This has got to be one of the best values at Home Depot! I know there are a lot of serious woodworkers who insist on high-end chisels costing over $100 each, but these chisels are comfortable to hold, made of high-grade steel, and keep an exceptional blade edge for a fraction of the cost. I sharpen mine before each project (as you should with any chisel), just using an inexpensive set of stones, and they work perfectly! I have used them on red oak, walnut, sycamore, and Douglas fir, and they have pared and shaved the wood smoothly and easily. There is no need to waste money on "fine woodworking" chisels when these work just as well!

Good set for the “here or there” Use

Installing a lock. Needed a medium and narrow chisel. this set worked perfectly. Nice and sharp.

Impressed by DeWalt’s quality evidenced in these chisels and especially at their inexpensive price point. A perfect set of 4 chisels for your tool bag.

Test cut indicated they will need an edge however it cut well just off the rack

not only exceeded my expectation it cut right through. well made and havin all 4 types made my door handle installation job a pice of cake

The only chisel set available at my store. They work well, the packaging however is overkill. Pretty sure half the cost of the set went into over engineering the package

Return during to quality of machining of the actual of the tools themselves. Had pitching and gaps on the cutting edges before even getting them out of the packaging. So didn't remove them and returned to store the next day.

These are great chisels and very comfortable to use. It is nice that they have a metal plate on the back which is easy to hammer when additional force is needed.

They are some great and durable chisels, perfect for my wood working shop. the only thing I dislike about all new chisels is you have to sharpen them.
