Kind of Amazing
My house was built in 1900 and when I bought it, the bathroom was untouched.
I originally hated it, but the vintage black and green tile grew on me and it is in great shape. Grout Renew is something inexpensive I could do myself that wonāt make me cry when I eventually renovate. I think the picture speaks for itself. Grout renew on the left. Untouched on the right

I was able to revive the dirty white unsealed grout from my bathroom floor. It does require patience and time, well worth it. I sealed it afterwards with a sealer. Itās been about a week and a half from this post since installed, no issues no complaints. Had some left over. FYI: double clean before applying paint, specially if you choose a light color.

Easy and awesome fix
I used this to whiten the grout in my bathroom and I canāt believe the difference it made! Prepped the grout by washing thoroughly with vinegar and water. Let dry for about an hour. Used a small paintbrush to apply the paint. It took about 3-4 coats to completely cover. It didnāt take long at all to dry in between coats. The paint blended with my tile really well, so I didnāt have to worry about meticulously wiping excess off.

Works well with wood look tile such as Lifeproof
Used this on Lifeproof wood look tile because of efflorescence taking place on the grout. The grout also mixed with the thin-set and was not the color I was looking for. I used Earth color grout and ended up with a very light color.
The best method I found for applying this is to get a soft bristle toothbrush and buy twist top washable glue, dump the glue and clean the container well. Pour this stuff into the glue container so you can control the flow. Squeeze it into your grout lines and use the toothbrush to evenly apply it. Wipe the excess off the tile with a damp microfiber.
In the picture left is before, right is after.

We chose white grout for our kitchen tile which was a big mistake due to staining from spills of coffee and food. After a period time we decided to use the Polyblend to dye our grout gray. It worked really well and we are extremely happy with the end result. Photos are included that show a portion of the floor with the new color in contrast to the previously color

This is what Iāve been searching for! My brand new tile work had bright white grout that turned yellow in a matter of days after installation. After trying several different kinds of cleaner I was losing hope. I saw the reviews for this product and decided to give it a try. Iām so glad I did! I used the bright white and it looks like the brand new shower I was hoping for. It took about 6 hours with a paintbrush and paper towels but well worth it. I would highly recommend this product!

I decided to try this product on my darkish grout, testing it in a closet in case it was a mistake...it was not. Following the hints from other reviews I trimmed an old toothbrush narrower so it was just under the width of the grout line and put a squeeze bottle top onto the product bottle. I have glazed tile with a recitified edge and sanded grout. It went on easily and I used the brush to scrub the product against the edges of the tile ensuring full coverage, wiping off any overage. I may have applied it a bit too lightly but apparent color variation seems to fade as the product fully dries; I will adjust if necessary. I occasionally worked too large of an area before going back to wipe overage. The product had already dried but on a glazed tile, at least, it seems to scrape right off and I will use a scotch bright pad to remove any stubborn spots. It also did a nice job masking some fine chips in tile glaze which was a pleasant surprise and I will be sure use it on some other chips and cracks. The completed floor now would not be my first choice were I totally redoing the place but compared to before....it is wonderful!!

This product came recommended to me by a family member and the white grout on our bathroom floor looks wonderful! I had to adjust the instructions a bit because these I was dealing with a white mosaic hexagonal tiles with black square tiles as part of the pattern, but I just painted the smaller grout lines that had become dingy and uncleanable over the years with a paint brush. I also could not immediately wipe up the overpaint with a wet cloth as this was, as I said, a mosaic tile, but I cleaned with acetone and the floor looks lovely! I now plan on redoing the grout with my slate flooring that has become stained over the many years, and that application I expect to be much easier.

This product produced a dramatic difference in my floors. It was tedious to apply but covered old grout well and made it look new again. I applied with an artist brush. Get an assortment and see what works best. It dries so fast you really don't want to have to wipe it off the tile. It took a long time to apply but it was worth it. I used only 2 bottles for 600 sf of tile. It seems like it may last a while but even if it only last two years and I have to reapply, it is worth the time. It made the floor look brand new.

Best transformation ever!
I am so happy with this product. Antique white covered black grout without any primer products. It dries incredibly faston the grout and removed easily from the tile while still wet. Saved us thousands on a new tile job. I dis a little every night when the babies were asleep. 10 hours of work. I used a doggy toothbrush( great angle) and a damp paper towel for the excess.

exact color match
Used polyblend grout in the color Bone when my tiles were installed and the installer never sealed the grout. So over time it got filthy and no matter how many products i used i could never get it to look like it did when it was new UNTIL i bought this and now my grout looks brand new.

The colorant product itself was quite effective, and relatively easy to use. Good results, though i had to buy several different shades to get the color i was expecting from the original Oyster Gray Polyblend grout. Unfortunately, the retail stores only stock about 8 to 10 of the 40 or so colors offered, so i had to resort to an on-line order to get what i needed.
The real issue, however, was the original grout product itself. While i am not a professional, i have successfully done many tile and grout jobs, including stone, marble, slate, etc. Both times that i have used Polyblend grout in medium to dark gray colors i have been very disappointed in the finish, which dries in shades from mottled grey to white. I followed the instructions to the letter in terms of grout prep, application, drying time and removal technique, but in both cases i had to go back and artificially color the grout to get the quality and color i expected. Going on line, i've discovered that i am not alone in this experience. I have to conclude that the Polyblend product is just substandard, and like the other reviewers, i am unlikely to ever use it again.

Good stuff! I hated our kitchen floor before using this as our grout used to be dirty and discolored. I don't have a before picture but this picture is final result. Next time I will use a different color though as I used linen color and would like more of a bone color next time. When floor dried the linen color did not exactly match color on bottle. Gave it 4 stars because of this. But linen will do for now as so clean looking. We did prep the grout lines before applying tediously scraping off the old sealant on them which was a lot of work but it was well worth it as new grout stuck really really well! Would recommend.

I had white grout with white subway and a gray speckled quartz counter. I wanted some contrast in the tile so I used the Grout Refresh Platninum (which is a light gray). Here are the results. It was very easy to use doing it my way. Applied with a toothbrush in small sections, immediately wiping off the tile with a damp paper towel to remove the excess. Only took an hour for the whole kitchen. The next day I sprayed window cleaner to polish the tile.

It took some real elbow grease but this little bottle of paint fixed our gross kitchen floor. This was my last attempt to DIY - I'd tried all kinds of grout cleaners, bleach, nothing worked. This did the trick. Glad we didn't have to rip out the tile.

Very pleased
My original grout was Canvas which must have been discontinued. I made the mistake of not sealing it when I laid the tile. I bought the Linen and Antique White and mixed equal parts - close enough. Cleaned a section, let it dry and went over with the colorant. My grout lines are not straight lines and some sections are narrower than others. I recommend using a small cheap craft paintbrush. I did 2 coats on the really dark spots (years of dirt - all of it is not coming out!). Donāt worry about getting it on the tile. I had a damp rag and would wet my finger and would lightly run my finger along tile edge to wipe it off. I then waited a couple days and went back over it with clear sealer. It looks great.
