I didn’t like it and was worried that it would catch fire

Blanket was too small to go around heater

Purchased this, when I got home I took it out of the package only to find out that the vinyl tape that was supposed to be included was not in the package and I had already thrown the packaging away, so I had to spend some extra money to get tape.

Went to put this on my brand new tank that was just purchased last Wednesday. Followed the instructions supplied but the supplied tape would not stick to the tank. I even tried aluminum tape and this wouldn't even stick. A waste of $32.00

Said it fit up to 60 gallons, ours was 40 gallons and it only fit 3/4 the way up

neglected to put this on with water heater change, (last heater had run 3 years over warranty) noticed a difference how far the temp control had to go up especially in the winter months. more water stays hotter longer

No changes necessary to operation.

Pathetic and dangerous overpriced piece of junk.

We used it for our beer keg to keep it cold. It worked really well

the hot water would cool down from the morning to the evening when no one was home. Not now when we get in from work the hot water is still hot, no warm up time.

Tip on tape peel it out as you use it so that you can peel off another piece..if u cut off w/o peeling very difficult to take apart ..the 48 inch was enuf for 40 gal..only used 2/3 of it

Can not fit a 50 or 80 gal , No truth in advertising. Will not buy again.

It was exactly as advertised, works great

With the cost of natural gas services, I'm trying to save money. I won't know for sure until this summer if I'm cutting cost. I can tell you that I did turn down the temperature on the water heater because the temperature did increase.

Cheap material and construction. It fell apart while trying to install

Easy to install. It comes with tape that actually sticks better than duct tape which is what I used as well. My electric water heater is in an unheated basement/garage under the main level of my home. Average temp down there is 40 degrees year round and I thought this might help with the water heater. Can't hurt and time will tell. It could be a couple of inches longer than the 72" to fit a 60 gallon tank. It just makes it but then compresses the insulation more than I think it should.

Looks like a good cover for the hot water heater but it didn’t exactly fit the way it should

Fairly straightforward, wasn't quite enough to cover the top of unit. I bought some stickier tape to finish the job.

I haven't had it installed yet. Also, it will require time before l will know how well it is working.
