My husband loves his Kegerator! Would recommend it for any beer loving person

My wife bought it for me for christmas. Nice looking. Great CO2 mechanics buuuuut... It says it fits a half keg but it doesn't tell you it won't fit Miller or Coors kegs. Therefore door wouldn't close. Kegerator worked overtime. Froze. Leaked through my ceiling into my daughters bedroom. WASTE. OF. MY. TIME.

I really love the fresh beer out of the keg(orator) but to operate the unit and to keep the beer at the right temperature and pressure is rather a lot of pain and hassle. As a lot of other reviewers outlined the regulator is of pretty cheap quality and it leaks CO2 on the connection to the CO2 bottle. I tried different ways but just do not get the connection sealed in a way that I don’t loose CO2. I am only on my first 50 liter keg but already well into the second bottle of CO2. In addition it is important that you monitor the temperature in the unit regularly since it does not stay at the same temperature and also the proposed setting between 4 and 5 makes it far too cold (fat below the recommended 38 F. I bought two thermometers and as outlined by others the temperature is indeed different between the upper part of the Kegorator and the lower part. People recommend to instal a fan but I would say this adds to the cost of the Kegorator but even more important is just more or less a walk around to mitigate problems that this Kegorator has. Finally, if you think that you save money by buying kegs be aware of that at least in our area (Chicagoland) kegs are far more expensive than buying the same beer volume via cans or bottles and considering the cost of the Kegorator and CO2 getting your beer out of the Keg will cost you far more. So the only plus is that the beer is indeed more fresh and tastes better (if you figured out how to mitigate the pressure and temperature issues) but due to the issues I am unfortunately not really able to recommend this product.

Overall, this is a great kegerator, awesome value. It comes with everything you'll need (you will have to fill the CO2 cylinder). The only issue I see is that it will only chill the beer down to about 38 degrees liquid temp. Other than that, its geeat.

Bought this unit to replace an 6 year old EdgeStar BR2000 that finally failed. The new KC2000 is so much better made. All of the components seem to have been upgraded and the unit works as advertised. The temperature is easy to regulate and this unit does have the ability to make your beer ice cold, unlike my previous model. The complaints that have been registered by other owners seem to have been resolved over the past few years. I have not found one negative listed in previous reviews that applies to the new unit. You can't beat this product for the price.

100% satisfied thus far with my purchase. Easy to assembly. Easy to pour. Would never go without.

Don't waste you money on this unit. I've had it for just about two years and the regulator went first and now the refrigerator unit has died. EdgeStar knows it's a cheap unit other wise they wouldn't offer extended warranties after the 90 day labor 1-year parts "warranty" is up. Do your self a favor and buy a decent refrigerator and the components you need and make your own. This unit was bought to replace a homemade one that came out of a fraternity house (so you know it was well taken care of). I gave it to my nephew and it's still working...my EdgeStar didn't make it 1/10th as long. Buyer beware...

Keep it outside in 90 degree weather in Florida and it works great

I purchased this Keg for my Bday and love it. The directions are not that clear but overall it gets the job done. Just adjust the co2 a little and your good.

I own a tavern and my old tap beer cooler bit the dust. The only thing that I don't like about this one is not having the overflow drain on it. It just has a drain pan that you have to dump. The beer is ice cold when it is poured.

So far I have really enjoyed this kegarator. It is priced nicely and was fairly easy to put together. The only issue I really had was that I didn't put one of the rubber washers on perfectly where you attach the wing nut for the keg tap and I got sprayed a couple times until I got it right. It worked best by having the coupler flat, placing the rubber washer on perfectly, then placing the metal tube opening perfectly on top of the washer, and THEN bringing the wing nut down and tightening. But other than that I have been really happy with the product!

Perfect size, big enough for a 1/2 keg but small enough so it doesn’t take up a whole room. I love it!

I bought this for my husband's birthday. It arrived the very next day! Super easy to put together. Wish the instructions were a bit more detailed and larger print. Great value for the money and best of all the beer is COLD!

Main complaint is that the temperature will not go below 40 degrees. Add to this that the first kegerator I received would not power on and not a great experience. Replacement only took about a week or so. The beer is still good. Just not as good as it could be. Spend more money and hopefully get a better one.

I bought this kegerator about a month ago. So far, I love it. It is very quiet, and there hasn't been a noticeable increase in my electric bill. A few things. I forgot to put a gasket in for my sanke keg, nor did I put thread sealant tape on said connection, and it had leaked a bit. But through this process, I learned it is very easy to clean! So there is that! Once I actually added the gasket, and put thread sealing tape on it, I have had zero problems! My one complaint about it, and maybe I will try to fix this once I replace my current keg, is that the pressure gauge on C02 tank is facing towards the away from the front, so if I want to check the pressure, I have to move it forwards to see. I think that can be adjusted, though. I will see.

The only reason for the four stars is the difficulty we had in setting it up originally. The lines it came with didn't correspond well with the limited and hard to understand directions. We also had to problem solve to realize the equipment it came with to tap the keg was for a domestic keg, so we had to order and wait for the one we needed, since we drink Stella. Once we got it up and functioning though, it works well and we are happy with the purchase.

Nice,moderern compact design. Came in one week. I have had it for 2 months. Had to change to the domestic coupler for my Heineken and then stella kegs. Such a convenience to have this. It works great. Air tank inside saves space. And it looks nice in my kitchen.

I really love my kegerator. I just wish I would have bought the double tap, now I have to buy the conversion kit.

The washers on the unit are too small to provide a good seal and takes several try’s to get a new tank running. I should have shopped around before I purchased it

Great Item but, will not fit half barrels unless you dent the barrel up.
