Very easy to use and roll out. Overall seems like a good product. They give you more than enough tape to adhere the sheets together. So don’t worry about running out. You can also still walk on it after your done laying it out. Very durable.

Layed it in my basement on concrete, before installing waterproof, luxery vinyl wood planks. The rolls of underlayment come with provided tape for seaming. I have quite a bit of knowledge when it comes to construction and I will have to admit that it was worthless when it came to laying this stuff. Anyone with a kindergarden education could lay, cut and seam this stuff. Its a quality product. It went down nice.....

I researched this product extensively and found it to be everything I needed. Installation was easy and the results were fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone putting in LVT in a basement.

I used this underlayment on a concrete basement floor. It was great to work with. It was easy to lay and seam together. It feels good under your feet. Easy to cut and it really helps to level a slightly uneven floor. I used the spacers in two spots and they work well.

I use this product for all of my clients flooring projects who have problems with moisture/mold and cold concrete floors. It’s the only product I’ve found that can reliably prevent mold growth by letting the subfloor breathe, the dimples are strong and do not budge. The foam on the bottom keeps the noise down and warms the floor. The shims and tape that come with the roll make it very easy to use as I don’t have to buy other products for install. Would recommend it to any contractor or DIY’er looking for a reliable subfloor that prevents Mold growth and helps make the floor feel warmer.

This worked out perfect for my project. Rolled out of a cement floor for basement room. Came with tape and shims. Should significantly help insulate the cold cement from the floor

Used this product on a basement concrete floor. It was better than expected and will allow the concrete to have air movement mitigating moisture. Easy to install and it came with tape. We did not use the interlocking devices (did not need it). Happy with the results.

The product was easy to use and the LVP installation on top of it went smoothly.

Eàsy to cut and roll out. Ebd of rolls can cup up so roll in opposite direction. Any raised sections are typically weighed down with the flooring but I used the flooring boxing to weigh down the edges before I was ready to install. This comes with plenty of tape. Remember to leave gaps at edges of flooring/wall if you want it to breathe (basement applications). The floor doesn't feel bouncy with this product and its pretty sturdy as a floating floor. Product is 3/16" thick.

Horrible to unroll, cuts like a nightmare... Takes forever to settle, will not lay flat. Bubbles up constantly and unlocks planks. Would never purchase again.

Installed fairly easily. Hopefully it works to prevent moisture and mildew. The curl of the roll makes it difficult to lay out and measure accurately, but that’s the only negative so far

I actually used this as an underlay for my above ground pool. Worked amazing to insure the pool bottom didn't get damaged

Great product for putting down a floor over a concrete slab. I used this for a office in a garage with a mono slab that had no insulation. Kept the vynil plank much warmer than the concrete when heat was on.

Dance floor under laminate, on concrete in a basement. DMX 2.0 has less deflection under stress.

Easy to install. No extra tape required. The amount that comes with the roll is more than enough.

Very easy to install and cut with sharp knife. So far feels like it will create a decent thermal break. Will update after i install the flooring.

We installed dmx 1-step in area of 700 sqf in our basement with lifeproof vinyl floor and turned out awesome. Installing Dmx underlayment was pretty easy. We checked the level of our concrete floor before hand and everything was level! It’s been 3 months since we installed it and no problems so far. We are very happy with it! Floor feels warmer and also gives an extra cushion underneath the feet.

Finally a product that works! I installed DMX 1-Step 2.0 with Lifeproof vinyl 6.5mm in my basement. I bought this underlayment because the HD associate recommended it, and he told me that the air gap will evaporate moisture coming though my slab. I have always had a lot of moisture coming through the slab since we bought the house, and I have tried everything from the basic poly underlayment, to the dricore 2 by 2 panels, but they never lasted! With 1-Step 2.0, the install is now done, and I am so happy, because I immediately feel a difference in the warmth of the floors. Not to mention that is also quite pleasant to walk on. My kids typically wouldn't to play in the basement in the past because of the cold, but seeing them run around the basement without even wearing socks made the whole install worth it! I will update if anything changes, but based on how the product felt in my hands, and insight from the HD associate, I don't imagine that the underlayment will have issues down the line. Installation was easy. I made all cuts with sheet metal shears. The box included the needed seam tape.

I just got done ripping 400 square feet of this stuff out of my basement. I had it under laminate, and it worked pretty great until I had a surprise water issue sligtly deeper than the underlayment. Even with airflow and a dehumidifier my floor was destroyed. I don’t blame this stuff for that — it wasnt designed to handle an inch of water — BUT the fact that every little blue dimple held water right up against the bottom of my floor made the damage even worse than it needed to be. This is a flaw that could have been anticipated.

I stumbled upon DMX 1 Step while researching vapor barriers on YouTube. I am installing 3/4" plywood over DMX 1 Step on a concrete slab and finishing it off with Lifeproof laminate flooring from Home Depot. I think anyone with basic skills can install this product. It is soft and flexible, yet durable and cuts easily with razor knife or scissors. I am already noticing a big difference as far as floor warmth. I am using Tapcon screws to fasten plywood down to concrete and had a problem with the screws not holding, after consulting with Tapcon tech support, they determined that I was using too long of a screw and recommended using 2 1/4" screws for my application and using a countersink drill bit. After I followed their recommendations, I had no problems. I see no downside to using DMX 1 Step and will definitely recommend it to anyone. The vapor tape was they sell for DMX is expensive at about $10.00 per roll, each roll only covers 100 square feet. It looks like clear packaging tape to me so, do some research on the tape, you might save some money using packaging tape instead. Overall, great product. I'm glad I chose DMX 1 Step.

Very good product. I have used this product under two types of flooring so far. I laid it, filled the top with thinset, then troweled a one inch thick pebblestone floor over the top for the first room. Next time I will not bother with the thinset for a pebblestone floor. In the second room I laid a carpet pad and carpet over the underlayment. Might be the softest floor I have ever walked on. I have a large area I need more protection than the 3/8 inch you get from one layer, so I am planning to thinset and put down a second layer. I tested a small area and that seemed to work well. I also tested the product with the epoxies I use for pebblestone floors and got no reaction. Tuff stuff.
