The Delta Door was received in a well covered box and required two people to carry. After removing the outer container, there was 3 Boxes - The Door Handles - The Upper Frame and the Glass Doors. Before purchasing a shower tub door, you must precisely measure the width, height of the existing Shower Frame to ensure you will get the proper fit. For a frameless door, there is an additional requirement of measuring the width of the Tub opening where the Glass Door will reside. The measurements are very important to selecting the proper door you need. After reading the thorough instructions and looking at the You Tube Video, I felt that I could handle this my self. The issue was removed the old framed door and smoothing the Surface down where the old frame was attached. I needed to contact a professional to do this properly, since the side of the doors do not have a frame, the water is kept out by attaching a silicone strip to the glass door itself. Any uneven surface would allow the water to leak out while showering. The kit comes with a Template to put on the shower wall which allows you to draw and mount the included hardware into the shower walls and tub lip. Precise measurement is needed to ensure a proper installation. It did take a little longer than anticipated to install the door but the end result was a much needed improvement to the bathroom. We received a clear glass door to show the background of the Tub. The Glass Door has "Rainshield" Technology" which minimizes your cleaning effort from stains and Hard Water. Rain Shield does help a lot in keeping the Door Clear. All the work and effort was worth it.

These doors are an excellent shower door system. We like them a lot but there are some caveats. First, I have installed probably 25 or more shower door systems in my lifetime. I am a big fan of shower doors and have installed them in several houses I have lived in as well as installing them for friends and family members. Most have been very easy installs and I'd like to say this one was to, but it was not. However, I overcame the challenges and Delta customer service was right there to help. The materials included are good quality and the shower doors are of a good weight but are not too cumbersome to handle alone. Also, I didn't use a hand hacksaw to cut any of the metal, I used a Ryobi multi-tool with a metal cutting blade and my cuts were fast and clean. I was also very fortunate that I had studs located behind my tile where the side rails and top collars mounted to the wall. Use an appropriate bit to cut through your tile and you won't have any damage. So, the first thing you want to do is read all of the instructions and become familiar with the pieces and how they are oriented when installed. I did not do this effectively and had to remove the top track and spin it to orient it correctly. This was completely my fault but the instructions do not reiterate this part and I think that could have been better explained (see my picture below). The door roller assemblies install easily and I was able to place each door on the track, myself, without needing assistance. There are some "add-ons" that I think Delta did to overcome water splashing out issues and some of them are less than appealing- the "blade seal" that goes on the door closest to your shower head is a pain to install and you'll need to wiggle it back and forth (inside to out) to get it on but I think this is a testament to how strongly it will stay on. Additionally, there is a "supplemental piece" that goes on, horizontally, at the bottom of the same door, to deflect water. This seemed kind of cheesy and I'm not sure how long it will stay on. When you caulk, if you have light/white tile, I recommend using crystal clear caulk as this will show up less and is hardly noticeable. I'm happy with this door system and the brushed nickel is a great color.

Perfect door for my tub! I added a master bath to my home and had to find a bathtub door that closely matched the shower door I had in my guest bathroom. This clear glass frameless door from Delta was as close of a match as I could have asked for! It's really heavy so you'll want help moving and installing these doors! The tempered glass panels are 1/4" thick with a Spot Guard coating for easy cleaning. This door has a barn-door type track like my other bathroom shower door and it includes a wide towel bar for each door which is really nice for ease of reach after a shower. I keep squeegee's in both bathrooms to easily & quickly have the ability to get the water off the glass and walls. (I hate water spots and streaking). Delta has several choices of these doors, finishes, handles and tracks but I prefer nickel and clear glass because it makes my small bathrooms seem larger. There's a 5-year limited warranty on these doors which is a great benefit. Can't wait to get these installed! This door size will fit width openings of 50 inches to 59 inches and it's 58-3/4 inches high. Delta shower doors are made to accommodate "out of plumb" areas of 3/8 inches. The tracks can also be cut to fit your width and the doors can be opened from the left or right. Love this contemporary style!

