very nice result
Using as a room separation. Used to use just large curtains, but saw these as a nice and easy to use upgrade. The 4 panels are a semitransparent grey, if there is light behind you will see through. Very easy to open and close. Smooth is the word I would use, except when the end of one panel is reached and clinks to a stop as the next moves put. Overall the install is straight forward. It took me about 2 hours to complete (not including prepping the site). It has a single metal slider with 4 lanes, this expands to your space. You have two mounting options, wall or ceiling, I chose wall due to crown mounding and the height of the panels I chose. Getting the base on the bottom of the panel was the most fickle part, that said I didn’t have to cut my panels. Last item to mention, the top is held on with Velcro, so don’t cut that end. End of the day this looks great, very pleased.

Good customer service and product
I ordered 2 sets of panels. First set arrived with all the hardware needed and it was easy to install on my own. Shortly after I ordered the second set. While it arrived quickly, it was missing few pieces and hardware. I reached out to homedepot and they connected me with Chicology. Chicology reps were very efficient and fast at shipping the missing parts and hardware. Really great customer service! I used panels for covering furnace and water heater in my basement. Looks really nice!

Purchased to add privacy to a clawfoot tub and cat...
Purchased to add privacy to a clawfoot tub and cat litter box. I upgraded to the woven version, glad I did, looks really good. And cats haven’t bother it, at least not yet. The room opening is only five feet wide so only used 3 panels. Will save the fourth as a backup. It was tricky mounting the rail. The directions aren’t very thorough and online the video shows a completely different mounting method. But it’s worth the elbow grease. Not the smoothest opening and closing, but it won’t be used too often.

    clean modern window covering
The Chicology Grey kight filtering sliding panel blinds are an easy way to add a clean modern look to any window. they are fairly easy to install.. The instructions are not the best but easy to figure out.Just take your time cutting them to length! Everything you need to install is included. You can mount them to the wall or ceiling. I mounted them to the ceiling and it adds a dramatic touch to my living room.

Classy-looking; good for situations where you won't need to open/close them often
The Chicology Woven Cut-to-Size White Light Filtering Adjustable Sliding Panels look very classy when first put up. Unfortunately, they are made mostly of paper, so not suitable for daily use -- and especially not a kitchen patio door. They'd easily get dirty, and the panels do not always glide smoothly, so might require some hand-tugging, i.e. dirty fingerprints and possible tears. I would only recommend them for locations where they would be subject to daily wear-and-tear. They are as easy to install as other types of vertical plastic blinds.

    Chicology Light Filtering Shade.
Chicology cut-to-size grey light filtering adjustable sliding panel track blind with 23” Slats Up to 86” W X 96” L, brunch grey color are a great addition to our kitchen window. I like the light filtering effect these panels provide and the easy setup and install , my wife and I installed the shade after setup in +/-10 minutes. The bottom weighted piece that holds the fabric needs a little patience to install. The set screws need to be installed first then the fabric into place. The fabric is nice and hangs evenly. These quad panels can be used as for sliders, windows, room dividers, etc.

Great Track Blinds that need just a little bit more...
The Chicology Brunch Cut-to-Size Light Filterting Adjustable Sliding Panel Track Blinds in gray were just the solution I needed for my dining room. I am very lucky to have a tremendous view looking nearly due east out of my sliding glass doors right at the dinner table. Thanks to the sun, I can get some very hot and very bright light coming through the doors and windows in the summer and fall. I tried an exterior pull down shade for somewhile, because I did not want blinds or curtains to intrude on the view. Unfortunately, high winds were always the problem with something on the outside, so they never worked! The Chicology cut-to-size track blinds offered up a great solution though. Since the panels are each on their own track, I can slide them to whatever side works best for whatever occasion. Because they are cut-to-size, I don't have to worry about the panels being too short or too tall... they are exactly the right height! And, because the track is adjustable, the track fits exactly in the space of my door. When the panels are spaced apart, they filter out the intense rays of the sun to something much more manageable. When together, they blend right in with the wall creating an almost seemless look. Furthermore, they are not rigid panels and are fully detachabled with just hook and loop fasteners, so I can take them down very quickly! (Also a great plus for cleaning) Unfortunately, I can give these blinds a perfect review. They come close, but not quite and its really only one thing that makes them four out five. Its the track itself. The panels do not move smoothly in the track. They can get stuck on the other panels with the slightest wrong movement. They technically don't go end to end on the track, as each panel has a small protrusion to ensure the panels 'stack' correctly. Its these small issues that build up into a larger one. I love the blinds overall, I just wish they moved with more ease in the track.

