This is the best purchased I have ever made. It fits perfectly on my countertop and works really well. The dishes come clean like a traditional dishwasher. The glasses are sparkling and the silver are even clean even with food caked on. This is a great buy and worth every cent!!

After some research, I selected this product and I haven't been disappointed. It recently arrived and I had a chance to run the first load through it. It cleans thoroughly and is quieter than I expected. Set up was very easy in that it was impossible to put the wrong hose (input or discharge) on the back of the dishwasher; each hose is of a different diameter with a different shaped fitting. The hose coupler that pops onto the faucet connector had a bit of a leak which is something I'll look into further in case I didn't install or secure it correctly. The different functions are very useful for handling the heaviest to the lightest loads you can put into the washer. Another plus for me was the interior of the washer is stainless steel compared to the plastic interiors you see on other washers. There's nothing about this product that's flimsy or delicate. It's robust and well constructed. My only complaint is that my product suffered some denting on the corner. It was obvious the company has done its best to make sure the product was well-packaged and protected but the corners of the product appear to be vulnerable. The dents are cosmetic though and not altogether noticeable. I still think the company could go further to improve it's packaging process.

I should have bought this years ago! It works great, fits a good amount of dishes, and has already saved me tons of time and effort, freeing me up to cook more (no dishes clogging up the kitchen needing to be dealt with first) and relax more.

I am a single person so I don't dirty a large amount of dishes but I have been very satisfied with the Danby countertop dishwasher. I put dishes and pans in and use the light wash. Everything comes out clean. Also I feel that the Danby is relative quiet running. Gave it a 4-star because I never give 5.

Great product for a disabled senior. But now I am at the end of the warranty period, the door is giving me problems to open and close. Very inconvenient, because now I have to start looking for a new one and it would not be a Danby.

I purchased this dishwasher a few years ago for my wife and it's never worked right. It's never properly cleaned the dishes and last week, I scrubbed the dishes with a scrubber sponge in hot water and then ran them through the dishwasher and they came out with grime on them that wasn't even there when I put them in. Dishes should not come out of a dishwasher dirtier than when they went in.

Great until it stopped working just after the 12 month warranty.

This model is very convenient for my usage. I just have two concerns. It has just been 2 days after buying and both the days after I started a normal cycle, it went and started blinking at the glassware indicator on top after 20 minutes of initiating the equipment. The water pressure and temperature was rechecked and found more than 45 degree Celsius. A raw method of tilting the equipment forward, allowing some soapy water to flow out and restarting it helped on both the days. This cannot be done every time though. Also, this model doesn't clean hollow utensils well. Rest is perfect!

See review below. I cannot use my dishwasher because I do not have the correct faucet adapter to hook up. Had a a bad leak and the super replaced the faucet adapter with another one that is not suitable for the dishwasher. I NEED TO GET A NEW FAUCET ADAPTER as I have not been able to use my dishwasher for 5 monthsl.

I was totally surprised at the size, and efficiency of this dishwasher. I had my doubts that something that small would work well. Takes a bit getting used to a) getting water hot before connecting the hose. b) turning off the water before disconnecting the hose from faucet (I only did that once and learned real fast at the pressure this machine has). It is a godsend for those with smallish kitchens and don’’t want to give up cabinate space - it is about the size of a microwave, only taller . I highly recommend this product. Happy i with clean dishes in Hawaii.

Can't fit a lot in it and huge design flaw in having the utensil holder too close to the soap dispenser. My dishes clean best when the utensil holder is removed. It took me a lot of trial and error to figure out why my dishes weren't getting clean & the soap was not dispensed. If you use the sections of the utensil holder close to the door, the soap dispenser will not open until you open the door yourself.

I'd write a 4.5 star review actually. Just a couple things. I wish i could find some kind of extension hose for it so i can put it in a different area, its quite annoying. Also sometimes it has errors like i put the water on too high or something so its hard to guess the right water pressure sometimes. Other then that it is pretty good.

After 5 years of frequent use my machine died and i liked it enough i bought the same one again

As a husband, it was my turn to do the dishes on the weekend. The Danby was worth every penny, freeing up my weekends for other more important tasks. I love it!

Won't take large plates and doesn't dry otherwise a good product

Only lasted about 18 months before something electronic broke. Danby customer care won't tell me what the error codes mean so I can have it repaired. So now it's just more ewaste for the landfill.

I had this unit for about 2 months before I got a drainage error for the first time the hoses were fine, nothing was clogged. It's now been about 8 months, and the drain pump is completely shot. Ive gotten the error about 4 times, and each time had to dump out and take apart the whole unit. Would NEVER buy again!

had a good run for 2 ish years, then randomly started not to drain all the way as of March 2021. Tried all the troubleshooting I could find online but no dice. Seems like a pump issue to me and It's not worth it to try and fix myself by purchasing a pump ( if that is even the issue ) or worth it to try and find a techintion. Overall great product that worked pretty good for 2 years.

I bought this dishwasher some months ago, the UPS guy who delivered it was impressed with it's size and plans to get one for himself. I am very satisfied with this little guy, it's much quieter than my previous and does a very good job, holds a good amount of dishes and is perfect for my studio apt. Very easy to set up.

I have purchased 6 of this model Dish Washer over the past 15 years. The price keeps going up and the quality goes down as the recent purchases don't last as long as the older models did.

I loved having this and can't believe it's only been a year. 14 months with the machine and now have the draining problems. I believe it's the drain pump, but the part doesn't seem to be available. I was hoping for at least 3 years out of it.

This is my second Danby dishwasher; I only retired the first one, after over 20 years of faithful service, because I could no longer find maintenance parts. But I'm not disappointed. This new unit performs at least as well, if not better, than the original, with more space for dishes and more cycle options. And don't forget the flexibility to wash pots and pans, not just place settings! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a small kitchen and no room for a standard built-in dishwasher.

I think the unit does a good job, other than initially trying to figure out the setup for dishes. It does dry it pretty well too. will recommend.

Wish it was a bit bigger. But an awesome reliable dishwasher.
