Hi, your concerns are important to us, you can try the following steps
a) Check the router SSID configuration. Some new routers have a mode that keeps switching the connection from 2.4GHz to 5GHz automatically and this can cause connection interruptions.
b) These routers can usually create a IoT SSID that stays on a dedicated frequency 2.4GHz or 5GHz.
c) The device may also be too far from the router to maintain a connection. Check the signal bars located in Wi-Fi Signal Strength in the Device Details page of the First Alert App.
d) If it has poor signal strength, relocate the device or router closer if possible or install a Wi-Fi extender in an AC outlet to improve Wi-Fi coverage.- Maria