The panels block light, but light still gets around the gaps
We picked these to test out some blackout options to see what works. The installation was easy enough, you just need to decide whether or not you want these to mount to the ceiling or the wall and pick the appropriate mounting hardware. You cannot adjust how close to the wall you want these with the wall mount option. Sadly these were a little disappointing in how well the blinds blocked out the light. Sure the material does not allow for light to pass through, but the gaps between the panels and the wall still allows for a significant amount of light around. So I wouldn't categorize these as true blackout blinds. If you are looking for blackout blinds, I would look elsewhere.

    Quality fabric panels
Initially I felt a little overwhelmed reading the installation instructions. There are a lot of steps. But, take you time, read through the instructions, lay out all the pieces and it does start to make sense. This is a new area of learning for me but I feel like I can do this. Once the room is painted these will be going up over our sliding glass door. The instructions are very detailed. The materials are all well made. These blackout shades can be mounted on the wall or the ceiling depending on your application needs. Can be used in a variety of ways as either window covering, a room divider, or a closet door which makes this more versatile than your average window treatment. I suggest two people for installation.

Very nice addition to sliding glass door
Overall, these are a nice panel track blind that I used to cover the big back patio sliding glass door. I had vertical blinds there and was ready to get something more modern and functional. Installation wasn’t too bad and I was able to use most of the same holes from the vertical blinds. The longest part was cutting the tracks to length. It wasn’t hard, and a pair of scissors is all you need. I was just taking my time and measuring up from the bottom to make sure everything was even across the panels. They look good and certainly brighten up the room from the previous blinds. The only minor gripe I have is the panels get caught on a tracks sometimes, so it’s not always a smooth opening and closing. Maybe after being used for a while it will loosen up, but it’s really a minor thing. I am happy with these and will probably get a similar set for the windows in the same room.

    Great Alternative to Vertical Blinds!
Chicology Sliding Panels are the perfect blind for me! These sliding panels are a great alternative to the typical vertical blinds when covering a patio door or large window area. I am not a fan of typical blinds, especially vertical blinds. I think they look cheap (even wood blinds). I, personally, like fabric window coverings to provide complete privacy and light blockage and this product delivers just that! I love the color (Ballroom Grey) and the texture of the fabric (seems durable). These panels would add style to any home or office space!

    Great customer service
When we opened our box one of the inner slide pieces for the curtain was broken. I sent them an email that night and the next morning they replied with a Fed ex tracking number for the replacement. Installation was fairly easy but it is critical to have the track ABSOLUTELY LEVEL; otherwise the blinds get hung up in the jointed area. You may want to check out several you tube videos about installation - I found they clarified the paper instructions. I am very pleased with the product & happy we choose the light filtered. We did not need the room darkening but did want privacy, which the light filtered does very well. I like the blind material- easy to wipe & cut. I used a metal square and put down a chalk line on the backside. I plan to make my own custom valance across the top but otherwise you might consider a model that comes with one - just depends on the look you want. I am a bit concerned about the draw rod wearing on the panel edge, I'll need to keep an eye on that.

    Attractive panels
I have to say that I had very high hopes for these sliding panels. The woven fabric is lightweight and very attractive and the installation was relatively easy (with 2 people). However, the fabric began to fray along the edges of the first panel that I attempted to install. The fabric also creases very easily if you are not really careful when handling. The mounting bracket probably is easier to handle if you are covering an area on the lower range, but exended to full width, it becomes more difficult. The end of the bracket came loose and was really difficult and frustrating to re-attach. The idea of the overlapping panels sounds good in theory, but I found them more frustrating than not to attempt to position them once hung. I tried several different variations - opening from the right only, opening from the left only, opening from both sides and pulling all panels to one side or the other. After all my experimentation, I found that I really only liked their appearance when completely closed. Also, the appearance of the mounting bracket, without any type of valance is just unsightly. I am definitely going to create a valance on my own to give it a more professional, finished look. These would be great to use perhaps in a laundry room to hide the appliances ,or perhaps to cover the opening of a closet without doors. The fabric material is appealing, the instructions were clear and installation was not too hard, but I am undecided as to the final result. I would like to see a valance (included or at least optional), perhaps just slightly narrower panels, and maybe the option of ordering extra panels in a different color for variety.

    Nice Design
These blinds are perfect for blocking out light. Ideally, you can undermount under a sliding glass door, the then put nice curtains in front. The fabric is plastic’ish, almost like a white tarp. I don’t think is looks good on it’s own unless you use it as a room divider. It’s starts off as exactly 46 inches and then can extend to 96 inches. So there are many options for it’s use. I am wondering if they sell replacement panels, to have alternative looks when you are in the mood to change the look of the room. Easy to put together, but definitely need two people when it's time to put up.

