When I ordered these wheels I didn't really think that much about it. They seemed nice, maybe a little more so than normal. However, when I opened up the box and actually checked out these wheels I was pretty amazed at the quality I found in them. The sealed wheels roll very freely. The whole thing feels very solid in the hand. I completely recommend these as an upgrade to standard garage door wheels.

The sound of SMOOTH! We replaced the builder-grade rollers on our track-style garage door with these impressively designed and quality constructed rollers. Durable sealed/caged bearings and triple-coated black-oxide stems are a significant upgrade… you can hear the difference! Aside from the manufacturer installation instructions (including safety warnings), a drill and Philips screwdriver, DIY’ers can benefit from YouTube videos demonstrating safe replacement.

The DURA-LIFT Titan Premium 2 in. Sealed Nylon Garage Door Roller with 4 in. Corrosion Resistant Stem (12-Pack) is a great replacement roller kit for old, noisy or broken garage door rollers. The DURA-LIFT Titan roller features a 2 in. nylon wheel, a durable protective front and rear covering, and a triple-coated black-oxide 4 in. stem. This product is perfect for garage door repair and maintenance. I am using these to replace the loud metal ones that are on my old existing door. These are much quieter and smoother rolling. They look good too. Installation is pretty straightforward and may take time to complete depending on your DIY skills. I would definitely recommend these.

Very high quality and smooth garage door rollers. I picked these up to replace all of my rollers on my garage door. I have no idea how old the rollers were on the door, but they're at least 20 years old. They squeeked and squealed constantly. The bearings weren't sealed and lubricating them only lasted a couple of months before they were squealing again. These new bearings are sealed and the shafts are painted to reduce wear. They're smooth polyethylene wheels roll easily and not a squeek. Much needed upgrade.

I got these to replace an old set of squeaking rollers and they work very well. The nylon keeps the rollers moving easily and without noise. These really quiet a door and make a big difference when opening and closing. I also like the corrosion resistance as we live in an area with harsh weather. Hopefully these will last a good long time and keep the door quiet!

I got these replacement garage door rollers to replace the old, squeaky rollers on my garage door. Installation was straightforward and only took about an hour. You simply remove the track from the wall, slide the old roller out and slide the new roller in. Then replace the track. The rollers are well built and have a dust cover to keep dirt and debris out of the bearings. The nylon wheel runs smoothly and quietly in the steel track.

Oh, the reduced roller clatter is heaven and all I hear is the door opener hum! After several roller failures and the increasing racket, it was time for the old steel rollers to go ... despite annual maintenance, dust from woodworking helped chew up and fail the steel rollers. A close side-by-side comparison (see photos) shows the old style was doomed to fail - slop in the bearings meant a 5 degree wobble was present from the start and the lack of dust covers let grit in to accelerate their demise. These Dura-Lift Rollers are quiet, have dusts covers front & back, have a corrosion resistant coating on the stems, and have no slop in the stem. In short, EXCELLENT and they should last a long time. I highly recommend this product.

So anyone wanting a quieter garage door, nylon door rollers are a must have. You will be very pleasantly surprised at the decrease in noise after installing these. Installation is not very difficult, if you are a handy type of person. If you are not, it is likely a job left to a professional. Look up instructions online, being very careful to learn what not to do. It is very possible to install incorrectly and have the door and/or it's springs catastrophically fail while installing, resulting in injury or worse. Look it up, do your homework. But yeah, huge difference in noise. Going a step further, changing the opener to a belt drive model makes it even quieter.

DURA-LIFT makes garage door hardware and installation kits. This kit consists of twelve garage door replacement rollers. These rollers are 2” nylon, dual caged, sealed bearings. The bearings are smooth rolling. The shafts are triple coated black oxide. This repair kit is also a nice upgrade for noisy doors with metal rollers because it comes with the quieter ball bearing nylon rollers.

I ordered these to replace some older, noisy rollers that I have on my current garage door. When i opened the box, i could tell immediately how well made these were. The roller wheels are made of a strong nylon material as opposed to the metal type that typically come with garage doors. This material should make for a much quieter movement when opening. I haven’t installed these yet, but they are not different to install as any other type. I would definitely recommend these.

