I had mine for almost two years now and still going like new! The sound it's soo clear and the bass soo deep and powerful!!

I saw my friend had this radio at a jobsite and fell in love right away. I loved the loud sound and the design of it. I bought it 2 weeks after and all i can say is, this thing rocks! I will definetely recommend it

I bought mine a week ago today, used it once indoors at my house, and twice on the job site, made it maybe two hours into the third time using it and the subwoofer blew, volume was at 4, the equalizer was set at 3-5-5 at the indoor setting, returned it today and got a new one so hopefully this one works out better. Can someone explain how version one was more reliable than 2.0. I do love what they did with the battery charger and phone dock area, That was a huge improvement but doesn’t matter if you can’t use it

Radio works and sounds really good

I haven't had a portable boombox that possessed a quality sound like this since the one I had when I was a teen in the 80s trying to brake dance. That radio I had than, was three times the size, but I believe this radio is even louder. When it comes to all the different levels of bass, you get the best quality possible from a devices this size. This gives more base than some base speakers, for it's size. On most devices, you really don't here all the elements in a song. This devices gives you the clarity and base, to hear the song as it was really intended.

I purchased this on Friday had it playing for about 1 hour started making a awful sound in the speakers. Boxed it back up and returned to Home Depot. Yes hey gave me a replacement. Now about 10 hours later this one does the same thing. Bought this as I thought it would work well :-( disappointing

Awesome speaker!!

I bought the new 2.0 to match my other toughsystem cases and rack and to use the flex battery. Once I tried to slide it onto my rack, I found that it was loose ad would not lock. I was disappointed but was going to live with it until I tried to mount my portable power station to the top and it would not line up (there is an area for the feet of other units to insert, but the width is too narrow). Now I can’t lock the radio to the rack and can’t connect any other cases to the top. Radio is OK (haven’t tried it outside my house) and Bluetooth sounds very good.

Another solid product from Dewalt. This radio doesn't disappoint at ALL. If you like having good sound quality on your jobsite this is the radio to buy. The sounds is clear and the bass is great! You do have to find the sweet spot with the EQ! I'm running a 4ah battery in it. It seems like I can get 2 days out of it at half volume or less.

Title says it all. I emailed dewalt told me nothing can be done because of warranty

Pretty typical for this product, $200 for a radio and the subwoofer blew after just a few hours of use. Lots of rattling I don't even use it anymore, waste of $200, common dewalt!!!

I have returned three of these all within a day subwoofer starts going bad

I have had both of these tough system radios. The original with the yellow top was a work horse and sounded great at the same time. I decided to upgrade ( or so I thought) to the 2.0 system. Didn't last me two weeks till the speaker blew. Went and got a replacement and had the same issue. I do like the set up of the radio with all the features and the app was a bonus. I just ordered a Kicker 4" speaker and replaced the factory speaker and it's been great ever since.

I got this radio around Christmas and I was in love till just the other day...the speaker is blown and now I need to have it fixed..I was the envy of all my coworkers

Worst. I liked this radio a lot at first. Sound was great. Fast charging. However the first one I had failed. It was the sub that went out. Return was ok I guess to my local home depot. I ordered a new one from the online store. It has also failed. Lots wrong on it this time. The radio just stops.... the sub is loose and just raddling around in there. If you get your phone too close to the unit it will start wiggling out. I'm horribly disappointed in the $250 loss...

Lasted 2 weeks and sounds like woofers are shot. I did not listen loud neither

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this radio two weeks ago. So far, radio sounds great and immediately connects to my phones blue tooth. Only issue is I bought newer batteries for my tools and they will not fit in the back to charge. Only negative thus far.

I had mine for one day and the sub-woofer went out So i took it back

Sound is good when volume working but just quits putting out and have to turn off then back on to hear music plus makes popping noise at times.

Had problems since first day. Radio cuts out, pops and will even shut off for no reason.

Radio doesn’t lock into the tough system. Subwoofer stopped working after a few months. Bluetooth drops constantly and you’re forced to use the auxiliary cable (not included). Horrible. Nice try Dewalt.We need a do-over.

I was hoping for the tough system for stackability and compact look instead of having another radio bouncing around the truck. Extremely disappointed.

Two major issues. First is the bass speaker going bad way too fast, now it just crackles. second is the software or electrical parts. It will simply stop playing sound but still be functioning. The radio itself is a nice upgrade, now you can use the flexvolt batteries and the touchscreen is nice.