    Attractive alternative to vertical blinds
This shade is different than standard vertical blinds. Four panels are attached to the track runner via Velcro. The pure white panel with an attractive weave pattern is very appealing. This cannot be installed in a space less than 46 inches wide, as that’s as small as the track condenses. The track will cover 81 inches when fully extended. Two people are recommended for installation.

Nice 4 panel shade fitting 46 to 82 inch widths
This is a high quality option to standard vertical blinds. The four panels are attached to the sliding rods via Velcro. The bottom is cut to length and secured using included bottom rail hardware. The panels are slightly off white. The minimum opening surprised me a bit. The main rails cannot be installed in less than a 46 inch opening, but almost doubles when extended, to 81 inches.

Easy Setup and Opens or Closes from Both Ends
My wife loves that you can open or close them from either end. They almost covered our sliding glass door, but I think ours was an odd size, but it still covered most of the glass area. A couple of tips that I learned the hard way that I would like to share with you. One (1), when mounting it, you want the Velcro strips pointing out towards you when you are mounting the top portion, it doesn’t really tell you this, but I figured it out. Two (2), the brackets go into the wider side of the mounting strip, Three (3), the small screws with the heads are great to hold the cloth and the bottom rail together, get it lined up, use the screws to hold in place (you can use your fingers to tighten and loosen them) and after you got it set, then take them out one at a time and use the allen head screws. Four (4), the allen wrench that came with the package did not work for us, luckily, I have my own and the # 2 allen wrench is the one that worked great. Overall it was fairly easy to install after a small learning curve. And once up they look great hanging there. They do seem to hang up a little with opening or closing sometimes, but not bad and easily remedied. A nice addition to our home and will help to block out some of that bright sun from coming in.

    Stylist
I mistakenly thought these woven, cut to size sliding blinds would block the light from coming into my room. The color “oolong” is an odd color. But as you can see my picture, when I put next to my chocolate brown leather sofa, it’s like a dark taupe and it only filters some light. However, if you can find a way double the 23 inch slats, it would work. The slats were easy to cut. I feel the pieces you have to put together to connect to the wall felt tedious. You definitely need to people to put it up.

    NICE LIGHT FILTERING PANELS
These GREY LIGHT FILTERING SLIDING PANELS are great. The panels track can be mounted either onto the wall or onto the ceiling. The fasteners are easy to install for mounting the track. The panels are easily cut and can be made to your desired size. These panels are a light filtering style and they also come in a blackout panel. The panels easily mount onto the track with Velcro. Once installed, the panels work great for window blinds.

    EASY TO INSTALL
These SLIDING PANEL TRACK BLINDS are nice and easy to install. I installed these above my windows using the included wall brackets. They also include the anchors and screws with them. The track is easily adjusted for different sizes. I had to have it set at the widest setting because of the size of my two windows together. The spin fasteners are easy to use to hang the track onto the wall brackets. The panels are easily cut to the length you desire by using a standard set of scissors. Once the panels are cut, you install the bottom finishing bracket along with the set screws and just attach the two parts of the Velcro together. These silver blackout panels are great to darken a room.

Chicology Movie Night Cut-to-Size Ivory Blackout Adjustable Sliding Panel
Chicology Movie Night Cut-to-Size Ivory Blackout Adjustable Sliding Panel Track Blind with 23 in Slats Up to 86 in. W x 96 in. L, Movie Night Ivory We selected this item to be used in our recreation room as a welcome addition to help block the early morning sunlight. They do a good job as we hung them behind our drapes on a sliding door. The completed unit consists of four (4) sliding panels. The material resemble that of a pull down window shade. Oversized lenghts allow for a custom fit. After trimming a metal locking channel is placed on the bottm of each panel. Istallation was required mounting the hanging brackets to support the track. Be sure to level track when installing as this is important to remember. The closed panels also create a projector screen, an added plus. I would like to see narrower panels thal reopen the area a bit more.

    Nice Blinds
The Chicology track blind is a nice alternative to the more expensive blinds. These were very easy to install. The blinds are completely customizable, you can make them the length that you need. It comes in four panels. The blinds work perfect on my sliding glass door. The only complaint I have is the material of the fabric of the blinds. They frayed a little bit while I was installing them. I do believe the value and the looks of the blinds outweigh the small fraying of the material.

