Home Depot will sell you the boards Nantucket Gray but they don't carry the Cortex hidden fastener that matches Nantucket Gray. I called customer support and was told to file a complaint with corporate and the lady hang up. They carry a generic gray which doesn't match. I was willing to drive a 100 miles to any store that has it and I was told to contact the manufacturer. I found what i needed on the home depot website internet # 316100047 ordered it and the order was canceled few hours later.

This product worked out great, easy to cut and much better looking then pressure treated wood.

Deck boards worked well on my front and side porch ceilings. My Carpenter and I liked the results. And the carpenter bees appear not to be attracted to PVC. They were eating up my previous ceiling boards.

It was very easy to assemble my deck with Fiberon boards.

I installed this product 9 years, it bubbled in the surface now. I am very disappoint.

This is the first time I have used composite decking using the hidden fastener system. It installs easily and the hidden fasteners are definitely the way to go. My hot tub deck is 12' x 12', I was able to handle length easily with no assistance. Color is consistent in batches as I need 3 more lengths to complete project. Use the special composite saw blade to trim ends when done, which cuts like butter and gives you a clean cut and look.

Very easy to work with for a DIY-er, though strongly recommended to have a buddy to help hold the board straight when attaching the connectors. Cuts very nicely with a circular saw or jigsaw to clean up overhang at the ends and to make the last piece fit up against the house. As other reviewers have mentioned, ends do not come square from factory, so leave a little overhang on both sides to trim off if you want it perfect. Fully compatible with Trex Hideaway Universal Hidden Fasteners, or generic equivalent, which I think are simpler and easier than the suggested Fiberon ArmorGuard Hidden Deck Fasteners. Of course, either one will give you nice clean lines with a fraction of the effort of nailing/screwing into the boards, so can't really go wrong. You'll notice the boards have a lot of flex to them trying to carry them, but as long as your joists are correctly spaced, you won't feel that at all walking on them once they're secured. Surface is smooth enough for barefoot, though gets hot under the midday summer sun. Variegated color looks nice; for best results lay all the boards out before you start securing and see if you want to swap any around. All in all, exactly what I wanted.

I used these composite deck boards on a small deck project. They are comprised of a composite material with three sides laminated with a thin colored vinyl material. The vinyl lamination resists stains, mildew and the manufacturer says it won't fade. The deck boards are easy to cut. One criticism is that the bottom of the boards have a corrugated profile so the ends of the boards look bad. I solved this problem by mitering (like a picture frame) boards around the outside of the deck and the stairs which not only looks great but covers the ends of the field boards. (see picture) To keep the mitered ends from pulling up above each other I routed a groove in the angled end of each facing board and inserted a spline that I cut from the same material. I added some polyurethane glue to the spline before inserting it into the grooves. Overall, I would recommend this composite deck board. It looks great and is easy to work with.

WE TOOK OUR TIME AND WORKED AT OUR LEISURE, TOOK FROM MAY TILL JULY AND IT CAME OUT GREAT..VERY EARY TO DO..WHAT AN UPGRADE FROM OLD WOODEN DECK,..NOW HAVE TREX GREY FLOOR WITH WHITE RAILING AND WHITE SOLAR LIGHTS ON IT, SO BRIGHT..

I just completed a 12'x14' deck surface with this product. This is a fairly standard composite material, wood "flour" mixed with recycled plastics, that has been "capped" on three sides with a thicker all-plastic layer. This plastic layer is supposed improve water resistance by sealing the top and sides and thus increase the mold, mildew & stain resistance. The bottom of each single-sided board is not capped with plastic. Early reviews of these newer capped boards suggest they should wear longer than traditional all composite materials. Of course, since I just completed my project there's no way to review that aspect. I did think the material cut easily and smoothly and even ripping the 12 foot board down its length was relatively painless. I used the Trex "universal" hidden fasteners with this installation, they're half the price of the Veranda brand but are nylon and not the stainless of the Veranda brand. I also used the Veranda AG gray stainless screws for the border boards and they sank smoothly and recessed easily. On the whole, I'm pleased with the product. Now it's time to see how it holds up in the fierce Colorado sunshine.

Great looking and durable, perhaps a little too flexible

Excellent quality item and well worth the money. Easy to cut, install, and maintain. Once installed, there’s no sanding or staining. Just a damp mop to clean. So if you think about it, this product is basically cheaper to own then tradional pressure treated material.

My wife and I absolutely love it. I like the fact that it comes in 12' lengths also

This was very easy to cut and to install the only question now is longevity.
