Awesome quality. Well worth the money

The quality of the steel on these cutters is excellent. U.S. made tools are generally known for this "plus factor". The cutting edges line up perfect and the plastic grip softeners are mounted securely. The tool would be 5 star but that Channel Lock is cutting corners by not bothering to finish polish the metal. When the tool come out of the package it is actually so unfinished on the exposed metal as to put a sliver into one's hand if not handled only by the blue grips. I spent several hours while watching the tv taking the exposed metal from its roughness to a mirror finish using Arkansas stone and successively finer grade sandpaper. Looks and feels great now. Too bad company logo is gone along with the polishing but they deserve it...I did the work they should have done. Charge me a dollar more and give me the tool properly polished!

Channellock 337 7” Diagonal Cutting Plier I’ve used these diagonal cutting pliers (and similar Channellock variations) since I can remember. I'm not sure if its just pure nostalgia and what Ive grown used to using that makes me love these diagonal cutters so much of if it truly is the fact that they are an outstanding product. I believe its a mix of both. These pliers feature Channellocks laser heat treated knife and anvil style cutting edge made of high carbon steel that provide superior performance and long edge life. They are also made in the USA which is awesome. These pliers seem to last forever, cut great, have a smooth action and are available at a great price. Pro’s: Long Life Comfortable Cuts Easily Made in USA Affordable Con’s: Some people have reported burs on their pliers, I personally have not experienced this however they say they are easily removed with sand paper.

Good cutters that cut clean, The handles are a bit short, better for people with smaller hands.

I will admit there are a few brands of tools I am partial to, and CHANNELLOCK is one of them. All of the CHANNELLOCK tools I have owned over the years have held up very well, and I see no reason why these pliers will be any different. Many (probably most) hand tools these days are made in China. "Fiercely made in Meadville, PA" is clearly on the packaging for these tools. Some of the quality features include laser heat-treated cutting edges for longer life, and precision-machined knife and anvil-style cutting edges for a superior cut. The blue "comfort grip" rubber handles extend completely to the ends of the handles, which I like. (On many tools today, the grips stop short of the end of the handle.) In terms of usability, these pliers are a little over 7" long, and cut well for their size. Depending on what you are doing, you might consider smaller/shorter diagonal pliers if you are cutting small wire or need to be in small spaces. If you are cutting heavy wire, you may want to consider 8" or larger pliers, or pliers with some kind of pivot or other mechanical advantage that gives you more power than just handle length. But I find 7" to be a good intermediate size of diagonal pliers. I expect I will get many years of good use out of these pliers, and would recommend them to anyone looking for quality diagonal cutting pliers.

CHANNEL LOCK is a name I've used for over 50 years, I have never been disappointed with their products. These 7" diagonal cutting pliers are just the right size for all my electrical projects.

I've used a different brand of side cutters for over 20 years. This is my first time trying Channel Lock side cutters. You can see the tool is machined tight. There's nothing worse than a loose set of cutting pliers. The handle is a good fit. The thinner head profile lets you get into tighter places. I've been using these at work for the last few days and I've already thrown my old side cutters in the spare tool bin.

Being the Son of an Electrician / Electrical Contractor I have grown up around Quality Tools from a very young age. This said, I have always been partial to Klein, Snap On & MAC Tools, however I must state the quality of this tool is just as good & solid as all of them. On or In my Tool Belt Pouch the Blue of the tell tale sign of Channel Locks... My opinion of how they feel in your hand when using is a natural extension of one's hand. Quality Tool & the pricing is fair. I trust Channel Locks by name extension alone now. My Cutters I carry are my Channel Locks 7 in. Diagonal Cutting Pliers because they simply put "WORK". The Plier is a touch smaller & they have a good feel to them in tight places like electrical boxes... My wife has also used these & she liked the fit to her hand & she is a petite Filipina.

Great. The only American made diagonal cutting pliars in the store. Even though they cost more, I think most of us would pay more for products made in America
