It does exactly what you need it to do. I had to mount my TV on the wall and it was so easy with this item to make sure everything was straight.

This has 3 bubble vials for working in any position and the center bubble vial has a top-read window cut through the aluminum frame for times when you are above it instead of in front of it. One great thing about this Empire level is that it is made in the good old USA!!!

This 24" Empire aluminum level is lightweight, yet the aluminum is thick and strong. The bubble levels are not adjustable but I found them to be very accurate when comparing readings. I especially like the hand hole near the middle of the level. This 24" level only includes level and plumb bubbles; no 45 degree bubble level is included. The level does not include a magnetic strip either.

I like this level. It is very light and seems durable. The bubbles are large enough that my aging eyes can glance and see if all is true from an arms length if needed. The bubbles are well protected to keep from accidental breakage. I have other Empire tools and levels and find them to be my go to tools. They are also Made in America which is important to me. I only rated this a 4 because I would have liked a bubble at a 45' angle. The three bubbles are only horizontal and perpendicular to the level length.

Very sturdy and well built level. The aluminum has a nice weight to it. Aesthetically pleasing to look at and hold. The end caps act as bumpers in case of rough handling or accidental drops. I like that the level has three positions so you can maneuver it without contorting your arms or hands. It comes with a built in handle and hanger port for storage and travel. Just a really nice level. You can use it to hang anything from pictures to TVs and lots more in between.

This is a simple, no-frills level of an I-beam style. Reasonable priced, it also lacks some of the features found in a higher-priced type level. For example, the ends are simple hard plastic, not rubber, for protection against banging or dropping. There is no protective glass over the bubble vials, so damage could occur with extended usage. The vials are mounted in plastic and the grip is also plastic (probably PVC), so could experience problems being more brittle in very cold weather, or expansion and distortion in very hot conditions. A couple of the aluminum edges are a bit sharp, which could scratch finished wood surfaces. There is no engraved or printed ruler on the edge This level has a couple benefits however: It is made in USA, and it professes to be slightly more accurate than other brands, and it has a “Limited Lifetime Warranty” however, I’m not sure what that really means. This should be a good workable level for homeowners, but you may find ones that you like better for the same price.

This Empire 24" Aluminum I-Beam Level is a very useful size.  I only had 9" and 48" levels before and so many times, one was too short and the other too long.   Now that I have this 24" Empire level, I find that most times it is the one I use because its size works for most of my projects.   Not only that, but it is well-made with a heavy-duty metal aluminum frame and has impact - resistant caps on the ends to protect it and keep it accurate.  The see-through windows are large enough to see the vials clearly and very easy to read.  There is even a window on the top so the vial can be viewed from overhead.   There is a cutout to carry it securely and a hole for hanging for storage - both very convenient features!    This is a high-quality, durable, reasonably priced and useful sized level AND it is made in the USA !

The 24 in. Aluminum I-Beam Level was the right size of level for my smaller DIY projects. I have already used it to build a level set of timber and paver steps, to level an entry mirror and recheck the level of our washer and dryer. It is easy to use for horizontal and vertical leveling and even comes with a top read window for easy viewing. It has an all metal frame that makes it a very durable product. I have had it for almost two weeks and certainly met my expectations.

Good, lightweight level that makes it easy to carry around. The frame appears very sturdy with a built in handle along with easy to read site gauges with black markings to determine the level. The frame is labeled with the length and width of the level. The side of the level has a convenient slot to view the site gauge.I can highly recommend this tool.

Excellent level that's built well and sure to last. The 48" length comes with handle holes and hard impact plastic ends. Provides leveling in both the horizontal and vertical positions. The level is made of aluminium that making this a lightweight tool to carry around your worksite. The level tubes are yellow that provides a nice contrast against the white plastic mounting.

This Empire 500-48 level is light weight. I like the viewing slot cut in the top to be able to view the middle bubble. It is made of aluminum I beam material and seems sturdy. It has plastic lined handles built in. I have been needing a 4 foot level and I would recommend this one. This model proudly displays MADE IN USA. It's nice to be able to buy American made products.

Really appreciate my Empire levels. I have used a 4 foot one that has been so easy to use and accurate. I needed a smaller one and the 2 foot fits the bill perfectly. Unlike the 4 foot one though this 2 footer does not have machine marks on its surfaces. I looks to be extruded and sandblasted. Appears pretty accurate though. I really like the hand hold with its plastic insert that makes it so easy to hold and carry. The hanging slot is large enough to make it easy, no struggle to find the hole. I did find one negative although most would consider it minor but being a retired toolmaker it was very noticeable to me. The very ends, the bubble slot and the hanging slot are sharp, very sharp. If the ends or bubble slot are bumped slightly it will throw a burr that WILL affect accuracy and that is why I rated Quality as Good and not Excellent. I simply filed the edges round and de-burred the hanging slot for safety. Build everything level and safe my friend.

This is a fantastic 4 foot aluminum level. I finally replaced my 20 year aluminum level. One of the viasl was off-level so I only had one to use. The level is much stouter than the old one. It is lightweight but beefy. The vials are big and easy to read. The best feature is the hole in the top of the beam so you cal look straight down on it to level horizontal services. That is such a great idea. The plastic end caps are great to for reducing the shock of dropping or setting down the level, helping it stay accurate. I look forward to 20+ years of service from my new level.

I just realized that the product photos do not correctly show the product, the images show a blue body, but more importantly, they appear to show adjustment screws for the spirit levels, but the actual model sold in the stores is just a bare aluminum color with plastic insert spirit levels that are not adjustable. It is good basic level accurate enough for the home user.

This level was lightweight and very well made. Even though it was a cheaper price than others, the product did not seem cheap at all.

I haven’t purchased a level in ages. But my old 24” has seen better days, especially getting knocked around the toolbox during a few long distance moves. So after researching decent, homeowner quality options, I settled on this empire as best bang for the buck and found HD pricing to be as good or better than others. Anyway, it arrived well protected in its box and has been perfectly fine for my needs, most recently adding some shelves to our closet. If I need a 48” model, I’ll definitely consider empire.

I was just looking for one of the same length (24") because the plastic one I had broke in a very odd way. Now the frame on this is aluminum and guaranteed this one won't brake. Perfect and great price. Thank you.