The sealed nylon garage door roller turns very smoothly because of the ball bearing. Unlike metal wheels, the nylon wheel construction contributes to very quiet operation. The four-inch stem is black-oxide coated. The coating feels solid and high quality. It is very easy to install. The ball bearing is sealed so dust will not get in, making it long-lasting. Overall quality is high. It was built with great precision.

Just what the Dr ordered. These have a large diameter roller bearings rather than the usual plastic wheel on a shaft with no real bearing. My shop has larger 10 x 8 ft (5 section) doors that are heavy and since one of them was rarely used by the prior owner, the rollers got stiff and makes the door much harder to lift. Tried lubricating the 10 year old rollers but that didn't help enough. Changing to these new rollers was easy (except for the bottom row) and they made a world of difference.

These sealed garage door rollers are a great way to improve and quiet the operation of roll-up garage doors that are getting older. Ours is 31 years old and the original open bearing rollers were worn and squeaky. I'd oiled them only onetime in 31 years so sealed rollers seems like a much better way to eliminate that odd item of maintenance. The 12-pack is just the right number to replace all the rollers in our 8-foot high, 5-panel door. Installation is pretty easy for most rollers - just unbolt the roller brackets one at a time and replace te rollers. The only places that required more concern were the top and bottom rollers on each side. The top one presses the door top into the frame when it closes fully, so it helps to run the door up a couple inches to free that pressure before unbolting the bracket. The bottom bracket on our door is also the connection for the cable that lifts the door. With care to keep slight tension on the cable I was able to replace the bottom rollers, one at a time. If tension gets released on the cable it can unwind from the cone spool and be a pain to get back in place.

I ordered the Dura-lift Titan premium 2 inch sealed nylon garage door rollers with 4 inch corrosion resistant stems. They came in a 12-pack. The rollers look really well made and feel heavy duty. Our garage rollers were starting to wear down from heavy use and their age. I feel like these will last a lot longer. The wheels are made of nylon. The stems are corrosion resistant with black oxide coating. The bearings are dual-caged and sealed from both sides to prevent dust and elements from entering. I'm happy with this order.

These high quality door rollers are easy to DIY change out, as long as you know how. I selected this set of rollers to replace those on a single 7 foot tall double door that is about 20 years old. 7 foot tall doors require 10 rollers, 8 foot tall garage doors require 12 rollers. I went with the 12 roller set to have two extra to replace the bottom rollers that tend to wear out sooner than the other ones. They worked out great and they are very smooth and quite. There are plenty of helpful videos available that show two basic methods to replace the rollers. FIRST, NOTE THIS DOOR HAS TENSION SPRINGS. (see spring photo over top of door)THE BOTTOM TWO ROLLER MOUNTING BRACKETS ARE UNDER TENSION. (see photo). If you have no experience changing out rollers you should consider hiring a garage door professional to change the two bottom rollers. Method No.1 is to remove each roller bracket change the roller then replace the bracket. Method No1. should only be used on the top 4 rollers on each side. Method No.2. If you are handy with tools and want to try a quicker method bend the vertical garage door track slightly outward about 6" below the seam where the vertical track joins the curved track. (I use a large crescent wrench). Then you can slip a roller out of the track in that spot and replace it. After your bottom 4 rollers are replaced you bend the track back into place. You then remove the mounting bracket on the top roller and change it out replacing the roller. NOTE If you use chose Method 2 you should check out some videos from garage door professionals. I have provided some photos, I hope they help.

I received my twelve-pack of Titan garage door rollers; they have a four-inch stem and two-inch nylon wheels which should last a long time. The rollers are sealed on both sides of the bearings, and the stem is finished in a triple-coated black-oxide finish. They come with high-quality bearings that are rated for 250,00 door open and close cycles. Overall, these are easy to install high-quality quiet garage door rollers.

The dura lift titan premium 2" sealed nylon garage door roller with 4" corrosion resistant stem are very high end and extremely well engineered and crafted. The wheels spin very smoothly and freely. They are very easy to install or switch out your existing hardware on your door, very diy friendly. These wheels will help make your garage door operate more smoothly and quieter. The surface of the wheels provide less friction then the metal ones most garage doors come with so its a very nice upgrade.

