I have 5 of these hose reels installed about 4 years ago. One will not retract at all, three of the others are a struggle at best, and one out of 5 works as advertised. However, the one operational does not get much use. Silicon does not help.

This retractable air hose is the perfect length to reach out to the driveway. I mounted it to the ceiling in the garage and it is out of the way but still very handy. Definitely worth the money.

The hose reel was easy to install and light weight! No problems so far.

I was willing to live with the cheap plastic housing, but expected brass male couplers on the air hose. This unit is advertised with brass male couplers in the pictures, but has plastic ones instead.

I receive this as a gift a couple years ago and every time I have to pull it out I dread the thought of complete exhaustion on getting it back in the real maybe I got a dud but it's a good thing this was a gift because every time I have to fight it back in .

I like this. It mounts easily on the wall. I like the flexible hose so I don't have to untangle everything each time I use it. It will lock at various lengths. Pull the hose until you hear the clicking and stop pulling. It stays in place. It is easy to rewind and goes completely back into the container. Wish I would have ordered it sooner.

I love this air hose. I got it for a song when a local hardware store went out of business. Very flexible even when it gets cold and it doesn't kink. I would buy this again in a second. The only thing (small thing) I don't like is the case is *just* big enough. To get the cord to fully retract I have to feed it slowly and side to side so that it doesn't overlap and get stuck on the housing (if that makes sense).

Perfect hose and reel. No more clutter of a hose on the ground collecting girt and wood dust. Love it. Thanks

IF you are looking for a light-weight, durable hose reel that simply works, stop looking you have found it!! My son in-law is an auto mechanic at a very busy garage and they actually use ZillaReels there as well. The reel is extremely easy to mount in several configurations and is designed to pull out easily and lock at the precise length required. It is amazing how light and easy to handle this hose is, especially compared to more conventional hoses, such as rubber and others. This air reel is a nice addition to my shop, I've had it a few month's now and the more I use it, the more I like it, the is nice and flexible, Reeling it in or out it works very smooth, no hang up's or stopping like some other's I've used. Very easy to mount, and the way it's made, you can mount it just about any where, mine is on the back leg of my work bench. I would definitely recommend this reel.
