Directional heat
The Dyna-Glo Delux 95K or 135K BTU Kerosene Forced Air Heater is very helpful during our cold winters. We have a shop with no heat and this setup with high ceilings keeps a concentrated area warm, not hot, unless you are really close to the heater which I don’t suggest. We do lose a lot of heat with wide open spaces but it definitely takes the chill out of the air. The noise level is ok and it’s fairly easy to setup. I strongly suggest watching a YouTube video to see step by step. Overall great unit.

Great Heater
It is cold and winter is here in Colorado, we are remodeling my main bathroom. I was too cold in the garage to work so I decided to get a forced air heater so we could keep working. I came across the Dyna-Glo Deluxe 95K or 135K BTU Kerosene Forced Air Heater in Gray and put in my order. A few days later the Heater arrived via Fed Ex. It was bigger and heavier than I expected. As we un-packed the Heater we found the User’s Manual and Operating Instructions. It has directions in 3 different Languages, 27 pages each language. It was much simpler than that. The axel to the wheels was a little difficult to find. We thought it was missing but eventually found it taped it to the back of an outer foam packaging material. It might be better to make it easier to find. The Heater holds 10 gallons. You can use several different types of fuel to run the heater. Kerosene, #1 a #2 Fuel Oil, # and #2 Diesel, Jet Fuel A and JP-8. Cost wise we went with #2 Diesel fuel although the manufacturer recommends Kerosene. It was $12 per gallon and not as easy to get as the #2 Diesel. After getting a new gas can to hold the diesel, we filled the heater up and turned it on. With the garage door opened about 3 feet at the bottom, it heated the air temperature in there about 10 degrees in about 10 minutes. This will work great for our remodeling of my bathroom since it was only 22 degrees outside. We are cutting tile and don’t need the water to freeze. You could use this heater in many different environments but be sure never to use it in a confined space or indoors with no air flow. I would be deadly. The Dyna-Glo Deluxe Heater has a 1-year limited warranty and will either provide replacement parts, repair the unit or replace it. I am completely satisfied with this Heater from Dyna-Glo and will highly recommend it to family, friends and neighbors.

Super Heater. Variety of Fuels. Easy to Operate. Performs Well.
Well packaged for safe shipping. Great instructions. Easy to assemble with only a few tools. Easy to operate. Slightly awkward fuel filling, typical of this type of heater. Hanging funnel over heater makes filling easier. Plenty of heat & fan forced blast, on the quite side. Selected to use in garage, barn workshop (w. plenty of fresh air ventilation) and outdoor repairs on snow plowing equipment. Burned pump diesel with clean low odor operation. Moving with main handle is a bit awkward, especially when heater is full of fuel, but is manageable. As with past Dyna-Glo products, satisfied & recommend this 95-135K heater.

A great heater for my shop
It is starting to get cold and I needed a better heating solution for working in the shop. This is a really good heater. It is easily filled, moves well, and it comes up to a comfortable temperature quickly. For assembling the heater, you need a phillips screwdriver, 3/4 wrench (if you use wrenches on both sides it tightens up quicker), and a 5/16 wrench. And it goes together quite easily.

Blown away...literally.
I have a 2000 sf unheated, uninsulated airplane hangar that I wanted to take the chill off. After quite a bit of research I settled on the Dyna-Glo. Could not be more pleased. With the Veteran's Discount offsetting NC's state tax it was $261 delivered to the house. Easy assembly and the manual that comes with it is not to be believed in terms of detail. I fired it up this morning with K-1 and it lit immediately. It sounds and smells like a small jet engine, but in a hangar that's 👍.

    HEAT! and FAST!
I like to do woodworking in our garage, but in the winter it can get to 0 degrees sometimes in our unheated garage. it has insulation, but there are a lot of leaks around the large door and the 2 man doors, so it's kind of drafty. Last year I had to run two 40k BTU kerosene heaters for an hour before our garage got warm enough to work in. When I first tried this Dyna-Glo heater, it brought the temperature in our 28x28 garage up 15 degrees in 5 minutes! I couldn't believe the difference. I'll be using my garage a lot more this winter for sure. It has a 10 gallon tank and a fuel guage that seems to be very accurate. I only wanted to put a quarter tank in for now, so I was able to watch the fuel guage go up as I filled it and was able to stop it where I wanted to. Once you have fuel in, all you have to do is push the ON button and it starts up by itself. Nothing to light or anything. Then there is a switch on the back that allows you to choose between high or low settings. I figure once it gets warm enough, I'll just switch it to the low setting to save kerosene. It can also burn other types of oil like diesel as well. I didn't notice any kerosene odor when running it, but after I shut it off I did notice some. It could have been due to a little kerosene I spilled from the syphon I used when I took it out of the can, though. Most kerosene heaters do leave a smell, though, after you turn them off. It won't suffocate you probably unless you have an airtight building you're using it in maybe. I would not use it to heat the main house, though, unless if was just temporarily during a power outage. It was pretty easy to assemble. I frankly just looked at the illustrations in the manual and figured it out myself. The unit is pretty light and easy to move, but I'm sure it would be a little harder maybe if it was full. I only put a quarter tank in. Still it wouldn't be hard to move full either unless you were trying to lift it into a truck or something. The plug also has a reverse plug on it so while it's plugged in, you can plug something else into it as well. It's not real loud. It kind of makes a roar sound while it's on, and you could still talk loudly with someone and hear them ok, maybe have a tv on loud or radio, so it's not a big problem. Not as loud as I thought it might be for sure. So if you need a source of a lot of heat fast, this is your baby. Professional grade. I really recommend it!