Been having a few issues with my garage door as of late. While I had it out of service for spring replacement, I decided I would tackle swapping the rollers. (Wait till your spring is fixed and this will make the process much easier.) Overall this took me about 45 minutes to do all my rollers, after the first few it gets to be a quick task. Be careful of course as its a heavy door and you want to be safe. The DuraLift titan premium were a quick swap for me, and they seem to run much quieter on my door. I use my garage as the main entrance to my house, so having this behave smoothly for many more years to come is great. The build quality seems to be top of the line. Even in my hand the rollers spin silently and quickly.

These are the top-of-the-line garage door rollers. They have ball bearing 2-inch nylon wheels and the ball bearing is sealed on both the inside and outside to prevent water or dirt from entering the bearing. They have triple coated black-oxide corrosion resistant 4-inch stems. These rollers will stand up to the harshest weather conditions and are recommended for wet locations where the door and rollers are subjected to wet conditions like a car wash garage door. Or you can just buy these and probably never have to change the rollers ever again! I changed out my old steel wheel rollers, and nylon wheels are so much quieter. I can’t hear it in the house when the door is opened. Always unplug any garage door opener, and disengage the door from the opener by pulling the red release cord prior to working on a garage door. It is very important to release the door since some openers have battery backups and may still work even when unplugged. You don’t want anyone inadvertently activating the opener while the door is being worked on. When changing rollers, NEVER EVER remove the screws on the bottom roller plate (The roller at the bottom of the door). This plate is not hinged, and has the cable attached to it and is under extreme spring tension. You can remove any of the other hinges one at a time to replace the rollers but NOT the bottom one. For the bottom roller, raise the door to release the tension on the springs and cables, then with a pair of pliers gently bend open the metal track just under where the track and the top curved section meet. Gently pull the roller out of the track, slide out the old roller and slip in a new one. Push the roller wheel back into the track and bend the metal track back to its original shape. Inspect all of the roller’s hinges for cracks. I had a few that had developed cracks and needed replacement (See Photos). A typical 7-foot garage door will have 5 rollers on each side for a total of 10 rollers. An 8-foot door will have 6 rollers each side for a total of 12 rollers. The hinges are graduated hinges that are numbered 1, 2, and 3 starting with #1 at the bottom hinge (Not the bottom plate), and #3 hinge at the top under the top roller and adjustment bracket. They must be returned to their proper locations. They have a 100% lifetime guarantee. If a roller fails, they will send you a new replacement roller.

We built our house a few years ago and tried to make it as quiet as possible. We specified a belt drive opener and nylon rollers and we got both but over the past couple of years the door has gotten noisier and creakier. We lubricate the hinges and roller with Lithium garage door grease regularly but the noise returns quickly. These rollers look like the real deal. The are nylon, like roller skate wheels, have sealed bearings so the wheel will spin despite the shaft lubrication condition. They installed easily and work great so far! Only thing to note is I received 13 in my 12 pack! Please do a little research before you replace the lowest wheels so you don't ruin your door or hurt yourself or others!

The DURA-LIFT Titan Premium 2 in. Sealed Nylon Garage Door Roller with 4 in. Corrosion Resistant Stem (12-Pack) are just what was required to finally quieten my garage door! The door is less than 5 years old and the rollers that came with the door were the old school metal type of rollers. I replaced them with these nylon type and my door is now whisper quiet. The rollers were super easy to install, I just replaced them one at a time. There were no instructions in the box but I don't think they are needed. I do think there does need to be some sort of caution note on replacing the bottom roller because the bottom roller is the one with the tension. Overall I can highly recommend these rollers!

These nylon rollers are nice and quiet. They were easy to replace, and found at least 4 bad rollers that were on the door.

Easy to install. Quality seems good. But I expected these to be quieter than the original worn out metal rollers but it is not much different. The low deliver rating is due to you selecting UPS as the carrier. They held the package up for over a week past the delivery date even after I called their customer service three times. Their customer service is poor at best. Use Fed Ex next time

Good product!!!
They work great - I was a little worried that they might be larger than my old ones that measured smaller than 2" - but, they worked perfectly.
