I'm very happy with my purchase the string trimmer has good power and paired with the right trimmer head like the one from my 50-volt version you can really cut through a lot of thick weeds. The blower is good too if you use it and non-turbo mode the turbo works well it just kills the battery in about half the runtime. I also think something that would be nice would be a water resistant feature for the battery terminals and charger because rain is something that these products encounter often.

Convenient kit for my small yard. Suits my needs. Super easy to put together and use.

The trimmer did not last long at all.

Very good blower and trimmer.The biggest problem is run time.20 minutes top.I feel my battery is bad.No help from HD.

Trimmer was heavy. Wish there was a second battery.

Amazing blowing force. Turbo option is very helpful when heavy blowing is needed.

Good for small to average yards

Everything is great except the trimmer would be better if it was longer in length. You have to stand to close and upright to maintain an even cut. Works great though. Both of them!

I am very happy with this purchase the string trimmer has good power and coupled with the right trimmer head like my 58 volt version it really cuts through a lot. The blower does well also if you only use it in standard mode no Turbo the turbo works well it just kills the battery in about half the runtime overall good products wish the amp hours were longer on the battery and maybe Echo will entertain the idea of making a waterproof version? At least water resistant battery terminal and water resistant charger also rain is sometimes something that these products encounter and it should be tolerated to some degree in my opinion. Great products overall

Good value and power for both the blower and trimmer. The supplying of an additional battery would make this package and exceptional deal.

I have owned Echo blowers and weed trimmers for 3 years. Do not purchase them as the warranty is terrible. The batteries do not last and the dealer makes you jump through hoops in order to replace one . I bought these products because of the supposed 5 yr warranty but didn't realize it only as good as their dealers. I will never buy another Echo product.

Doesn’t run long enough per charge.

Love these battery operated tools… however, skip the 2.5 battery and buy the 5.0 for greater tool use when using.

Performs as well as a larger gas powered machine.

Excellent trimmer and blower for home use. I have enjoyed using both of them and will continue using them. The battery lasts for around 45 minutes or so with the trimmer. The long shaft on the trimmer makes weed eating a lot easier.

As I read in previous reviews, the tools work well. Better than my gas powered in fact! BUT the battery life in the 2.5 Ah battery doesn't last when using the blower. ECHO should replace the smaller battery with the 5 Ah battery or they will be losing happy customers.

Blower is good. Trimmer is heavy and unbalanced, but works good.

Has really good power

I purchased the Echo to replace a Toro battery unit that only lasted a year. I wasn't expecting much difference in power and performance but let me tell you, the Echo unit beats the pants off the Toro. More power, better balance and weights less. I'll try to remember to update after one year of use.
