Make the job much, much easier.

Great square for the price. Very sturdy and looks great.

The small dimension and clear markings on this square make it suitable for close quarters. I like the fact that it has a small pencil notch in the corner to hold the square steady, but the metal surface still proved quite slippery, so I had to focus on holding the square carefully when marking material. It has a handy hole for storing on a nail and since it's made of metal it should last awhile. I thought it was fairly priced.

cheap stamped framing square with an annoying shiny plastic(?) coating...

Performs as expected. Durability in environments with moisture is unsatisfactory. If it just rusted that would be fine, but some sort of coating de-laminated and made markings unreadable. I would rate this at 3 stars but it’s I still think this is a decent buy for the price and should last well stored in lost garages.

Small but does the job for small right angle cuts. Good price for what it is.
