I use these lights around the bottom of my camper to light up all the way around it. Some people commented that it looked like it was on fire.

Buyer beware, brightness drops to almost nothing after a couple of years, look at the picture. The lights on the right are new. The manufacturer said is not possible, the picture speaks by itself.

Got them on sale and wrapped them around my railing. I like that they are separate pieces so I can make it as long or short as possible.

The “warm white” was not what I was expecting but for my application it worked out as the light was defused instead of direct

Less a soft white and more like a VERY warm white color

These are not supreme quality. I bought a total of (2) 40' sections and (2) 24' sections. Each is a series of 8' sections that is connectable to another. Among the sixteen sections that came altogether, there were (6) that were either partially or totally deficient. The only reason I bought these again was because I had already sunken so much cost.

Easy to install and looks great! Sets the right ambiance and mood for nights out on the deck.

The product works. However, they are supposed to be soft white and they are not soft and don’t appear white. That look pinkish. In the picture they look bright (not soft) yellow. In real life that look pink. Most of my family likes it, but still not what I expected.

These candy cane style lights are exactly what I was seeking for the columns on my porch. This is a 40-foot set with a detachable plug, and can be extended by adding additional sets of lights via a simple screw-in connector at the end of the set (hence the removable plug, so you can plug these in directly or use as an extension to an existing set.) The lights are bright and feature a soft white and red coloration evocative of traditional holiday lights. There is no in-line power, meaning when you plug them in, they turn on, which is perfect for my outdoor smart power controller (or any power controller).

I am more optimistic about this rope. I needed to run back to Home Depot to buy another couple packs of $5 packs of clips and screws as I wanted to use more holders. This string is far brighter than our original rope. Be patient with the install. I used my small Ridgid 12 volt driver because it has a pretty accurate trigger to start these small screws. A small punch may be helpful to make a starter hole. While the plastic clips feel too lightweight, they are actually flexible and I did not break a single one on install. Bottom line-- my wife likes the color and the brightness so I got that going for me.

This is a 40 foot rope light. The lights are LED and the covering around them is very durable. Because they are LED, it will use less electricity for the holidays. String them up along your side walk, on your deck rail or even along your roof line. This light system is easy to install and can be connected to other lights with no difficulty. The lights are waterproof as well.

I love this candy cane pattern and the fact this comes in such a long length. I’ve done a good deal with rope light and cutting and joining lengths and getting them watertight can be tricky depending on the quality of the lights. The fact these sections are pre joined and sealed is a big plus if you need a long run like this. There are so many things you can do with rope light but I think I have figured out my use. I built a big tree this year out of rebar (14 ft tall with the star on)) and put around 800 or 900 red C6’s’s on it and outlined it with some green rope light from a 150’ spool I already had. I think this draped around it back and forth would look great. I’ve also built a micro phone out of rope light this year for a band I’m working on and the excess rope will hang and be the mic cord. The mic and singer will sync to music. Like I said, if you get just a little creative you can do many things with this. I do a bit over 50,000 lights and have 25 controllers set to music. These are going to make a good addition to this display. I started working on Christmas 2019 in May 2019 and I’m almost ready for it here in Sept. I’ll start putting these new additions out in October. I can’t wait to see how this looks out.

The Candy Cane (Red/White) LED Rope Light can be used to brighten up any space during the holidays. The lights are rated for both inside and out. The rope lights are great for doorways, house trim, outdoor patios, pool areas, trees and shrubs. Mounting hardware for installing the rope light on wood or metal trim is included. The length of the rope light is 40 feet and there are 8 foot sections. Each section has a twist-off electrical connector. This allows you to shorten the rope light to your desired length. I plan to wrap the holiday lights around the trunk of my palm tree next to my artificial Christmas tree. Another thought would be to place the rope lights around my front door.

