Works well, saves space, eliminates any possible rattling that might occur when spinning a large, heavy load.
Works very well. While these are big machines, stacking them is no problem. I could have had them side by side, but stacking saves the space that the dryer occupied, allowing me to have an extra fridge in the laundry room. Also, the weight of the dryer on top of the washer eliminates any rattling noise that might occur when spinning a large, heavy load.

didn't fit
The delivery guys tried to install it and worked on it for half an hour or so, but it did not fit the washer or dryer properly. I had to return it but HomeDepot said the item is from a third-party vendor and they don't accept returns. So I recommend to buy it from a physical location that you have the option to return it in case it doesn't fit.

Will this stack with the washer/dryer below?
hello,
I have a DCVH515GF0WW dryer that i would like to keep.
I plan on purchasing the GFW550SSNWW washer. will the stacking kit, GFA28KITN, work for this application? or should I find another method?

I paid to have this installed and it has yet...
I paid to have this installed and it has yet to be installed. There's only one person at the East Savannah store that can help me with install, I have left several messages with this person. I went to the store and still couldn't be helped.

Horrible! Have had GE come out 4 times now to fix and everything time they have to order another part and then schedule another visit. I’ve had this for over an month and have not been able to use it.

Only had it about 2 weeks. Not thrilled with front...
Only had it about 2 weeks. Not thrilled with front open washer. Venting is quiet but I still find moisture even after the venting is completed. Not sure how to rectify that because I do not want to get the moldy smell. I am finding my clothes don’t smell nice like they did with my top loaders. Still trouble shooting and hoping to find the right way to get fresh clean clothes.