    Jobsite Heater
Decent heater, not asloud as my similar DeWalt heater it replaced. However around -15C and colder it needs to physically be warmed up before it will start, so hot overly impressed that I need to use a heater to warm up my heater in order for it to heat me up. Once running no complaints.

Ad on box is misleading, it is not open, add fuel, and turn on. Instructions state assembly in 10 minutes: I'm a properly equipped mechanic and it took me 35. The wheel axle and spacers are not properly designed. The axle length is a few inches too long resulting in the heater taking upextra width, making it difficult to manuver it tight spaces. The two wheel spacer are too short making the wheel wander in and out on the axle. There needs to be a third spacer to keep the axle brackets separated. Otherwise the brackets have a tendency to bend inward and under the heater. The high/low heat switch at the rear was loose and had to be reattached. I like the fuel gage and temperature control. Overall a good product but I do plan to fix the axle issues.

      Its hot
I have a pole barn with 0 insulation. 2900sf. It raised the temp from 50 to 80 in about 45 minutes. It did not fume me out or set off my CO alarm. Though intend to test with an actual monitor. Im running it on Jet A. It was easy to put together in minutes, and be burning. Its not as loud as others ive used. We also put it in a 3 car derached garage where our weight room is. Went from 50 to 72 in about 5-10 minutes. It again did not fume us out, or set off the CO alarm. I also intend to test the garage with a monitor. It appears to be a quality unit at a fair price. Some other units in its price range only had one setting. This has a high and low setting. The digital temp read out is nice. It also will display error codes on the display, which are printed on the panel.

        AWESOME.
I am in a 40x60 non insulated shed in Iowa. Burning diesel in it (A lot cheaper than kerosene, and I have a 300 gallon barrel of diesel to use). Awesome heater. Really not that noisy even on high settings. I can even watch TV I did my machine shed and hear it while the burner is going on. Very very happy with this product. Just flip the switch, and it’s on

Had to drive a bit, and search hard to find kerosene. I did want kerosene after reading review that diesel may smell. Not sure, kerosene smells, too. Perhaps the modern cleaner diesel are fine, may investigate after kerosene runs out. Heater is fast to heat our 30x30 shop (directed at our work area) enough to work in shirt sleeves. Happy with the purchase, before the shop wasn't used from like Oct through April that much, now the boys work on their cars no matter what weather outside because its tolerable out there in damp, dank, rainy Oregon which averages 40 degrees in winter. I remember using these in NY where the temps dipped to below freezing in our shop back there, so I knew it would work for our needs.

Great heater overall. Heats an uninsulated 30x40 barn quickly and if I was to say anything negative it would be the noise level coming from unit is high. But 180k of heat does explain that away.

          Warmth at last!
I have a 1,000 square ft garage. This 80,000 BTU heater keeps the whole garage at a comfortable room temperature even in subfreezing weather. Specs say that it will cover up to 1,900 sq. ft. – sure does a great job in 1000 sq feet. It has a comfort control thermostat that keeps the temperature steady and conserves fuel. I was surprised how easy this unit is to use. You push the power switch and everything happens automatically. The fuel gauge is a nice feature, and it is positioned so that it is easy to read. The specs say that it can use K1 Kerosene, Diesel #1, Diesel #2, Fuel Oil #1, Fuel Oil #2, Jet A and JP-8 with K1 Kerosene being the fuel of choice for optimal, cleaner burns and to make the heater last longer. It holds 5 Gallons of fuel and will heat up 9 hours. It also has a flameout sensor for safety. There is an air pressure gauge that I do not know how to use or what it’s for. The manual doesn’t cover it at all. It also says that it does self-diagnostics but that’s not really covered in the manual either. The construction of the heater seems to be well thought out and is manufactured with quality material. It has a carry handle and cord wrap feature for easy transportation. So far, I do have a mild odor while using the unit. I do not know if this is normal or not. I was hoping that there would be no smell at all with proper ventilation. The cord on the unit is short, 8”, so you have to plug in an extension cord to power the fan. However, the 8” plug that comes with it is a Dual Source Power Cord designed so that you can plug something else into the other side of the plug.

          Heats our Pole Barn Nicely
We first tried the heater out in our 2 and 1/2 car garage. The temperature went up so quickly, we had to shut it off within 10 minutes, and it was very noisy for that small space. It was then taken to our 40' X 80' pole barn and fired up. The outside temperature was around 40F at the time and the barn was nicely heated in 30 to 45 minutes. The noise was much more bearable also in the larger building. The thermostat is awesome also, meaning no more turning off and on manually as our old one was. The manufacturer states 10 hour run time, and I would say that is probably about right. We ran this one about 6 hours and the gauge still showed a little over 3/10's of fuel left in the 13 gallon tank. Again, it is so much better than our old heater and I can recommend this for a larger building.

