Underwhelmed
It’s much louder than our prior fridge which lasted over 17 years. You can hear the water running inside the fridge to the ice maker in such a way and so loud it sounds like a water leak. Initially this noise prompted my wife to call customer service thinking we had an issue. The compressor makes the shelves vibrate. Turns out nothing is actually wrong…ugh. Also the side by side doors do not line up equally. I expect us to be fortunate enough to get 8-10 years max out of this one. Time will tell..

Not Cooling
Less than 5 months after purchasing a brand new refrigerator and freezer, it is not cooling. I have requested a technician to come out but it is a minimum of 10 days before someone can come out. All of my food will be spoiled by then.

Perfect for space limitations
We've had a GE side-by-side refrigerator/freezer for a long time and now we are happy to have this brand new model. It's beautiful. Fingerprint resistant and the new temperature controls are by actual temperature which is great! This is the perfect fridge for limited space. Our home is older with some limited fridge space, this fits perfectly and even fits through the single front door. This is a beautiful new addition to our suite of GE appliances in our newly updated kitchen.

Garbage product, buyer beware!!!
Garbage product, bought June 20th,2022 and ice maker-water system disabled, back of fridge bulged out with huge rust spot with rust drizzled down entire back of fridge and galvanized back cover freezing cold. Digital panel only partially functions. This is not a cheap fridge so I expected more than 13 months of usage. Quality is garbage! I am extremely disappointed in GE's quality!!! Barely out of warranty and I don't have any recourse.

Crack on back wall appeared in 2 years - GESZ22
Don’t be surprised if the inside back wall of the refrigerator cracks for no apparent reason less than two years after purchase. GE says it is normal and won’t affect the use, but we have noticed that produce and cheese seem to go bad faster than normal. Here is a link to GE’s comment:

Good refrigerator poor quality shelves
Function seems to be good at 5 month mark. Loses one star for the quality of door shelves. Made of a plastic that gets fragile in the cold, like say in a refrigerator, and then cracks and splinters. At this point I have had to replace two shelves and another is cracking at the side mounting area. This is without overloading or abuse of the shelves. Previous refrigerator shelves were made of a more pliable plastic and lasted 15yr with no cracks.

Love it so far....Great adjustable shelves feature
So far so good! We've just received it and we are super pleased with the quality, looks...... and the favorite feature is there are multiple, adjustable shelves unique to this GE refrigerator compared to the competition. It's a huge bonus to be able really adjust the shelves in so many different heights!

Very thoughtful design
I love the shelving, storage drawers, recessed lights and how well it hides finger prints. I am still very pleased with this purchase after 1 month and everyone complements me on how great my GE refrigerator looks in my kitchen.

Perfect size!!
After having to downsize our fridge to get it in the door, we have loved our new fridge. The counter depth makes it so much more spacious in our tiny kitchen and there’s still room for everything.

Perfect size
Love how counterdepth is truly counterdepth. Don’t like the small bins in freezer, they need to be both need to be deeper. Very quiet unit. I would like to see wine rack in refrigerator also.

Side-bySides Rock!
Love the new frig! I like the side by side model. It’s easy to access anything in the frig as opposed to a French door model. It is flush with the counters and fits beautifully in the space. The fingerprint-less stainless steel is a breeze to keep sparkling clean! The door alarm is slightly annoying and I would love alkaline filter options that’s why I’d give this frig a 4.5 star review

Clean Water
It’s the simple things in life. Like a water dispenser that I can easily use with my tall contigo water bottle. My incoming water must be bad though. The first filter needed replacing in 3 months for a one person family. Good to have a great filter though!!

It fits! Almost. Happy so far.
So far so good! Selected due to fit into built-in space. Need to have cabinet above revised to allow doors to open. Prior refrigerator in space was higher end with metal ice maker parts where this one has plastic. Proof will be in the longevity and continued functioning. Cooling perfectly & making ice as it should.

Fridge exterior always looks fresh and clean
What I like: no-fingerprint feature on door finish, excellent interior lighting, strong fast water dispenser stream, stable temp, looks good in kitchen. Minor issues: top freezer shelf is wobbly, ice dispensing leaves little ice shards inside freezer.

Counter depth with lots of usable space inside
Refrigerator has plenty of space for a counter depth. If exterior finish is nice(finger print resistant).
Chips of ice seem to be falling out of ice dispenser also looks like they altered the area where ice falls from storage with a piece of plastic to redirect all or most of the ice??
Water dispenser drips need to hold cup under for a second or two to catch the drip, also water is not very cold coming out of the dispenser.

Brand new in place.
While I have only had it for 2 hours, it is humming quietly as it cools down. Installation was a snap except for the ten pounds of tape, foam and plastic film to protect it during shipment. It looks great, not a scratch thanks to its protective wrapping. My main reason for buying this model was it being one of the highest rated fridges on the market at 4.5 stars. Hoping it lasts longer than the last unit of another brand.