Was really wishing these lights were going to be great. I was planning on getting more of them to make them longer so I could put them up poolside on my 'Cabana' for a nice effect in the dark of night. Although they are pretty bright and would have been a nice addition they didn't all work!! What I mean is they are 16 feet long and you can add multiple sets if you need to. They just plug in to one another and then get screwed together. They are supposed to be water proof and that's why I wanted them outside by the pool. Each string of 8 feet long has 90 little LED lights in them so 180 total in the 16 feet run, but 30 of the lights just never lit up. I'm very disappointed with them and I probably will not buy any in the future, I just don't want to take a chance as I have not been able to find a way to 'FIX' the ones that don't light up. I did say that the ones that did light up are nice and bright but when some just don't work what good is it. So NO I would not recommend them to others. Even if they were to work at the store what is to say they will continue to work later. Something went wrong with my string of lights and maybe others will do the same, who knows. Not happy with these at all. I did take some pictures of them while they were being put up in my screen porch but after they did not all light I just didn't hang them on all the hooks, it seemed like just a waste of time at that point.

Easy peasy set up. Wow, I really like how easy this was to set up on my staircase. Usually wrapping garland and lighting around the banisters are really tedious because of the length of the them. This however, was very very easy because the rope comes apart in manageable sections. It says you can connect up to 144ft on the one outlet, making it really handy when lighting along the top of a fence or gutter. The sections crew together with weather tight seals making it great for outdoors. There are clips that can be used to screw in place keeping it in place if need be. I used them at the bottom of our stairs to keep them from becoming a trip hazard. I will be buying additional sections to finish my stairs, as well as using elsewhere. They’re very pretty when lit.

LEDs have brought the lighting products to the next level. Until LEDs we did not hear about products such as a Rope Light. The rope light makes lighting for the holidays easy and convenient. Simply secure the mounting clamps to wooden surface and secure the clamps using the screws provided. Then simply push the rope light inside the clamp. This rope light is colorful with red and white markings, is very bright and stays cool to touch when lit. This 16' long rope light can be extended up to 144 ft. by adding sections designed for that purpose. We love the safety feature of the replaceable fuse inside the plug and 3 year warranty. One spare fuse is included. This spare fuse is stored inside the plug. This information is not in the manual and I have reported to Home Depot so the manual can be revised. As with any electrical product always unplug before doing any work for safety. Although LEDs stay cool to touch do not tightly wrap around any structure as it can damage after a long continuous exposure.

Very cool winter light set. It's actually 5 segments that are each 8 feet, so you can easily remove a section if you need a slightly shorter amount, and it's equally easy to add a segment to make it longer. The "mounting hardware" isn't exactly the most durable stuff out there, but it does include a fair amount of clips, and screws. If you were going to have it used indoors, you could probably use reposition-able strips with better luck, but those won't work outdoors in the cold, so that's not a perfect solution. The light itself is bright, but from a distance, it's a little hard to see the red stripe. The light is supposed to be a White light, though in my opinion, it was a warmer color, and didn't look quite as candy cane like, but if the light isn't plugged in, it looks really nice, and isn't much of an eyesore, which is nice, because my wife likes to decorate for Christmas after the turkey is cleaned up on Thanksgiving. Another nice feature is that the strand has a long lead, so you don't need to have the outlet right near where you want the lights, nor do you have light where you don't need it.

These lights are easy to use. Very good looking Christmas time I use them in different places I have several posts on my porch and can wrap one with this set. I can use them indoor or outdoor. I can use them to accent one of my holiday decorations. I do recommend trying these lights for yourself. Great quality Brightness is just perfect Christmas ❤️

These light are perfect at Christmas time I line the top of my fence with them and everyone that passes stops to look at them. The 40ft is perfect. I have also used them to line my front porch with them. Great quality Hassle free to put them up and take down. Picture below is just to show how great they look lit. These rope lights looks great lit up, although I cant say that I can see much of the candycane pattern from across the room, they have more of a pinkish glow to them. I used these indoors, but they woul be good option outdoors because you can connect up to 144' on one outlet which means less extension cords and blown fuses. There was hardware and screws included to hang, I think the hardware is maybe best used outdoors because of the screws. Also glad to see these have a 3 year warranty because we all know what a headache holiday lights can be. Quality seems decent.

