Product was difficult install. Looked good going on, the next day, panels started lifting, they were glued and nailed. I had done a replank wall a few yrs earlier and was goin to use them again but wanted to save some money. Next time I'll spend that 1000.00 for a better product....will not recommend this one.

My wife and I wanted to improve our dining area so we decided to purchase these wall planks. Super easy to install and they look great.

I felt the planks were very thin, despite giving room between planks 3 planks buckled.

It was not difficult to install. My husband and son used a combination of glue down and small nail brads.

Went up easy added to other wall from another site that had colors.

Easy install. Clean and dry Square boards. Echo other reviews that at edges had a few split with the Brad nailer. Make sure you purchase your 10-15% extra SF. Color had a little more yellow undertones than expected but once installed it looked great.

This looks amazing on the wall.

My only negative is the smell. We had to leave the windows open to the room for like 2 straight weeks. Then leave the room door open. It was very very strong, we were getting concerned the smell may never go away, but it eventually did and it looks great

Ordered 14 boxes to cover 16'x8' ft. wall.  I was fortunate that I had no need for extra due to mistakes or I may have needed more. Was concerned that the shade was much darker than depicted and considered returning it but it looked great once I installed it.  I used the 1" brads that were included and applied a couple of beads of adhesive on each plank to ensure they stay in place.

Used a total of 175 Sq ft. In our project...easy to install if following directions. Very happy with final look.

Easy install on ceiling although I would recommend a strong adhesive.

I'll admit the planks do not look fancy right out of the box, but once on the wall the look is amazing. Everyone who has seen the walls loves it. This was an excellent choice for me and I shopped around A LOT, this is mid range price and 2 contractors I consulted said get real wood like this product, and avoid peel and stick. I don't know why the negative reviews are so fussy, but it seems to me they installed wrong. The instructions DO NOT recommend liquid nails or fasteners. Just nail the planks into your wall. We used #18 brad nails and practiced with the nail gun to adjust the pressure so the nail went just under the surface and are not that noticeable. We did 125 sq foot walls in 1 day and my walls included a lot of cut pieces. We used no glue, nailed the planks into wall studs and put other nails directly into drywall as needed. Avoid nailing right on the edge to avoid cracking as the planks are thin and light. Use a level to get them straight. We put these on yellow walls and no yellow shows through- no need to prepaint walls with this particular kind of plank as there were no cracks or holes. The planks were very uniform, most were exactly the same width and thickness, a few just a hair thicker but the beauty is in the imperfection of the barn wall look. I do not live in a humid area, and mine are not buckling or cupping or coming off the walls like some reviews. NOTE that each 6 pack plank set comes with ONE cut piece (some reviewers called this a starter/end piece) so you will have 5 planks at 4 ft long and one that is 4 ft long cut in two- just something to be aware of. We installed them in random length pattern so many of the 4 ft ones we cut anyway. These white planks also DO NOT smell bad to me, but like fresh wood, which is pleasant. Possibly the darker stained sets have a more chemical smell. Overall recommend these. Easy to install and lovely finished product.

This product was great packing sucked when I picked it up and some boards were only a foot long, there where nails in only one box and three packs were packed in one box. Besides not knowing if I got all I ordered and some boards short it worked really well.

Love the look of these planks, easy to use and cut. My only issue is if using an air nailer to install, practice on a piece for adjustment to air pressure and watch how close to the edge you nail. I had several pieces split.

I did two big walls with these planks and compared prices of many different options out there, most are closer to $10/sq or more, so this is a good low cost option for getting a nice feature wall, but in reality this is really just white paint over planks thats been stripped off in some spots to make it look distressed, the overall result is ok but the color variation you see in the main product photos are not really what you get. I ordered 400 sq. ft and it is mostly just a plain white with some distressing but not true color variation except for a few random planks. The lighting in one of the pictures actually makes it look better than it really is as far as the variation. The planks vary quite a bit in height mostly by 1/16 some by 1/8", so if you are looking for a perfect, tight fit this isn't the right product for you, its meant to look more rough and rustic and has some gaps when installed. To install in my Florida home with metal studs I put up 1/4" plywood to the studs first to give a good nailing surface for the planks and it worked great. THe product was easy to work and the overall result looks pretty good. For the money, its great bang for the buck but if you want high variation in color I would look at other products.

