Not suitable with tankless hot water heaters
It is a nice shower faucet system. Good price, basic, easy to install. However, it does not work with tankless water systems. I get hot water through the faucet, but not through the shower head. It is not a faulty faucet since this problem is happening with the shower faucet in both bathrooms. It has something to do with the pressure balancing mechanism in the faucet or so it says on the sole piece of literature that discusses compatibility with tankless. The literature does not say how to resolve the issue or what faucets are compatible. Delta customer service is no help there either. I'm going to try Kohler or Moen.

WARNING: Does not work with R10000 Valve!
There is nothing to tell you this, but the "Foundations" line of Delta Trims do not work with the "Universal" R10000 valve. We wasted a lot of time and money with our plumber by having the wrong thing. Everything you will find will say Delta trims are "universal" but....not this one.

The product seems fine but after further review I found out that this is one of the very few Delta shower faucets that has a different valve. That could be a nightmare in the future.

Expected better quality
Water pressure coming out of the shower head used to be strong until I installed this unit. Hard to gauge the temperature as well.
