This kit contained everything I needed to install a new gas range on my existing supply line with a manual shutoff valve. The instructions were pretty straightforward. Just needed two wrenches and got a solid, leak-free connection. The flex connector is epoxy coated stainless steel and the fittings are heavy brass. I liked getting the test solution and pipe thread tape included so I didn't have to make a trip to the hardware store.

I did get this product for a project up range in November to replace the gas line on my oven range and convert it to use propane upon getting the product i did inspect the line and components and they did appear to be of Good quality parts and i was a bit skeptical by the photo of of product on HD site of the yellow looked like plastic gas line as a new trend but when i got it it was all metal and heavy duty of good make. this is my Pre review on the product updated review after my planned conversion from Natural gas to propane so i am going to keep it air tight in the package to keep dust and things from getting inside of it

This is a convenient way to get all the pieces needed to plumb you gas range to your gas source. Everything needed, including pipe sealant and leak testing fluid is included. I do recommend adding a valve approved for gas on the supply line this kit will be hooked to allow turning off the gas to your range without shutting down any other gas appliances. Plus the added benefit of this kit is the automatic shut off in the event of the line getting broken, preventing a potential catastrophic explosion!

Brass connectors don’t fit

I bought this connector kit for my new GE gas stovetop as recommended by Home Depot. When the Home Depot installer was setting it up, he said it hose diameter was the wrong size. I had to go back to Home Depot and get the proper hose.

the sales personnel at Missoula Home Depot sold me the wrong connecting hose for the stove which I purchased there. I had to purchase another one from the installer at Hamilton Montana

Had to use the hard to find fittings to attach to a clothes dryer. The kit included the yellow Teflon tape, so I didn’t have to purchase separately.