This is nice, decorative rope light. The quality of the plastic encasing the LED bulbs seems to be very good. The outer plastic is soft and supple but still firm enough to hold its shape. The red stripes seem to be part of the outer sheath and do not scratch or rub off, even dragging my knife over them caused no problems. There are two 8" sections that are joined together with waterproof screw connectors that seem well made and stout. You can add more sections up to 144 ft. The lead in wire and power supply is about 5 ft long and has a fuse and a spare fuse under a door in the plug in end. The diameter of the rope light is about 1/2". There are 10 of the clips that you can use to hold up the rope light and screws to go with them, the clips are nice and have a little flex to them so that they work well and do not break easily, the screws however could be of a better quality material. The light that comes off of this rope light is kind of a orange or amber color. All in all it seems to be a nicely made unit with a 3 year warranty.

I got this Outdoor/Indoor 16 ft. Line Voltage Soft White Integrated LED Rope Light Flexible Candy Cane Style Holiday Lights to put in the greenhouse. It looks interesting. We like it. See attached photos. Or I may give it to my daughter who loves festive Christmas lights. Maybe it could do double duty and do both as not much need for light in there in mid-winter here in the frigid North.

This rope light set does have a nice bright appearance and really nice look up close. From a distance of 20 foot it is hard to see the red stripes, to me I just saw a bright white strip, my wife says to her it kind of just looks pink. I do like it comes in 8 foot segments. So this light can be 8, 16, 24, 32 or 40 foot long. I do wish you could buy a power cord by itself so you could turn the strip into 2 or more strips just by adding power cords. The lights themselves feel real durable, but the plastic clips feel fragile, but to be fair none broke while I set these up. The biggest disappointment with these lights are the screws they sent with it,. Don’t plan on using them, they are as about as cheap as they come. Soft metal, but not magnetic, self seating, but I couldn’t get one to drill into soft pine without a pre drilled hole, Then the head stripped out when I tried to remove it. So bad a screw hoarder like myself just threw them away and used my own screws. A #6 half inch flat head worked just fine. Overall, nothing wrong with these lights. Rope light clamps and screws are cheap and for a front lawn display I bet they will do you just fine.

The LED feature uses very electricity and the LEDs rarely burn out and does not produce any heat compared to incandescent rope light sets... The 40 foot length covers a large area and other lengths can be added.

I provide professional birthday and holiday decorating and rope lights are always a big hit. Rope lights work best when they are made to accept additional ropes. This rope light does just that. In fact, the unit is actually two ropes connected together. The illumination intensity is another critical factor. This rope light has no problem shining bright, even in daylight hours (I included a pic taken during daylight to exemplify the brightness). The reason for 4-stars is due to the overall color. While the rope has a red candy-stripe, all of the lights are white. The red stripe losses its ‘redness’ and shows as an orange color. If I noticed that, so will my clients. The overall quality is solid and I’m confident it will perform well when used outside. Just be aware of the diluted red color.

Holiday time is just around the corner and it’s a rare year where we don’t get some sort of new Christmas decoration. With the holidays in mind, we ordered this Home Accents Holiday candy cane LED rope light to decorate our grandsons small Christmas tree. This rope light is 16 feet long but you can connect a total of 9 strands to make it 144 feet long. The rope light is clear in color with white lights inside and it has a red spiral stripe around the outside of the tube. When you plug it in, it becomes obvious that the red stripe is not a very deep color. In my opinion, the lights had a sort of orange glow and my wife thought it was more of a pink glow. In the dark, you can clearly tell that it is a candy cane design. This seems like a decent light set but it would have been nice if somehow, the red could have been a more obvious red color. I also think the white LED’s could have been more of a bright white as opposed to the soft white that they are. The tubing around the lights feels fairly sturdy and I think they will hold up well. This is a nice decoration but does have some room for improvement.
