They did not meet my requirements, for the job I was trying to do. They are being returned.

These bits make the job easy and fast.

If you're looking to tear, rip, gouge a hole in a piece of wood, this bit is perfect. If you're trying to drill a clean hole in wood, these suck. The screw tip pulls the bit through the wood way too quickly and aggressively leaving a mangled mess in it's wake.

I went in to buy one drill bit. For about $8. This whole set was on sale for $12. Just like how Diablo saw blades will turn a crappy table saw or any battery powered saw into a real tool, these bits went through landscape timbers, 2x and 4x pine and cedar like a hot poker through butter. In fact I have never used a spade bit that bores this easy. No brainer for the sale, or everyday.

Work as expected, pleswd with performance

I bought this to drill a hole on a door panel. It worked well. Since this is a one time job, I can't comment on the durability.

These work great for a project that I was working on

I purchased this set of spade bits as a "Special Purchase" discounted price at Home Depot. The initial product photo that comes up when you search for spade drill bits shows the bonus bits as being the same size as the largest bit in the set which is 1 inch. The bonus bits included in the set are actually 9/16in and 11/16in. The subsequent website product photos correctly show the smaller bits in the package. This is not a deal breaker but I feel that the error should be corrected. I purchased the spade bits to drill holes in a piece of maple but I found that the lead in screw portion of the bit advanced the bit too quickly which caused the bit to bind and become seized in the hardwood. I was able to figure out a work around by progressively advancing and reversing the drill. I feel that these bits would perform beautifully in dry pine, spruce or cedar. The special purchase set is a fantastic value.

Good blades for the 1/4 inch impact. Seem to be quality. Store couldn’t find them so I ordered online free delivery so that’s nice

I got this set, only needing one of them, but it’s a very nice little set. I would like to find a case that fits them. Would definitely recommend.

Don’t like the product. It gets stuck half way of the drill and creates a mess in the hole. Rather than making a clean perforation, it damaged the material.

What can you say? They work.

Break and bend easily, I don't recommend .

I have always liked Diablo tools and would recommend them to anyone and everyone who works with wood
