Great product, i would buy again. I've installed three in my house so far. They look clean. It can be difficult to install in an insulated wall but with a little effort you can get it.

This is my 3rd time purchasing and installing this item. The design has changed slightly over the years. My first one (2014) didn’t fit very well and it used a 3” diameter hole saw while the latest version uses a 3.5” hole saw. This latest version fits nicely. My best recommendation is to read through the instructions at least once and make sure you understand what you’re doing before you measure and start cutting holes into your wall. The video is also a pretty straightforward overview. You may want to install it on the side of your TV that has the HDMI ports so you don’t have cables running across your TV Wall mount. My biggest disappointment was that my LG TV power plug has a 90 degree angle bend so it cannot be used in the power outlet so I had to find a 3-prong outlet adapter. I was unable to find one that fit in the small space so i had to buy a small power bar and use 3M adhesive strips to mount it to my wall near the outlet. It doesn’t look bad, but it is less tidy than I had hoped for as you can see in my photos. I wish they had provided an adapter piece to account for angled power cables and save me the extra cost and effort.

I had read the reviews and tried to prepare myself for it not to be as easy, but I honestly almost gave up. That tube didn't want to bend enough to stay in front of the insulation and kept finding it's way behind the insulation. I'm honestly no professional either and am a little worried about the damage I may have caused inside the wall. But gosh the final product looks great. Exactly what I needed. And when I add any new devices, I'll be able to just add an additional cable.

I just finished my installation today and it looks great! The main issue is the very cheap hole saw bit that they include. It nearly instantly warped itself out of plane. I had to cut through the drywall with an X-Acto blade instead. Once I got it installed, it’s great! I really like the ability to plug into my home theater power supply which is in my media cabinet.

Really happy with it. It looks really nice and clean. Plus I was able to run a network cable from the ceiling down behind the wall, and into the TV by using the upper outlet. Took a bit of patience okay a lot of patience to get the tube that holds the cable properly set up- but this was understandable as there is a basement cement wall behind the wallboard so I had very little space to work with. BUT- it fit! And now I can run cables behind the wall with no effort.

I found the kit to be very complete and pretty simple to install with one exception and that is that once the boxes are fully anchored there isn't much room to make the corner with longer cable ends. I had to pull the power boxes out to run the One Connect cable for my Samsung Q90 series TV which is a bit longer than your typical HDMI cable. The power outlet is also recessed too much for a 90° plug like LG uses on their current OLED TVs. Both of these issues could be easily resolved by having a void in the center of the power receptacle boxes like I have simulated in an attached picture.

Excellent. No more unsightly cables dangling below the monitor! A little challenging to install (especially when there is insulation in the wall), but the results were well worth the effort.

Easy to install & worth the money if you want your wires in the wall this is how my living room looks now i love it!

I bought this last night from a brick and mortar store. My hole saw broke while I was cutting the second hole. The set screw stripped out. So I had to finish the job using a standard drill bit and drilling perforations around the ring and using a Dry Wall Saw to finish it. Then the included tubing doesn't have any stretch to it which would aid installation. Overall I'm happy with the finished product but the install was a bit more troublesome than I would of expected.

This was NOT easy to install. I am not sure what all the other reviews are about saying how easy it is. Took us like 12 hours plus to get it hooked up. The instructions don't show this part well but you have to place the whole plastic piece into the wall in order for the black tube to reach the bottom hole. It took us a while to figure that out. Also the circular saw broke after one hole in our walls. Ended up having to go buy another one.

Great, except my tv cord doesn't fit into the small half circle hole to plug in. I would prefer a standard rectangle outlet plug in.

I have already recommended to family members who have already purchased the units for their homes....I plan to purchase 3 more units for the remaining TV's and possible 4th once TV is purchased for Room.

This product is great! Makes it very simple to install TV/Audio wiring behind the wall and comply with local fire/building codes. The kit includes everything you need to make a professional install with the exception of a stud finder. The only thing to be concerned about is when there is a fire-break stud in the way. There is a tendency to want to center the kit on the TV location above an outlet. It sometimes works best to find a location that is to the right or left of the fire-break to avoid having to cut into the wall through the fire-break in order to complete the installation. I was so happy with the results from this kit that I purchased them for my office and two bedrooms in addition to the living room. The average homeowner can make this installation without too much effort.

This kit provides a complete answer to adding unseen cabling for a wall mounted TV in an older home. It also addresses the problems of appropriate power wiring and searching for approved in wall rated cabling because it includes an easily adjustable "conduit" which snaps between the upper and lower box locations. This conduit allows you to pull your "normal" signal cables and for future requirements you can easily pull a new cable. Think about it, HDMI cables didn't exist 25 year ago, now try and watch your new TV without one! And should something change in the future, with this install, you'll be ready. I only encountered two problems during installation. I could not easily install the plug assembly into the bottom box. That is until I took the female end of the included extension or "jumper" cord and pressed it firmly onto the male plug end of lower plug assembly to properly seat in lower box. The other problem was I somehow lost one of the rotating ears on the upper box. Luckily I had a new install outlet box on hand and by shortening it a little bit, was able to use one of the install "ears" and the day was saved!