Crestfield 60 in. x 58-3/4 in. Semi-Frameless Contemporary Sliding Bathtub Door in Nickel with Clear Glass by Delta As many homeowners know, shower curtains can sometimes be not that attractive as other methods for taking showers without a water mess all over the bathroom floor. When Home Depot offered this Delta Crestfield Sliding Shower Door, I decided to give it a try. I ordered it and it was promptly and professionally delivered. The item is shipped in one whole box. The items were all packaged nicely. All necessary hardware is included in the box, as is full instructions, which you can also download online. The sliding glass is clear allowing total light into the tub/shower area. The doors are coated to allow easy cleaning without water spots. The glass is also tempered, which prevents breakage. The instructions show all the tools necessary to do the job. Most are common hand tools, though a metal file, metal sheers, and miter box are required. The track assembly is fully enclosed with a top rail system that allows the hangers on pulley wheels to gracefully glide along the rails when closing or opening the doors. The side and bottom track bar are to be mounted to the sides and top of the tub. These are fastened with screws. It is important here that you check your measurements again and again. Check your alignment. The system is designed to accommodate walls that are not square or plum. Cut your angles accordingly with a hack saw and a miter box. Do this. Don't try to do it without it. The angles are visible and any shortcut will show. When mounting to tile, make sure you drill pilot holes in the tile and step it with increasing drill bits. This will insure you do not crack the tile. Start small and work your way up. Fill the holes with clear caulk before inserting the screws to make the hole water tight. If you follow the directions, you will have a nice surround to encase your doors. Just make sure everything is level and on an even plane. This will ensure there is no binding with the doors. The installation is not hard, but not simple either. The key is to take your time. Measure, measure, and measure. When you have done that, measure again. Check, check, check, and check again. When done doing that, check again! The shower doors are an easy installation. Just do not over tighten or you risk shattering the glass. Overall, it is a nice appearance to upgrade the bathroom. I'm going to purchase another one to put in the downstairs bathroom to have matching decor. Thank you Delta and Home Depot for offering these. I rate them 5*s out of 5. Although assembly is a little difficult, it can be done when you take your time.

This is a beautiful shower door set that installed beautifully in my guest bathroom. It came nicely packaged with clear instructions on how to install. Install was a bit difficult but after drilling through the bathroom tiles and getting everything mounted it up, it looks awesome! Install took about a full day being a first timer. The results speak for themselves and it looks stunning. My guest bathroom looks huge now and much more high end than before. Highly recommend!

I've installed a number of barn door style glass enclosures and believe that Delta has the nicest look and operation of all. In fact, I'll be getting the round corner shower version in this series as well. Packaging protected everything perfectly (and the glass seems remarkably strong). As long as you can deal with the heft of the doors, this is a simple homeowner install. Delta breaks down the instructions concisely and there are very few parts to configure. Just assure your opening is relatively square and that your rail cuts are precise. The wheels are silky smooth and the doors glide with a solid feel. Hardware finishes are quite good. Not crazy about the appearance of the door bars, but the contrast is subtle and no big deal. I do like the warmness of the nickel finish, and the Niebla glass is a nice sophisticated change from clear.

We have recently installed the Crestfield 60x 58-3/4 inch framless contemporary sliding bathtub door in nickel with niebla glass. My husband took a about an hour or so installing it only to find a cracked roller, he put it up anyhow as he already drilled into our surround. Not a deal breaker but... I will say it is a very beautiful set of door, however I am quite nervous as we have young children who take baths, the gaps are quite large especially down the side. I want my husband to move these to our master bath but he felt they would look best in the other bath. I will purchase a set of these for our master bath, they are that pretty, I won't be so concerned with the gaps then.The brushed nickel finish matches both bathrooms and looks incredible. All in all Delta did it again with a beautiful product, we have their tub, surround and fixtures already so having the doors makes sense. Cannot fault them for the cracked part, things happen. Look forward to getting a second set of these shower doors.

High quality and easy installation. As with all Delta products, this door is very well designed and the parts are well milled and the glass is sturdy. The finish is consistent both across the unit itself and all of the other Delta bathroom products. Having installed a number of Delta door systems, they are always simple to install as well. The directions are clear and can be easily followed by anyone with basic skills and tools. However, the height of your current tub surround is critical. If it is shorter than the required height for door installation, it is important to predetermine how you will achieve the even surface needed for mounting. In this case, I was able to flush it out with leftover tiles and will now tile the rest of the surround to ceiling height.

I have a window over the tub so these doors let the light flow nicely. They are definately a nice modern update and the finished product looks great. Im glad the glass is thick and strong and made it through delivery moving around perfectly. The installation is pretty simple, I would deinately recommend reading completely before getting started. I installed into a porcelain tile surround and had to purchase the anchors seperately, I wish that was more clear at the beginning. I love the modern look but I'm not thrilled about the gaps at the door and frame at left and right, for a shower its fine but when the kids take a bathe , I have to keep a close eye on it and put a towel at the floor since drips and splashes get thru. Its manageable but somethin to watch for.

This is the second Delta shower door set I now own. My twenty year old chrome set in spare bathroom is wearing out. I have attached a photo of my old chrome shower doors compared to this new delta door, world of difference. I think the quality is amazing, the delta weighs twice as much at about 90 LBS. and has the new style roller track which is very smooth.The Niebla glass gives you more privacy than my clear frosted glass. The Nickel finish has the spot shield coating which makes it so much easier to keep clean. Included are two nickel finish towel racks, one for each door. If you are going to install this set, you will need a helper as it is heavy. The photo along side my truck shows how big the box is before opening. Now I just have to wait until my son comes home from the Air Force this weekend to help me take down the old one and install the new one. Like I said, this is a two person job.

