I recently moved home from college and decided to redo my room. Buying a new dresser was not a reasonable option so I decided to paint it. The color turned out great. It says you only need 1 coat but I did 2. And it only took 1 8oz container to do both coats! Definitely will be using this again for future projects.

I used this both on a bathroom cabinet as a quick update and also as a “whitewash” for my fireplace. In both instances this worked BEAUTIFULLY! It is a quick drying paint so don’t dilly-dally with it. Loved the results!!

This paint is awesome! Dries fast and some things need a second coat. The best part about this paint, is that it’s very forgiving. You can put a couple coats and it’ll freshen up anything or hide small blemishes!

This worked as well as the brand names and much cheaper. I liked it a lot. I used it to redo old coffee tables and couldn't believe the outcome. It goes on smoother and needed two coats, and maybe a third if you really don't want anything showing through but I still have 1/4 of the product left. Easy to distress and just a beautiful color.

Easy to apply. Dries fast, and does not have a toxic oder. Only wish they were sold in larger containers.

This was my first time using chalk paint and I was very pleased with the results and the color! It was very easy to paint with & and I'm looking forward to my next chalk paint project :)

I used to paint cardboard boxes for a small craft project for boxes under my Christmas tree. Two coats needed on lighter colored surfaces. Was very quick to dry, which made it a faster project. Definitely use a smooth brush, or even a mini-roller as will be streaky if your brush has any hard or rogue bristles.

I was looking for an easy way to cover my table without having to sand and stain. I happened upon this product on youtube and decided to give it a try. I was really happy with the outcome. The table came out looking so nice, I did the sideboard as well. I could not believe how easy this product was to use. You just need to paint it on. There was no prep other than giving the table a good cleaning with a mild detergent. It dried quickly, and was ready for a protective coat. I so luv this product I am going to do my coffee table and tv stand as well. :)

the paint is very thick. nice color. I bought the color vintage. painted my kitchen chairs in 2 coats and it covered it very nicely. going back to buy more.

I picked up my Chalk paint today, when I got home and opened it. The paint had leaked in the package all over the inside. Not very happy with Home Depot these days, especially their paint.

I love how this paint drys. It's very matte, but leaves a solid finish. I painted a bedside table to make it look "vintage" and "worn" and it came out awesome! I only used one coat which dried very fast!

I host a wine tasting party every year and try to come up with a fun creative way to mark the glasses. This year I used chalk paint on the lower half of 20 wine glasses. I put out chalk next to the glasses for everyone to write their name. At the end of the evening everyone was given the glass as a thank you for attending. Everyone LOVED them.

I love this color -- another one of my "go to" colors in this line. It is a color that will look different in different lighting, because it has aspects of grey, sage, and duck egg in the pigment. I tend to think of it more of a grey/blue with green undertones. It reminds me of Annie Sloan Duck Egg, but it is softer, which I prefer. If you wanted something closer to Duck Egg, perhaps mix in a bit of Treasure or Keepsake. I painted vintage dining chairs and used the Dark Wax to finish. I've also painted a set of candle holders and used a mixture of clear and dark wax on them to finish. Happy with both projects. These paints go on very nicely, very smooth, and have held up well on the chairs, which get lots of use in our breakfast nook.

This is one of my "go to" colors in the Americana line. It is a color that goes with so much. It looks great with the clear creme wax and with the dark wax, very versatile. The paint itself is easy to work with. After you've used some of the paint, you'll want to make sure it's the right consistency if it's sat around for awhile, because it will dry if stored. Just add a bit of purified water and stir, and add more until it's the consistency of heavy cream. We just picked up more of this color to paint a deconstructed chair. Already used it for a dresser that we painted in a combination of Primitive and Lace, and finished with the clear creme wax.

The paint was very easy to use and provided excellent coverage. The 8 oz. container was enough to do two coats on our project which was a previously unpainted chest. No primer was needed. Clean up was also easy. We have another project in mind and will certainly use this product again.

Beautiful color, goes on easy without sanding and distresses great

This chalk paint goes on smoothly, covers well and is exactly what I wanted. Can be thinned but, works best with only a damp brush. I get a nice even color no matter what surface I am painting.

I have used the more expensive AS chalk paint on other projects....this worked just as well, and for 1/4 of the price! My project was a seldom used bed and dresser, so in fairness to AS, will have to see how durable the finish is. But, for the price, can't beat it!

Quality products, easy to use, makes painting fun.

It is a great alternative to using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. I do think its a little spendy but the jar goes a really long way. I painted 2 coats on a desk and still had 1/2 the jar left. It has a very dull finish but that is to be expected with chalk paint. It requires no sanding/prep time and covers evenly. Will use again!

I have been wanting to try out chalk paint and saw this at home depot MUCH cheaper than some of the other chalk paints on the market, so i snatched it up! I painted a coffee table with the primitive color all over and then mixed a few other colors together for the top portion to give it a driftwood beachy sort of look and it turned out great! The coverage was perfect, no sanding beforehand required. Great results!! The only drawback is Home Depot only carries a VERY limited supply of colors and most are sold out.

I used this paint on wood, varnished surfaces, lacquered and even a weird, plastic coat, all to update garage sale furniture for our new home. Now, it's classy, updated and new looking. Super easy and thrilled with the results!! I even mixed this with white chalk paint and made a custom gray to redo some particle board side tables.

I purchased the chalk paint in "whisper", along with the cream wax and am very happy with the results! The paint goes on smoothly and covers wonderfully..I actually used 3 coats of paint and 2 of wax, lots of work, but as you can see, the outcome is worth it! I have a ways to go(big kitchen) and will no doubt continue to order as needed. Thanks!!!
