I'm a fan of the new three (3) flute design. Cuts through pine with little effort. Gives great control while following the template. I would imagine trimming Formica tops. Packaging says it can be used to work Corian® Counter tops.

Needed this to flush trim 1/2" and 1/4" plywood on the walls around window and door openings. This bit cuts through the plywood like a champ. Nice clean, smooth cuts. No burning as of yet.

Man, cut through the 1/4" laminate like it was butter! I had to take a second look to make sure I had the router up to the edge.
Both pieces were cut like they were one, extremely smooth edge.
