Both work great for what I need them for. The only down side is the imbalance of the weed eater, it gets quite hard to hold for longer periods.

Really happy with this combo especially not having to deal with gas and starting conventional weed eaters. Easy start and does my 1/4 acre yard. Would recommend.

Great set for the yard. Trimmer is a little long and on the awkward side for a shorter, older female but I can manage it. The blower seems to have a lot of power and I can’t wait to try it out when there’s just a light dusting of snow this winter.

Blower….very good. Use it almost daily for yard work and or blowing wood dust from the shop. Trimmer…..not too bad. Balance point is off but I’m getting used to it. Tried moving handle but it didn’t help. Non folding model might be better for balance. No issues with battery life.

Good unit. Battery size is too small for a very long job. Charges fairly quickly but would be ideal if it had two batteries or a bigger battery.

This is an excellent combo for cleaning up around the yard. As with any of this Dewalt 20V system, these don't disappoint. I'm especially impressed with the trimmer that does an amazing job around the yard. I wasn't sure that I'd like a battery operated trimmer, but I won't be going back to gas now. So much easier to manage!

Bought this kit a few weeks ago to replace my older Ryobi kit. This kit makes the Ryobi feel like a toy. The trimmer is extremely powerful with almost as much power as my old gas power trimmer. The blower moves a lot of air and therefore will clear a lot of debris fast. I only gave it a 3 star rating because of battery life. I don't have a large property and the 4Ah battery that comes with the kit doesn't last long enough. The kit should have come with at least a 5Ah battery; even if I had to pay a few dollars more. My old Ryobi kit gave me more than enough time to finish the job. This kit's components are great but as a kit, someone should have done more testing with average households! This seems to be a common complaint as I read through other reviews.

I purchase a trimer more than a month ago I used it right away and it work good for 10 mins or so then it started to blow smoke I let it rest then finish the job with the machine once again on smoke. I called DEWALT to complain about it and with no hesitation they send me a new one, as I started to use the second trimer it would turn off every 3 seconds right away then 5 mins in to using it smoke started to come out.

The trimmer works well. Battery provided does not Finnish my yard. Would recommend a 2nd battery.

Very pleased with both products to date.I was already thinking about purchasing a 2 nd battery but the one it came with is more than sufficient for my lawn.Highly recommend.

Absolutely the worst Dewalt product I have ever purchased. Blew through 2 fully charged batteries and one 1/2 charged. Fortunately, Home Depot stands behind their return policy.

Amazing products. More than enough power for the residential trimming I'm doing around my house and camp. The blower has plenty of power as well and works well to blow clippings off the driveway etc. Far superior to the Stihl gas powered weed Wacker I had previous to purchasing this. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to switch to battery.

Blower is okay, but fairly weak IMO. Weed eater is strong but the head attachment is absolute trash. Had to replace it with a Husqvarna head because the DeWalt factory head wouldn't feed from the start and broke completely on the third use. Don't waste your money with this electric trash. Get gas powered.

A bit pricy but loved it

This trimmer is not designed for anyone who needs to trim more than 20’ per year. DeWalt does not sell a spool of replacement line you can just pop in and go. You have to cut lengths from a big ball of replacement line and then manually wind them into the head of the trimmer. This takes more time than actually doing the trimming…. Oh, and the big hall of line they sell for refilling the spool in the trimmer dries out in less than a year and then it breaks

Everything is awesome. The battery come with 4 AH don't keep the charge very long.The 20V/60V MAX FLEXVOLT Lithium-lon Premium 6Ah Battery it is much better.

Trimmer works amazing, haven't used the blower yet.
