Because this is taller I have extra door space, which I prefer. Easy to find what I’m looking for and it takes up less space in our basement. Very happy with our purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy I made the choice to buy this had one of the freezer chest couldn't see what was in the or when I made groceries I would have to pull everything from the bottom to go on top it opens like a refrigerator it gets extremely cold so much space very well lit light wise it fits perfectly in the corner of my garage good space on the doors and the racks allows you to stack a good amount of food per rack and it's a nice size rack at the bottom for catch all ..lol love this freezer now I don't dread going in the freezer like I did before it allows you to see everything at one time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my new purchase. I had a freezer that was over 40 years old and still kicking but felt it was time to get rid of it. After days of researching freezers, this one seemed to fill all my needs. I love the interior light , it’s very spacious inside and having the green external light letting me know that everything is working just fine with the unit. I have several Frigidaire appliances and hope to purchase others in the near future but this one has not disappointed me. I use it as a secondary freezer to keep extra items purchased and I love homemade applesauce so I was able to fill it easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's awfully hard to get excited about an upright freezer, after all it's about as utilitarian a device as any. But, here goes: Based on the reviews of all the competitors products, there were some things that we felt were important such as (1) a well lit interior (check!), (2) organizing bins of effective sizes that make the best use of a 13 cu-ft interior (double check!!), (3) a door that didn't require a crow-bar to open (super-check!!!). There is a green LED at the floor to verify power, and I at first found this a bit odd (since the smell of burning candles makes power outages hard to forget), but then it clicked that a tripped breaker on a seldomly opened appliance could easily be missed long enough for $$$ of food to spoil. I appreciate that little detail. Overall this appears to be a very good value and so far is helping stretch our food budget by allowing for bulk purchases. One last thing, the annual addition to your electric bill is about $60 (or $5/mo), so this must be deducted from the benefit. I should probably sell a few of the apple pies I froze ;-)

The freezer size works great for me. Happy that I can again stock up on items and access them easily in the upright design instead of a chest freezer.

The door is not sealing at the top when shut. I’ve put sticks in between door and rubber seal to prevent frost accumulation inside. I am Very unhappy with this !!

My mom loves it so much. It has space for everything so my mom is super happy with it

Works quietly and efficiently. True to its description, NO FROST! Fits neatly in a corner. Love it!

I bought this freezer 10 months ago to a chest freezer. I’m able to see what’s in it at a glance. The freezer is equipped with an external light that lets one know that it is running. I had no idea up until today just how handy that feature would be. I had stuffed the freezer with over 230 pounds of beef. A few hours later the light started blinking, alerting me that there was an issue with the temperature in the freezer. I was able to resolve the issue (user error) quickly, averting a disaster.

This stand up deep freezer is exactly want I was looking! It has great space, nice shelving, and I love the side shelves as well! Frigidaire is a great brand so what other company was going to deliver the quality needed? Glad I went with them. I’ve had it running for about three weeks and no issues. I now can reach all the food in my deep freezer conveniently. You won’t be disappointed!

Have owned a Frigidaire upright in the past and it was a workhorse. Hopefully this one has the same longevity and performance.

We purchased on 4/24/22. Been married for 20 years and had multiple chest freezers.Going with this freezer was definitely a mistake. Within the first month we lost everything. Called and repairs were made and problem was fixed so we thought. A year later still dealing with this issue. At 2:00 am I hear the door alarm on the freezer going off because the freezer isn’t freezing and causes the door to come open. Again everything ruined, garden veggies, deer meat, fish. Continuous coils freezing

The panel at the rear of the compartment distributes the cooling evenly to all shelves and door racks. The interior light is bright and more useful than I realized. Love the green "power on" indicator light. At a quick glance you know the power is on and all is well. Attained desired temperature quickly and recovers fast after the door has been opened. Love the fact that I never ever have to defrost again.

Haven't had it very long but it is so much better than the old chest freezer it replaced, now, I don't have to dig food out for the bottom of the chest freezer to see what we have or what we need. This upright has plenty of shelves and a basket in the bottom under the shelves. I also like the multiple shelves in the door. I wish we got the next size up, however, when the chest freezer died, we needed something fast and within our budget. Thanks, Frigidaire.

I love the features on my new freezer, the power light and the signal that lets you know if door is ajar and the price was right!

The "Recommended" temperature setting on the dial is truly the correct temperature, and everything is staying well frozen on all the shelves. We like the little green LED light at the bottom of the freezer that displays that the freezer is doing its job. And, our freezer is located in the garage, so at night it's a nice little glow that provides just a little bit of a night light. We couldn't be happier with this well designed and built freezer.