          Fantastic Heater!!!
10 Minute assembly from the box, attach front and back handles and wheel support frame, add #1 kerosene and its all ready to go!! Heated my pole barn in 15 minutes from 25 degrees up to sixty five degrees. Very easy to start with electronic ignition with the flip of a switch!! This delux heater heats up my pole barn quicker that my ceiling heater, which is great!! Comes with a built in thermostat, and has dual heat BTU levels high or low. Holds 13 gallons of Kerosene! Uses 1.36 gallons per hour on high and on low uses 1.06 gallons per hour. It draws 3.2 amps and weighs 58 lbs. Fantastic quick and easy way to heat with. Love it!!

          Going to be useful
Well we have not really had any winter this year to be able to use yet! But we have had to use one bigger than this one in the past getting a rental house Ready to rent. We had to open all windows to have good ventilation. I have high hopes when my husband does need it, To thaw frozen pipes or needing to work in the garage on a project. Very useful

          Warm and cozy
If you do not mind the sound of the blower and a little smell of kerosene than this 8000 BTU Multi-Fuel Portable Heater is perfect for you as well. I love it as in 20 minutes my work shed goes from temperatures in the of freezing 32 to a comfortable 70 in well less than 20 minutes and that is perfect for my old bones to get going and motivated on projects over the winter months. This winter so far has been mild compared to many in past years. But I also have an unheated garage which also used as a multi-purpose area for laundry and freezer and storage etc. This 80K BTU Multi-Fuel Portable Heater very easily can be moved from one location to the other which is another reason I love it. The first time out of the box all that required assembly was the carrying handle. I read the directions making sure what is best to use as fuels and went with the first suggestion which was K1 fuel which is sold at Home Depot at around $10.75 gallon. I purchased one gallon and a five gallon blue Kerosine labeled plastic container so I will never make a mistake and use or mix gasoline to the space heater which would be a big mistake. I also bought a 3-pack multiple sized funnels which I recommend you use to fill your unit so you do not spill the kerosine all over outdoors where you should be filling it up at. I sugguest also you never refill indoors. The unit is managable filled with kerosine to move easily by its handle. There was no burn off smell or smoke when I for the first time used the unit outside. I flipped the red switch after plugging the unit in an extention cord which you will also need by the way. A three-prong type ground. This unit is running the blower from my solar panel farm with no problems. You will need electricity gotten from somewhere. I have chosen off-grid. You can of course plug this unit in any 110volt house current. To make a long story short. I purchased at Home Depot the blue 5 gallon container because after burning off the 1st initial gallon from Home Depot. Went to the Gas Station locally and purchased by the gallon from the pump at $2.79 currently. So you have options depending your budget. So warm and cozy I am. This product is great. A great addition to my shop during cold months of the year. And I highly recommend this one to anyone looking for an area heater as it performs perfectly.

I had three main concerns before buying this heater: 1. Would it smoke or smell bad? NO. This heater produces no smoke and a barely perceptible odor. Far less than my two previous and much smaller kerosene heaters (they were radiant heat style). 2. Would it constantly cycle on and off? NO. I set my temperature at about 75 degrees. When it reaches temperature it shuts off. It comes back on automatically when the temperature drops about 3 – 5 degrees, perfect. 3. Would it reliably ignite? YES. From the first time right out of the box until now (I’ve used it about 10 times) it has never failed to start on the first attempt. I use this to heat my 20 x 30 garage. My two previous radiant heaters operating at the same time would take 2 – 3 hours to heat my garage from 35 to 75 (I like it warm!). This is heater takes about 20 – 25 minutes! The blower makes some noise, but certainly doesn’t require hearing protection. I can easily hold a conversation with someone without shouting. The pigtail for hooking up an extension cord is a little short. It would be better if they made a socket type connection. Loading fuel is slightly awkward, but do-able. Digital temperature display is nice. I unpacked and assembled this myself but I’d recommend having a second person to help unbox it and hold the handles in place while putting the screws in. Box was damaged on the outside (UPS guy took a picture just in case…), but it was well packed and I saw no damage on the heater itself. I think one screw was stripped. I don’t remember the details but I’m pretty sure I just used a spare 10-32 I had lying around. No big deal. If this unit continues to perform like this I’ll probably purchase a second one for another building. Home Depot had free shipping and was cheaper than buying it direct from the manufacturer. Worth the money!

I have been happy so far. Bought to help warm up an un-insulated garage. It heats up quickly. This was the only heater I could find that had overall very good reviews in this price range. This was also a lot cheaper than other stores at the time. I got it for $219.88+ tax, free shipping to my door. I think that is hard to beat. Fortunately, I have had no issues. assembled it in about 30 minutes, taking my time. Then, filled the tank with diesel fuel - and it fired right up. I was impressed with how fast home depot shipped - got it within 4 days of ordering on a weekend. The manual recommends running the kerosene however my nearest kerosene fill is 20 miles away so Diesel is what I chose. I bought the 2 year protection plan for a little piece of mind too.
