A great updated look over the original grab bar that I had previously on the wall in my bathroom. The screws on my old grab bar were visible, the finish was not appealing and had the look that is typical of grab bars you find in public bathrooms. The Delta Greenwich 18 in. Concealed Screw ADA Grab Bar features a smooth surface for a simple clean look with no ugly screws showing. It is rated to support up to 500 lbs. when installed into a wall stud or other secure wooden or metal substrate. Each flange on ends have five screw holes to accommodate individual grab bar mounting needs and ease in installation. I installed this grab bar in my bathroom at an angle so both ends are screwed into wall studs with a third screw set in a wall anchor. I am pleased with the look of this grab bar and like that Delta is committed to the highest standards in quality and safety and that there grab bars are manufactured and tested to exceed ADA standards.. The Greenwich 18 inch concealed screw decorative grab bar comes in a brushed nickel finish as well.

My wife wanted a grab bar for the shower as we are not getting younger. So I looked around and decided on the Delta Greenwich 18 in. x 1-1/4 in. Concealed Screw ADA-Compliant Decorative Grab Bar in Chrome . The grab bar comes with 6 wood screws, wall anchors sold separately. It's impossible to find the studs through the wall tiles, so I bought wall anchors. with them the mounting was relatively quick and easy. The bar offers a god grip with its larger diameter, ADA rules don't only benefit the disabled.

Only issue is the the screws used are too soft. Very easy to strip the heads. Need to be torex instead of Phillips headed. I am very skilled and managed to strip two screws while installing three of these bars.

Worked well, easy to to install and solid. No issues.

Strong, good looking grab bar. Mounted it with the use of separate expansion anchors rated for 600 pounds hold in drywall. sturdy and very helpful after my knee replacement. Only complaint is the escutcheon (little round plate that covers the screw holes) is a little loose and does not completely cover the holes use for the anchors. Minimal annoyance, a little glue and the plate is solidly in place!

Same as another reviewer -- the part of the fixture that holds the bar to the wall has started to corrode. Odd for "stainless steel." We remodeled our house before moving in 10/10/15. Noticed the corrosion tonight, 01/21/17. 15 months doesn't seem like all it should last, Delta?

During a recent bath room remodel, I decided to add grab bars to the new shower area. After looking online and visiting several stores, the Greenwich grab bar was my choice. They are nice looking and sturdy. Since this was a remodel, the wall studs were exposed, so I could measure and plan where to mount the grab bars. I have a large shower area, approx. 6 ft by 6 ft, so I used 2 vertical mounts and 2 horizontal mounts. The horizontal mounts also are used to hang wash cloths. During a recent hospital stay, I learned the value of the vertical mounts for getting into and out of a shower.

This is a excellent grab bar and while it is quite expensive it is worth every penny. Shopped around quite a bit at multiple HomeDepot stores and found just one store which has this in the desired length and have NOT regretted this purchase. Visually attractive but more importantly, manufactured out of stainless steel which should keep it's longevity and maintenance-free traits for a good long time.

The bar has excellent finish, made a great addition to by bathroom remodel. Easily installed and provides safety and security.

Bought grab bar in January, 2013 (I have Receipt). Getting out of shower on August 6, 2013, I reached for bar and it was loose. I looked and metal had crumbled and disintegrated.

The product that arrived was a different design from the picture online and on the outside of the box. The design I ordered was to match the toilet paper holder and towel bar and towel ring I previously ordered. What arrived was a totally different product!!! Very disappointed.

It took the handyman about 10 minutes to install it, Can be used as an extra towel rack and for hanging small items of wet laundry. Look very nice - matches the towel racks I bought.

Easy to install and great to use. Design fits bathroom beautifully.

The grab bar is both functional and an attractive addition to the bathroom

Pricey, but the highest quality in fit and finish. Very strong mounting with six available mounting holes on each end. Great product.
