It is really good at drilling clean holes in wood, so giving it 5 starts there. It isn't very good for scratching your back, it leaves too many deep scratches, so it gets 2 starts as a back scratcher.

Seems product is not well balanced and the bits are not "straight" with a slivht wobble in the drill. Placed bits on glass and the wobble is evident in the bit. Milwaukee impact bits were worse because the bits are mounted in a hex base.

Good bits, however the points on the larger diameter bits could be a little better defined.

These Brad-Point Drill Bits did the job and more. Its speed, power and efficiency was outstanding. I'm a happy camper because of this product. Another excellent work from DeWalt!..

Good quality, no walking of the bit when you start drilling

I tried really hard to grab it and keep it not spinning in my drill with no success. wish there's hex version.

I am a big DEWALT fan ... my Cordless and Corded drills are DEWALT. This set was purchased for one specific reason, one specific project ... making a Dremel Tool and Accessory Box to neatly and efficiently accommodate the various bits and attachments I use. The main Brad Bit I needed was the 1/8", which is the size of the Dremel Accessory Shanks. I was using a Drill Block in order to drill straight holes therefore there was no side-to-side pressure on the Bit. The 1/8" DEWALT Brad Bit broke after three (3) ... and I was drilling into soft wood. That Bit should have been able to drill hundreds of 1/8" X 1 1/2" holes without a problem. I ended up using a regular 1/8" Bit but in truth the Brad would have been more precise. Disappointed.

Worked as expected.

I've only used the 5/16" bit so far to make holes for dowel pins but the bit is sharp and makes clean holes in the red oak I am working with.

Brad-point drill bits are the best type of drill bit for positively locating holes for dowels. I am restoring an antique three legged table for my wife. It was originally constructed with dowel joinery. I removed all of the original dowels which were loose or broken and reconstructed the piece with new dowels. It turned out pretty well. I am glad that I bought this set.

The brad bit allowed centering at the hole location. The drilling of the hole was smooth. On poplar wood I have started seeing some fraying at the exit having drilled 60 holes with the 1/2" bit. I am not sure if it blunting of the bit or quality of the wood.
