This grill is the best.i needed something small but sturdy and this is it.it cooks hot and evenly and the handle doesnt get hot.the pullout charcoal tray is an added plus. Highly recommend

This is the 3rd one I have purchased. I love this grill for it's size and how well it grills or smokes a variety of foods using wood instead of charcoal, and use it several times a week. I would give it an excellent except for it's longevity. I store mine out of the weather, keep it clean and seasoned, but after about 2 years the fire box and fire grate has rusted out. These are replaceable on the the company website for about $20-$30 dollars. But the worst problem are the internal ledges supporting the grill grates, they are cheap and flimsy and also rust out after about 2 years. These are NOT replaceable, meaning you have to buy an entire new grill even though the main body of the grill is perfectly fine. Why won't the company improve this major design flaw, is it just to get customers like me to buy another new grill? For a few extra dollars they could improve this and I would give the grill an excellent rating.

Bought for my husband and he loves it. It attaches to his big grill so he can use this one for just us.

Works great. Over memorial day weekend 2022 used it and it cook all cooked great all types of meat.

I really like it So Much because of its big pit durability it's deepness I painted mines gunter green and glossy black engine heat resistant spray paint of course it's a keeper and now I can grill in my front yard on or off tha porch

Grill was easy to assemble. It does what it supposed to do. Ive used it to smoke a brisket and ribs so far. Only two issues are 1- there isnt a complete seal for the smoke to stay within the grill unit & 2- the piece that slides in and out to remove the ash tends to slide when the weight of the coal/wood isn’t distributed equally which leaks a considerable amount of smoke

I like the small grill and I've owned 3 of that type but for some reason this one's handle that you raise the top lid with gets hotter than the others I've owned.

We used the next day after purchase, we cooked Tri-Tip, it all came out perfect for us being first time smokers!!!!

Great grill, heavy build, perfect size for grilling or smoking for small gathering. Love the removable charcoal pan which makes it easy to add charcoal or wood chips and empty and clean. Yes, like most grills paint will burn away, but I always clean and repaint with hi-temp paint which will add years of life to the grill, especially is you clean after use and store inside as I do.

Haven't used it yet, to hard to put together, (Senior, need help!!!

Re-purchased Char Griller Portable Grill. We used the first one so much we needed a new one! We love the flavor of steaks& burgers!

The grill was easy to assemble. We have used it with charcoal and wood, works great either way. Added a thermometer to the top and now it is the perfect little grill for my small deck.

Was in Home Depot with my younger son and he talked me into buying it for him and he is very pleased

Like the cast iron grates. Not thin and flimsy like most others. Also like the heavier gauge steel construction.

Mounted the grill as a smoker box. Mounted up to my grill nicely. However the grill needs more area for ashes to collect and for air flow under smoking material.