I'm really pleased with this door. The quality is good and easy to install. Looks great. The ORB finish is pretty authentic looking. I had to hold back on the 5th star since the doors do let a little bit of water splash out from beneath the doors if the doors are sprayed directly with a hand held shower head (especially the outer door). The doors are adjusted as low as they can go so the gap between the bottom of the doors and the threshold is as small as it can be. I like the low threshold, but it seems like it should be a little taller to block any splashing caused by water running down the inside of the door into the threshold. Also, I wish I had the option to install or not install the inner towel bar. I don't use it and it takes up space. I'm reminded it's there once a month or so when I bang my elbow on it while showing.

I love this, but it should have have the protection on both sides of the doors. I love the way it works and looks

I was a little worried about installing this myself and having to drill through ceramic tile but it was surprisingly easy and looks great! Following the step by step process outlined in the instructions helped me fit this into my reno of an old bathroom and this brushed nickel with the frosted glass looks fantastic! Cutting the metal pieces to size was very easy and attached the door to the upper track was very simple. If you are adding this to a tub/shower with tile surround I highly recommend purchasing a ceramic tile bit for your drill, it will make install very easy.

i love the look of this bath door, the glass hangs from the track and no bottom tracks to get gummed up and clean. simple and very clean modern looking. i like that delta has provided excellent assembly instructions in addition to all hardware needed. honestly with patience and some tools follow the install manual. and i believe most homeowners could tackle this job. it took me about an hour and a half and i was not in a hurry. i would say a novice 2-3 hrs would be possible.

This Delta Crestfield sliding bathtub door is simply astonishing. The doors are made of thick tempered glass. The contemporary brushed nickel framing is strong, rust resistant, and nice looking. The doors can be installed to be opened from the left or right hand side. The two towel bars are a nice touch and addition. Although I haven't installed it yet, I have looked over the directions and they are concise and seem like they will be pretty easy to follow. Best of all, this sliding bathtub door also compensates for those out of plumb tubs with up to a 3/8" discrepancy and is able to be trimmed down to suit your needs if necessary. I can not wait to install this and upgrade the overall look of my bathroom. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful, very stylish. Smooth roller action, nice weight to the glass (solid, not flimsy in any way). I was concerned when I read some of the reviews which mentioned leaks. I just tested mine this morning, removed my mats and exposed tile/raw grout lines. If there is any water it shows up on the tile/grout right away. Not a drop of water on the floor outside the enclosure. I highly recommend reading all the installation instructions and understand all the steps (start to finish), before beginning. Make sure you have all the parts (see pic attached). Most of the youTube install videos I found don't apply to this type of enclosure. However, there are a couple of videos on deltashowerdoors.com that apply to this product. They are worth watching. I installed my doors so the inside lip of the bottom track is vertically aligned with the inside edge of the tub (any water running down the doors will drop directly into the tub and not pool up on the edge of the tub). I also made sure that both support ribs under the bottom track are firmly sitting on the edge of the tub (just in case someone steps on the track it has good support). I sealed the entire enclosure on the inside with a good quality silicone caulk and allowed it to cure for 24 hours before testing. There is an after-market water shield (along the bottom of the door), which I did not install for aesthetics (I prefer the clean look of the glass). I mounted the enclosure on porcelain tile. I didn't want to drill the required holes so I cheated a bit and positioned some of the pieces such that I could drill the grout line and not the tile. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this enclosure. Customer support (5/5 stars). The lady I dealt with was very helpful and took care of minor issues quickly and accurately. Thank you Nikki.

Great product and great instructions. A big job for a DIY project, but if you follow the instructions to the letter and take your time, it's doable.

I love the look but it was not an easy DIY project, and I had to have a professional install it. I have been waiting for the silicone caulk to cure and am anxious to see about water escaping as per other reviews. I’m not sure I recommend this door aa at this time as I’m not sure the aesthetics outweigh function.

Was not that hard to install. Just take your time and make sure you double check your measurements. It took me about 3 1/2 to 4 hours, but I was not in any hurry. Looks great and functions as promised.

Nice look for the price. Plastic strips on the glass doors do not fit on easily. Left them off until some one can tell me the trick for their installation. Arrived without any hardware to install, but Delta customer service came through and sent replacements within a week. Handled the delay because this was our guest bath shower. Smooth operation and makes the room look spacious.

It looks beautiful and works well. My only complaint is the rubber water guards- they don’t stay on the edges of the doors and the one across the bottom of the door cane off completely. I will have to use clear silicone to caulk them in place.