    Made My Own Valance
After installing my new blinds the other day, I realized that a valance would make a big difference for the window. Since none are sold, and I had the old vertical blinds on the floor with the valance that matched it and hangers, I decided to use those parts and the cut off woven remnants from the new blinds to cover and glue. Since the hangers don't quite fit the new panel track, I am looking for alternative hangers.

      Great modern looking vertical shades!
I typically find vertical blinds look dated. These are a fabulous option for modern looking vertical shades, especially for a doorway. This really isn’t too hard to install and its easy to open and close. The four cloth panels are a great alternative to the plentiful plastic panels you typically see in a home. I’m very pleased with both the look and the function!

Wish I'd gotten these years ago
My wife and I love these. We feel like it has given our kitchen a nice refresh. Our house has 3 sliding glass doors and all of them have had those vertical blinds on them that are terrible, so when I saw these online I figured they were worth giving a shot. They look so much better, plus there aren't little plastic pieces that break when your kids mess with them because they're cloth. They Velcro up so if kids pull on them they just come off. Whoever designed these should win some kind of award. I do have one complaint though. Theres no valance or anything to cover the track. And since the track expands (which is very nice) it changes sizes. So I know thats a pretty small complaint but it is something that could be done better.

      Great Innovation
Great Innovation. This Skyrise Cut-to-Size White Light Filtering Adjustable Sliding Panel Track Blind w/ 23 in. Slats Up to 86 in. W x 96 in. L by Chicology is as beautiful as it is unique. It is engineered to fit in a box that is just a fraction of the full size. It is well packed to protect from damage during shipping and handling. When you think it might be wrinkled from being folded and packed, you are pleasantly surprised that it is rolled with care. The unique design of the top rail easily expands and contracts to precisely fit you window or door width. The height is very long and is also adjustable by cutting off any length you do not need. When you are down fitting it to your window, it securely attaches at the top and has a bottom piece to hold the shades straight and in place. I like that you can open the blinds from either side as well. It is so easy to operate. The material is quite attractive and the light filtering is perfect for privacy without full blackout. It comes with all the hardware you need for installation. This is very well designed and engineered for long term durability and beauty.

Chicology Ballroom Cut-to-Size Grey Light Filtering Adjustable Sliding Panel Track Blind
Chicology Cut-to-Size Grey Light Filtering Adjustable Sliding Panel Track Blind with 23” Slats Up to 86”W x 96 “L, These Ballroom Grey color blinds are a simple and budget friendly way of getting the privacy you require. These quad panels can be used as room dividers, closets doors, windows, etc. as well. The installation was so easy and simple to figure out. Measure the system as a whole so you don’t have to install twice because you wanted it a little lower or higher off your floor. Make sure the bottom of the panels little set screws face to the inside of the slider or window so you don’t see them from the finished side. The fabric is nice and still lets light gleam thru. The tracks are adjustable to 52” min 86” wide max and are quiet opening and closing. We like the floor to 8' total installation.

      excellent for light control.
This Chicology Woven Sliding Panel is just what I needed to limit the bright light coming into my room. The panels are woven but not tightly which allows some light to come into room. The cut to size panels re easy to trim to the right length and come with bottom rails which keep them straight and steady. They did not take me log to install as they come with excellent instructions with diagrams. The top rail is attached by installing "L" brackets to the wall and with attached twist on mounting brackets to the head rail which makes them easy to install and remove without tools. The panels have Velcro at the top which attach them to the slides on the top of the header. Very well made!

      Fresh New Look
This Chicology panel track blinds are a nice new look for my sliding door. The standard covering for the large doors have been the narrow verticals. So tired of them. The panel track blind gives a very fresh look to the room. The panels are called woven white, which are not a bright white as I was expecting, as the picture looks bright white. The woven fabric gives it a natural feel and look. Nonetheless, it is a very good choice. These are light filtering, which cut out the direct afternoon sun without the room looking dark. The wand on each side makes it easy to move the blind panels to wherever they are needed for privacy or sun shielding. The installation was not hard once we got the hang of it. The instruction sheet showed the detail of each piece to have them put together the correct way. There was prep beforehand to remove the old verticals with the hardware and fill and paint old holes. After mounting the track to the hangers, we held it up over the window, found level, marked hole places, then proceeded to screw the unit to the wall. Unfortunately, no studs were available, so we used the included anchors. The panels were a little more than a foot too long, only because my drapes would have been too short if I move the rod higher to accommodate the panels. So I trimmed them down. The bottom rails would be easy to install if the allen screws were not so tiny. I even magnetized the allen wrench. I would like to have some sort of covering over the track. I will try to figure it out. These come in eighteen other colors.
