This lid is not for a 10 inch pot and the specs are misleading. I was very disappointed when I opened the box and saw how small it was. It dropped right in the middle of the pot!

The glass lid was too small for the 8-quart Farberware pot I had purchased at the same time. I was under the impression that since a glass lid was offered simultaneously with the 8-quart pot I ordered, it would be the size of the pot I purchased.

Lid did not fit
I ordered a new lid for our 6.5 qt pot, because the knob rusted out and the glass lid needed a new knob. When I called in, I was told I could not buy a new knob, but would need the whole replacement lid. I then ordered the lid. When it arrived, the lid was 12"" wide, and 2"" too big to fit the pot. So I took off the knob, and put it on the old lid.

Exactly what I wanted.
I love Farberware and choose them over all other products. Some pans are very heavy and require two hands to lift. Handles on Farberware are easy to hold and. only require one hand. A terrific product!

Glass Lid for Classic Farberware Pan

I Love This Product!
Needed a nice glass lid so I could see the food while it was cooking. This lid fit my pan perfectly and the handle stays cool. Great product!

EXACTLY WHAT i WAS LOOKING FOR!
I bought the 12 inch pan as part of a set of 2 pans. But, neither one of them came with a lid. I was glad that I could at least order the lid for the 12 inch pan---and it was see-through which is a plus!!!

Love that it does not have a pressure release hole...
Love that it does not have a pressure release hole or valve in the lid. Makes cooking dry beans easy, which is why I bought this particular lid.

I was having a hard time finding a replacement lid for my 12 pan and found this web site. Their customer rep was very friendly and helpful on the phone. The lid came packaged very well and I am really happy with it. My experience with this company is positive.

These are a PERFECT fit for the pans! I bought two 12" lids that I was unsure if they would fit one slop sided pan and one vertical sided pan. They did fit great. Not a so-so fit. Seemed like it came with the pot. Good quality, clear lid is very nice. I would definitely buy these again. Home Depot was fast and friendly.

I was told by Farberware that these lids would not fit my 2 pans. But I decided to try them anyway, since they were half the price of a competitors brand. They fit perfectly, on my straight sided pan & the slope sided one. I like glass lids to see how things look without the steam escaping. Knob is easy to use and does not get warm. Recommend this item.

I'll buy this product again.
I shattered my glass lid (purchased about 2002). Love new lid I received, as knob is bigger, easier to handle...and it is less hit to touch as old knob.
