I really like my GE slate refrigerator I had the same type model 5 years ago although I really liked my older model because it was sleeker, the handles on this one or boxy compared to my older model. They were much more tapered. This new fridge I have makes a noise when the freezer kicks in. I don’t care for that. I purchased the same one because I liked it, I also have aGE electric stove recently bought.

Love the design! The frame has a curve finish, not like other products that look just like a box.

We've only had it for a day, but very happy with it. Not a huge fridge but perfect for 2 people.

Received delivery yesterday. Simple (no ice maker or water dispenser) attractive design, quiet appliance unlike my previous (another make). Like the center cabinet centered on the bottom of the top shelf, allows for tall items to be stored on all three shelves. Sides and top are black would have preferred gray to blend better with the stainless steel front. Hopefully it will last a while.

Vegetable bin is too small . Should have side handles instead of front handles.

So far I love this refrigerator! The door to the refrigerator is gloss black, it looks really nice, the inside with Led lighting is super bright,

This is a large spacious refrigerator & freezer. The cooling temperature is great for the food I store in it. It's very, very spacious.

Keep everything cold and fresh, very spacious inside

This unit is in a property that a family member rents out. The first day that I went over there, to do some work, I stopped in advance, to grab some food. Being vegan, there weren't a lot of options on the shelf, so I got some frozen items. When I got to the house, I wanted to get some work done first, but I opened the freezer to put my items in, only to realize that it had been unplugged. I remembered rolling my eyes and thinking, 'WOW, what I bought was ended up being a bad idea, after all.' I plugged the unit in, and went to work with the help that I had promised. I checked back on the unit, well inside of an hour, expecting it to only be possibly slightly cool, but was pleasantly surprised to find that the refrigerator and freezer were at more than acceptable temperatures to maintain my food well. Also, in less than an hour, the refrigerator was well chilled, and the freezer was actually at freezing temperature. While I don't know the exact amount that my relative paid for this unit, I would expect it was not the same as the top of the line units, as this is not one; however, I was extremely impressed with this unit's performance. I gave this unit a four out of five stars, simply because there is no ice maker present. On second look, it appears as though there migbt be a plug-in for an ice maker. So, maybe that was optional, and they didn't get it. Had that been in place, and had I been able to give you a review on how quickly it started kicking out ice, after I plugged it in, I would feel comfortable giving it a 5 out of 5 6 out of five or even 7 out of five, were those last two even possible. I should add,, I believe that this refrigerator has been at the property, 2 or more years, I feel certain that it has been there at least 1, and I wasn't sure if it was unplugged, because it was not working. Again, pleasantly surprised.

This refrigerator fits our needs perfectly. We’ve had good experiences with GE appliances over the years. Very happy with this product.

This was my first time ever purchasing a refrigerator. And I am beyond happy about my choice. It's the perfect size for a family of two. It's very clean with a ton of different compartments that are easy to move. It is very quiet and easy to clean.

This is a great “no frills” second refrigerator for the garage. The installers were kind enough to reverse the doors as the standard left side door handles would not work in our garage.

We previously had GE refrigerator for over 10 years and it was still running super smooth but because of normal wear and tear plus two kiddos slamming doors and scratches all over the fridge we finally decided to invest in another GE to last us forever.

The freezer evaporator fan went out after 18 months.Called GE and it cost me $279 to replace as they don't stand behind their product or parts. Now the compressor makes a loud buzzing sound.I'd rather purchase another brand then put any more money into it

I’m not sure yet. It’s ok just like my old one but different model. My GE New fried is clean inside, but outside it were a couple of dents and it was dirty and had a couple of flaws. I feel like I just got a gentle used fridge. I decided to keep it to avoid any delivery delays. It’s not my ideal fridge but it will due.

Very happy with my purchase. I thought the price was fair, had overall great reviews and was just the size we were looking for. We're using it in our garage to hold drinks and other things that we don't necessarily have room for in the kitchen. Fit and finish are nice and haven't had any issues whatsoever. Great value for the price!

We've had the refrigerator for about a month. I placed a digital thermometer in both the freezer and the refrigerator and setting #2 resulted in the best temperatures, 0 degrees F in the freezer and 40 F in the refrigerator. A special thank you to the delivery men. I had them put it down cellar and while it was a tight fit, they did an excellent job with the installation. While its not a fancy refrigerator, it does give us some extra refrigerated storage space.

We moved and remodeled the kitchen. We opted for more cabinets and a thus a smaller fridge. This is perfect for a small area! We had same model at our previous house. That one periodically made a lot of noise coming from the freezer. This one has been a lot quieter and we loved that we got an icemaker kit with it.
