I dont understand the positive reviews or i have a defective unit. Getting this thing fired up is a mammoth and dangerous affair, and after its first use started having a vicious vibration. I called support and got an individuals voice mail which does not strike confidence in the backing of this product. Im fearful ive thrown nearly $2,000 down the drain.

Works great, heavy duty. But it’s a workout to use. Definitely is best to own one. Do not rent this type. You will be sore trying to rush and get everything done. It happened to me 10 years ago. Now I feel a whole lot better owning my unit.

The unit was fairly easy to assemble. It cranked on the second pull and runs great! I was impressed by how fast it made sawdust out of a huge oak stump. My only complaint is that the kick stand needs an improvement so that it can be removed while the engine is running.

Great grinder, nice price. Works so much better than I expected. Chewed through all the stumps I put in front of it.

IT WORKS VERY GOOD AND I HAVE NO TROUBLE

All the bolts were loose . I had to go over and tighten everything up. Piece fell off muffler after 5 minutes of work. It performs perfectly after all this .

Nice compact stump grinder. Started right up after minor assembly, along with adding oil and gas. It turned out easier to use than I thought, although it can provide a bit of an upper-body workout. Shipped with a whole extra set of cutters.

This is a great piece of equipment. We are glad we bought it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I wish it had a clutch. If you go nice and steady it will pulverize any stump you put in front of it.

The machine works good so far. No break for one wheel. Kind of a pain to start while holding up the front while trying to pull start.

Works great but it's too heavy from the handle side. Should have a foot pedal to push down on on the back

The machine works well good engine that starts every time but the teeth are forged from china, they will not fit perfect to the new machine that you just bought. They sell all the replacement teeth to you which did not fit on the new machine that you bought.

Very powerful and efficient machine absolutely the best

This machine exceeded my expectations. I have ground over 20 stumps, with only a small nick on one of the teeth. The only downfall would be the wheel system, fixed wheels with bearings would make it easier to manuver.

No problems at all use it alot

The DK2 is heavy, but powerful so it requires a tow vehicle to move very far (ATV for me). It does a good job of removing stumps with the biggest problem being that you can’t see where the cutters and stump are. I’ve removed lots o smaller stump so far and I’m starting on some 3 to 4 foot diameter stumps. A wheel brake would make it better.

The unit works well, here it comes but the customer service part needs work. Missing a few parts called the number no response. Had issue with starting it, called another number no response. Both 3 weeks and waiting. I took care of both myself.

Parts missing and no customer support

After purchasing and receiving the stump grinders a month ago, I have yet to be able to use it. The equipment was shipped without the handle to tight it the bar for use and transport. DK has yet to ship or provide any real feedback on estimating the items being shipped. I would be great to hear from Home Depot on this quality control issue, since the extended warranty was purchased with this equipment.

Serious stumpeater! Very aggressive cutting power. Be advised it is heavy to move around work area.

i was so excited to buy my first stump grinder to start a little business in high school. Ive had the stump grinder for about 8 months and i have had nothing but probllems with it. First thing that happened was i waited 2 months to get it and it arrived at the store crushed i never got any discount or credit. Then they replaced the order again i waited another month for it to arrive and i put it together and used it for about an hour until the teeth came breaking off. ive watched plenty of videos on how to properly grind so i did so. Then i got a new set of teeth thinking it was a malfunction no biggie little did i know there goes the 2nd set of teeth i bought the bolds from dk power and they keep breaking. I put around 20 hours total on the machine and then the throttle breaks out of no where. I would not recommend this product unless you want a hassle.

I put it all together and it would not start it had the right amount of oil i took back to home depot they could not get it started so i returned it.