I hard a hard time keeping the circular saw bit attached to my drill, but probably user error. I searched out a video and watched it every step of the way, about 20 times! Critical to get your measurements correct. Installed the TV mount first then measured to be sure the cord kit would sit behind TV as not to show. LOVE not seeing so many cords hanging down the wall. Looks so clean fresh. May be mounting the bedroom TV soon too.

This was my second time purchasing this kit because I liked the first one so much in my home office, I wanted to install in another room. Easy install, hardest part is getting the inner tube to click to bottom receptacle (If you have too much tube it bends in the wall and too little, the top needs to get fully submerged in the wall to accommodate for lack there of tube.) Also, the feeding snake provided is pretty useless. The accessory cord receptacle pretty much has a 90 degree bend at top and bottom, that with the ribbed tubeing and the fact the snake is plastic makes for a frustrating time and it failing (snapping in half). I luckily had some fishing line and a fishing weight and dropped it in from the top of the tube and tied off an HDMI cable at the bottom and easily pulled it up through the tube. Overall love the appearance of the kit and it’s ease to install for a DIY noob like myself.

This is not a complicated install. It takes time, and the ability to be confident in what you're measuring. Think out what you want to do, slow down and breath, MEASURE TWICE then cut. If you aren't sure, measure a third time. You will have no trouble if you follow my advice. If you have insulation and it's getting in your way, pull it out, you aren't going to hurt anything pulling out insulation from one part of your wall. The problems people are having aren't related to this product, it's related to their inability to follow directions and process obstacles, they would fail at installing any in wall power cord system.

Great Product with Professional Looking Results When mounting my LED television this is exactly what I was looking for. The kit was 100% complete with everything you need to do the job (minus the actual drill). Step by step instructions were good, but the video was even better. I actually had my cell phone on the video contained here on the HD website and would watch each step, stop the video to perform the task and go back and forth to repeat the process until the job was done. Going very slowly and methodically, it took me about 1 hour to do the complete job from start to finish. I couldn't be happier with the results and the fact I know it is much more compliant method than just dropping the cord behind the wall is a big relief. I attached a photo of the finished product. I realize it doesn't show the product, but with a kit like this, that is ultimately what you are after, right?

Fantastic! As long as you have the basic tools, this kit comes with everything you'll need. I was surprised to see that the hole saw was also included. I'm happy with how well the install went and also knowing that I have a raceway if I ever need to run more wires. Highly recommend this product if you're hanging you TV. (I have yet to run the speaker wires behind the wall and finish the rest of the install.)

I found the CE Tech In-Wall Power Cord and Cable Kit to be the perfect solution for my recent large screen installation. I've done everything from building houses to changing outlets, so the process of installing cables in the wall was pretty easy for me. For me the attraction was the completeness of items supplied in the kit. They all work together to make a very professional looking and very well built installation. The instructions were complete and accurate as best as I could tell. Being a guy, I just skimmed the instructions and went right to work. Regardless, the fit and finish of the materials supplied, made the project come off without a hitch. I would recommend this kit to anyone who is planning on mounting a big screen on the wall. My wife was so impressed she told our friends how well it went and how great it looks. As a result, I have a couple of installs lined up for friends in the coming weeks.

The hardest part was feeding the cables through and thats probably because I did not follow the cutting directions of the video because that did not make sense to me. I cut the length from bottom of top hole to top of bottom hole. The zig zag pattern of the tube caught each cable head while I was inserting. But it was totally worth the trouble. I have recommended this kit to two people so far that have asked "how did you hide the cables" and I'll continue to recommend. This 40 year old lady installed her 65 in all by her lonesome :D

This product is AWESOME and so simple to install. I'm a 51 year old female with what I would consider average "handy" capabilities. I installed this in exactly 1 hour. No sweat. I strongly recommend watching the video link provided as well as using the written directions included in the box. Reading the instructions for each step then watching the step performed in the video make things perfectly clear.

This kit was simple to install and looks great. no cons that I could think of. I will be buying more.

Aside from the steep price tag, this is a very good product. Easy installation and everything you need is included in the box. This is a very good solution for hiding all your cables and powering your tv without calling your electrician. I only had to run two HDMI cables in addition to powering my tv. For people who have to run more than two HDMI cables, you may experience issues fitting all the cables through the relatively small housing. Overall, a satisfied customer.

I installed a flat panel tv on the wall - after bolting the mount in I found out that i couldnt run the power cord behind the drywall as that would violate code (and technically be a fire hazard). after looking at all the options at the store - conduit, additional box, etc - i chose this and boy am i happy! I usually buy 90% of my stuff online and this was competitively priced. The biggest plus was that it even came with the drill bit to cut out the hole in the drywall - if you've ever used a jab saw you will appreciate the amount of effort this saves you. It looks great and works fine. my local HD has this for almost half off the online price so im going to go back and buy an extra one because im still on the fence about hanging the second flatscreen in the bedroom and if i decide to do it I'm definitely using this.
