We used this caulk three years ago on a bathroom remodel. It was color matched to our grout but the color is not a perfect match. Now, three years later, the caulk has shrunk and cracked so much that it's letting water get behind the wall. Some areas appear to have no caulk. Very disappointed. We have used lots of Custom Building Products and remodeled several bathrooms but this is a disappointment. Now we need to recaulk the tub and we have no choice but to use this product because it's color matched.

This would be great if it actially was the same color as the grout with the same name sold by HD!

Excuse me for expecting the delorean grey sanded grout and the delorean grey sanded caulk to be the same color. That was foolish of me.

I used this to caulk an expansion gap and it blends in very well with the matching sanded grout. In my application the caulk shrunk significantly making a deeper groove than the adjacent grout, if I were applying again I would be sure to apply it flush to the top of the tile and then let the shrinkage bring the product down to the proper level as opposed to using my finger to make the groove when it is wet. As you can see from my picture the expansion joints remain hidden with this product.

Great alternative to using caulk or grout on my new kitchen counters. Have to let it stand without getting wet to set up, but it's very nice and resembles grout once dried.

I purchased this premixed caulk to fix the edge around a tile floor. The color matched perfectly. It is very easy to install, you only need to clear the access as it is not a thick caulk.

This caulk was very easy to glide over some old caulk between the counter top and wall tiles. It went from a light gray to a charcoal color. The original has held up for 8 yrs and wanted to change the color. We would definitely use this brand for other caulking jobs inside our home.

Exact grout color match for a 12 year old bath.

Bought this product that was advertised to match the grout color (urban putty). It was white. No color at all.

Difficult to finger spread. It lost much of itself as it dried. Seems I received a dud.

I used this on Joints from a 1/8" to 1/4". Its been about 2 days. I poked at it with my finger and it caved in like clay. It was like that for all the joints. I'm sure will be a issue during cleaning. I had to peel it all of and just simply grout it. Really disappointed. Save your money and time do not buy.

Used this on the bottom row of tile on our kitchen backsplash. Looked great at first and held ul to water. But less than a year later it has cracked the entire length of the application. Use high quality silicon instead

I obtained this product after the professional tile setter who was doing a backsplash in my kitchen requested I get it. I was providing all product and he was providing the labor. I asked him what the difference between the caulking and the regular grout was. He explained the that the caulk has a silicone additive that helps provide an even better seal than the regular grout. This is especially helpful in areas such as the corners where the backsplash meets the counter and can help prevent water seepage behind the tile or behind the counter top.

This caulk is easy enough to use. Soap and water cleanup is almost a breeze. Even though it's sanded it still goes on easy. I can actually say that I have never had a callback from leaks due to Polyblend caulking failure.

I used this caulk in both the "white" and "snow white" colors. Both tubes performed perfectly with no clogs or hard (dried) caulk. The two different whites were in fact different, and true in color to their grout counterparts. The caulk is a really good quality caulk as well.

The sanded finish matches the grout perfectly

Used it 4 days ago and everything looked great. Went today to clean the tiles so i could seal the grout and it started coming off. It is spongy and if i push it it stays in. I will need to take all off and do it again. Went today and see that many users have same issue. Frustrated

Application is easy Sink in as it dried and took two days to do so. The look is very good

Used properly it takes a lot of work out of small jobs.

Goes on smooth. Charcoal is close to black. Bought charcoal from another brand was gray. Needed black

Product was easy to match, took a picture with my cell phone then matched to sample card in store. It was easy to apply and looks great.

I've used Custom mortars and grouting on tile jobs for years, always with great results. The sanded caulk matches the regular sanded mortar very well, and it appears to be holding up. In the photo, the caulk is between the threshold and the tile.

Charcoal color did not even come close to matching the grout. It matched the color of the wet grout- about 5 shades darker than the finished product. Talked the product up beforehand too. Thanks for making me look like an idiot home depot!

Dyno Mite super product. Easy to work with. Drying time perfect. Enables enough time to clean up after applying it. I initially thought that the price was way high, but after using the product I can see that it is worth every penny. I may not be the talk of the neighborhood, but I AM a happy camper with this product. I took extraordinary measures to seal off the end to save the product for future use. Want to know how to seal the ends of these tubes for re-use later? I have used it for several years without one getting stuck. When finished with the amount you want to use make sure that there is a little room in the tip area. Fill the tip area with whatever you feel will prevent air from getting to the product but not something to destroy the product. For this I used a small amount of water till it shows at the end. Obtain from Home Depot some 3:1 shrink tubing and cut about 3 inches of it. Make sure it is the shrink tubing that is lined with adhesive/glue. Slip the tubing over the dispensing end and make sure you have as least one inch extra past the tip. Using a heat gun shrink the bottom of the tubing onto the dispensing tip.Wait till dry. ( only about 2 minutes or so) Then make sure water is still visible inside the tube opening or add more water.THEN heat up the very end till the glue melts and then using a pair of longnose or similar flat surface pliers crimp the end flat. The water will run out a bit but it will leave enough inside to force the contents to be in contact with the water and never dry out. For non waterbase products I actually utilize silicone electrical dilectric at the end. Just have to make sure ALL of the silicone is gone before utilizing the product again. I love this idea, and yes, it is my own non copied idea.

I had a small repair to do to the edge of a front porch and this was perfect for the job. Worked just like any other grout I've ever used.

Product was easy to use, bonded well with edges of old caulking.