The planks were well made and very easy to install, I did the project by myself and borrowed the hubbies finish nail gun and it worked like a champ. The assortment in the packages adds enough variety to make a wall look very nice.

I had it installed in my bathroom and it looks great. Everyone loves the space

Job completed. See photo. What did we learn: 1. Planks are not the same size. Be prepared to measure and cut all planks. 2. It is stated that 6 planks are in the box. This is true however, there are 4 that are 4' x 5" x 1/4" and 1 that is approximately 30" x 5" x 1/4" and 1 that is approximately 18" x 5" x 1/4". My opinion: there may be a valid reason for this, but I think they should all be 4' x 5" x 1/4". I think I should receive 6 all the same size and I'll be responsible for determining the eventual length I require. 3. The planks are too thin. The supplied brads penetrate right through. We placed scraps from the cut planks over the desired plank and then nailed it into place. Brad went through the scrap but not the one on the wall. 4. We put three horizontal beads of glue of every plank. The planks are dry / brittle so we hope that this will solve our concern of cupping. Our fingers are crossed. The planks are not flimsy, but you can easily snap them in half like a cracker. Why three stars? 1. No plank arrived with the same dimension. Irrespective of whether the technical information said so or not, they were not. It was stated 4' x 5" x 1/4", that is the expectation that should not have a deviation whatsoever. I think it is reasonable to believe that this is a minimum of expectations. 2. The thickness, while clearly stated in the information, has left a lack of confidence in the longevity of the product. In other words, should the quality of the product be enhanced so as not have a concern as to whether it necessary to nail or glue or both. To be clear, the aesthetics of the product exceeded our expectations, however, the installation process was not smooth and lead to the above concerns. As info: we installed directly from the box. We did not treat the planks with any material. The only thing we did to the planks after removing them from the boxes was measure, cut, glue, then apply to the wall with a nail gun. We all like the “look.” The master craftsmen who performed the install are proud of their work. So are we as owners. Clearly, the professional quality of the workmanship contributed 100% to the final result. Obviously, it can be done, but I’m not sure this should be a beginners, weekend project. Both experience and the correct / proper tools are required.

Review posted during install: all planks needed to be remeasured and cut to fit. Multiple versions were purchased, the number of boxes for each version also varied. This is unfortunate as for this size of implementation; 400sq ft, additional boxes will need to be ordered (true, a minimal number of boxes, but still disappointing) and it will take more time to complete. Note: we are installing these planks in a herringbone pattern, thereby requiring all planks to measure exactly the same size. We are still anticipating a wonderful “look” but the claim that all planks are the same thickness, width (in some cases, 5/16, too much, not used) and length is not valid. ALL PLANKS WILL NEED TO BE REMILLED. We cut the length and, to a degree the width, thickness is what it is and actually leads to the “randomness.” We are extremely fortunate to have a GC and associated sub that takes such pride in their work!! We painted the backing wall black to account for shrinkage, this would seem to be prudent. We are applying a bead of glue, then using similar nails as provided.

These planks are beautiful and lightweight. They are more for simple projects that don't need to be precise. As you can see in my photo there are gaps between the planks. It was perfect for what my mom wanted in her room, a horse in a stable. The planks are very easy to work with.

Easy to cut, easy to install and looks great!

The product is good. The problem is we ordered 3 different types of these planks so we would have a variety and mix of planks. We ordered the: 1 box of gray 1 box of Brown and 3 boxes of Brown,Black and Gray. They ALL looked the same patina and color.... The grain was different. So, we improvised and flipped boards on our own. Other than that, easy to work with, kinda stinky but that's expected from reclaimed wood.

I am in love with my wall. We having finished yet. So far so good!!

I ordered 3 packs of these wall planks to use for a barn door. When I opened the packages, I found that 1 out of the 6 planks were cut into 2 pieces (30" and 18"). I wanted a streamlined look and because I have 3 planks that I can't use, I need to order another pack! These planks do smell when you open the box, so air them out!. Otherwise, there was no warping and the planks were evenly cut. Just disappointed that there weren't 6 full length boards.

Installs easily using an air brad nailer. Looks great.

We highly recommend this product and it came out exactly as planned. My husband installed 16 cases on a feature wall in two days. It added lots of texture and interest; opened up the space. LOVE IT.
