Not user friendly don’t like the programming features

All the features work pretty well, the night vision seems to attract moths and bats and the distance seems to be a line of sight not more than about 300 ft but so far everything worked well enough for me to catch my first unwelcome visitor that I wouldn't have known about without the cameras.

Just paid for itself we kept having someone run through my grandmas yard. We even put up blocks to stop them from making ruts in the yard. The perp started to run over the block we put there. Couple days in and bam mystery solved

I installed the defender cameras on my deck two years ago. Video from the cameras where used to have this man crimany charged. It has also been used to report him to the police with video and voice recording. He has now spent $$$ on lawyers defending himself.

This is decidedly 'old tech'. Purchased because no wi-fi is needed, and system records on SD media. Images low-def, VGA level. OS is very basic, motion detection is hit-or-miss. Mount is not configured to hang unit from eaves or other overhang, can only be mounted 'upside-right'. Had to fashion my own bracket to allow correct picture orientation when hung 'upside-down' from eaves (see picture). Only signal is 'wireless', power cords need to be run from outlets to units. Overall, an okay alternative to the plethora of wi-fi doorbells and security systems on the market. But only okay...

I just recieved the defender security system. What I like the most is the 2 cameras and the split screens

Setting it up was easy. We placed one camera for the front door and one for the back door. Plugged everything in and it works great. Videos are clear, even at night and the audio works great. In fact, you might want to turn the volume down a bit. The audio picks up every little sound. Birds singing, car engines, even my neighbors swimming in their pool across the street. I've been recommending them to everyone.

I ordered the Phoenix M3 with 4 cameras and had it set up within 2 hours. Have the monitor mounted by my chair so I can easily see what’s going on outside. Great picture! Love it!

Excellent quality, crystal clear pictures and super Price! If you need a great security system, there is only one option THE DEFENDER SYSTEM.

We just got our cameras system in and had it up and running in 15 min . Super simple setup. We have the cameras in the metal garage about 150 ft and has great signal .

Recently purchased, not tech savvy, but easy to install and use the great features

I got the the wireless system a month ago and it is amazing! Right out of the box it was a breeze to set up and get the cameras up and running. The picture quality is brilliant. I love it and I feel secure knowing things are being monitored I volunteered to participate in the testing of this product and wanted to share my honest review Michael

I bought this system because I already have the same system with 4 cameras, that I am VERY HAPPY with! Bought it to monitor an owl-box that I just built, and to monitor a side yard gate with the second camera. AWESOME system! I have already caught a sober-living home, dropout, that I saw trying to enter my courtyard, AND a stolen vehicle used in a car-phishing spree! Showed the videos to the Sheriff's Dept. Deputy said he wished that EVERYBODY had a surveillance system, that it would make their job more conclusive, having that kind of evidence!

I installed my camera system on the 4th of November 2018 , I have two cameras but I only installed one so far, it was easy to setup and learn how to use. It holds up to a max 128 GB SD card, the video is clear daytime and night,the motion sensor is very sensitive informative an useful the motion sensor beeps when a car person animal or whether is active in the view of the camera,the two-way intercom is loud and the speaker to hear the outside is very sensitive and clear.

Purchase the 2 cameras and monitor last month since then added another camera easy to set up and like the fact that I know when I'm not home I know who has stopped by. No more guessing who's at the door now.

I bought this about a week or so ago. Overall I'm happy with this system. It was not that expensive with easy set up. I was quite impressed with daytime picture quality along with decent night time vision. Viewing range is good. The monitor fits well on my night stand although wish it was a touch screen. Mobile viewing would've also been a great feature but overall a good product. Will definitely add 2 more cameras to complete the system.

I purchased this little Defender system to replace my very unreliable WIFI cameras. They only detected motion part of the time and were extremely slow to record the action. This Defender has it all and does it all!! I'm an 80 year old female and it was so simple to install - just plug it in, mount the cameras where you want them and you're done! I can easily unplug the monitor and carry it to the bedroom at night with out having to reset anything - just turn it back on. The night vision is sharp and clear as are the daylight color images. There are a few cons though. First thing I looked for was a manual or an easy setup guide. There was none. I eventually did find the on-line user manual. When I was putting the screws in the holder for the camera, the head broke off one of the screws. Never, ever had that happen before. Lastly, the gray text that's above the buttons is extremely difficult to read. I made a strip with the names and taped them above the buttons. Customer Service is great! I sent an email with a few questions and Melissa C. was very helpful and promptly answered my concerns. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

I wanted something very simple to put together and would also give me great digital picture. I am very happy with this system and would buy another in a heartbeat. I am going to add more cameras.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and was very pleased how easy it was to set up. It is such a simple system. I set my cameras to continuously record. I have ordered a 128 sd memory card to use. Set the system up straight out of the box with in 20 minutes was up and recording. Will recommend to family and friends!

Very happy with my purchase of PhoenixM2.2C. Easy set up, works right out of the box. Keeps life simple with it's simplicity! Can set to record or set for motion. Very durable and quality made! Will be ordering two more cameras.

Well the picture is perfect in daylight and very good at night (as good as much more expensive systems as I have tried a few). Set up, there was none. Ease of use, not much to it you just have to read the name on the button. One thing to be careful when installing: the install guide says you can mount in on the roof if you want, but in fine print at the top it says the camera is not water proof so it must be mounted under cover. Due to the temp. here going down to -47*F I built a 2" styro foam box behind my facia board and installed a receptacle for it up there. One problem I just found, if you just unplug the monitor without turning it off you will lose the camera (well I keep it beside my bed at night but my wife wants to keep an eye on things in the day time so I move the monitor daily). To get the camera back (paired up again), you just have to unplug the camera and turn on the monitor, then plug in the camera. You do not need to pair the camera. I figured this out before I spent a few hours getting my camera out of the box to pair!

This began because I couldn't see the center portion of my drive way when people arrived. Now, I can not only see the driveway, I can see both front entrances to the house. Since the unit is wireless there were no cables to run between the camera and the console and installation took only minutes. As a bonus I can talk to anyone at my front door while sitting in my office. Since I have a second camera I'll install it on the rear of the house and have those entrances covered as well.

Bought this product and 2 more cameras for a total of 4 cameras. Three weeks after installation, the alert woke me up to witness a suspect, car-surfing/phishing all the cars on my street. The video was shown to police and the van being used by the suspect was found to be stolen and recovered a week later. In my mind, the system has already paid for itself by giving us peace of mind! NOBODY enters our cul-de-sac, without me knowing about it!!!

Easy setup hands down, it picked up both cameras without any problem. I checked reviews and made my choice by them and I’m glad I did. Awesome colored and clear view. The 7 inch panel stand could be put anywhere in the house. I got the PHOENIXM22C with two cameras, one for the back door and one in the front of the garage facing the driveway. One thing you have to figure is where you want to drill your hole using a ½ drill bit through the wall for the cameras to be plugged up to power outlet. The cords for the cameras are over 14 foot in length to be plug in an outlet. So you have to measure to your closes power outlet from where you drilled. Once you do that your home free the rest is easy. Just plug in your Defender panel and your cameras and the defender will pick them up, cam 1 and cam 2. Now from your email they send you the instructions in a PDF file for download. You have to have a PDF program to open it up. Once you read on how to fine tune your Defender with sound, you feel glad you bought the best.

Very easy set up, excellent clarity. It is exactly as advertised.

Easy set up. Only dislike is there’s no output to plug into a larger monitor.
