This dado blade really cuts smoothly. I have to say it exceeded my expectations. I went with the more expensive Diablo because I wanted high quality, and this blade delivered it. I'm very happy with the performance, and they did include various sized shims to get the perfect cut.

Wow these blades are amazing. Super clean, even dado cuts every time. Absolutely beats double passing the wood to cut dados.

The dado set is adequate for most applications. The teeth are a bit uneven and leave some small groves. Some sanding or chiseling is needed. Overall it is a good blade set for the price.

While on the surface it would apper this product is great. However, this product's ourside diameter was a good bit more than the 8" which caused my Saw Stop with skin sensitive break to activate. The blade was brand new and the saw stop electronic safety break was brand new. The diameter touched the break and caused it to jam the blade and destroy the break. The one star is for the failure to hold the true diameter and thus cost me $100 to relace the saw stop safety break and also damage the Diablo dado blade set. Nothing at all wrong with Home Depot where I bought the blade.

I don’t like that I cannot cut an 1/8” dado, the fact that there isn’t a 1/8” chipper and many sizes require spacers instead of the before mentioned 1/8” chipper. Had I knew that I would have purchased a different set..

It stands up to the Diablo Name, they are the brand I look for when I buy any cutting blade. Has given me precise & clean cuts so far and believe it will continue to do so.

Great product, easy to setup and comes with the ability to adjust dado widths to a high precision. Was able to get 3/4 in cuts a little heavy by using spacers. Would recommend.

Bought this at a "big box" store to use for a number of projects. I've used it over the past 3 months about 20-25 times unless you count the number of times I've had to "adjust my cuts" because of the limited instructions or tiny print. If you count those then it is closer to 100. I like the blade and it works great but better instructions and a larger set up guide would have garnered a 5 star. I will share what I finally did which made using this easier. I took a scrap board and made it into a "demo board" with the majority of the cuts I use frequently cut into the board and then labeled with which cutters and shims I used to achieve those cuts. I can then use that board to confirm the fit on the piece I will be mating to it. Think of it as a story board for the dado set. Works well for me and makes for a much faster setup. Once you get the correct setup this dado set works really well with clean cuts and a pretty good bottom cut. It's not perfect but for the price it is better than expected.

It is difficult these days to find a product NOT "made in China" but Diablo blades are a quality find that satisfies the search. This is the third blade I bought of theirs. All my saws now have Diablo blades. I recommend them to anyone needing a reliable, clean cutting, long lasting saw blade.

The sides of the cut are clean but the bottom of the cut is nowhere near flat when using the chippers.

The dado set performed perfectly and it leaves a fairly smooth bottom. The setup is straightforward and easy. The packaging is plastic and while it does keep the set together, it leaves the blades exposed and is not adequate long term.

I was desperate to finish a project so I paid twice the price ($100) at Home Depot for the Diablo dado stack.

I purchased this blade set today when I found that my Craftsman Excalibur adjustable dado blade would not fit on the arbor of my newer Delta 10" portable table saw. After setting up the blade to cut 3/4" dados I can report that the blade does an excellent job. I made trial cuts in 3/4" pine and the fit is perfect. My only negative comment is that the instructions that explain how to "stack" the blades, chippers, and spacers, are printed on the back of the paper sheet that comes on top of the blades. The printed instructions are in very small type and include no illustrations whatsoever, only text. I would have expected better instructions for a blade that costs $100. I would not be surprised if some purchasers might discard the paper sheet without realizing that the instructions are printed on the back side.
