I bought this vent hood with my GE Cafe suite! Custom built the hood surround and it was good to go. It works extremely well and is not nearly as loud as some others I've seen. The remote is an added bonus (although not necessary) Absolutely love the look of it installed as well. Easy to clean! Great compliment to the 36" Cafe Commercial RangeTop!

The hood is awesome! The appearance is very nice and the unit functions perfectly.

Havent owned long enough to know the strength of the venting but love the different fan levels and lighting is great. The remote is a nice added feature although doesn’t always seem to turn it on.

The vent works great. It is easy to use and clean.

Who knew that an oven Hood could be smart!?! It connects with my stove top via Bluetooth! It’s bright lights are LED so they don’t get hot, and the fan is quite! I do t have to shout over it. I live this hood!

I had a service person come out 2-3 weeks ago, but he didn't do anything about my issue. We had the lens cap fall off of two of the lights within the first couple of months also that I thought he would replace, but I was told that I had to pay for bulb replacement even though warranty says LED lights are covered under warranty. He said the flickering might be because the lens came off but it began flickering before that. So he didn't do anything to our vent hood.

We love our new vent hood, super features and lighting is great.

Enjoy the convenience of how the fan turns on automatically when a burner is turned on. Love the remote control too.

Love this hood. Has 3 settings and the lowest setting is so quiet. Does the job fantastically and looks great. I love the fact the filter comes off and can be washed and cleaned. The remote is an xtra plus. The only issue I had was that it took almost 6 months for it to arrive. Otherwise love the quality and very pleased.

The unit was easy to install and is easy to operate. It looks professional and works wonderful. It has a full slate of wi-fi features but the App is clunky and i bought a GE range that has Wi-Fi features and guess what... Chef connect only works on Bluetooth and does not work between these units. Talk about a let down. I was hoping to have a smart kitchen. It is really a kitchen that is controllable through apps but has not lateral knowledge of each other. What a miss. At least let the range control the range hood over Wi-Fi... The range hood is great but make sure you go over the features thoroughly if you plan to use Chef connect or wi-fi features. I still love the range hood though.

Wow! I can really see everything on my cooktop! The light is my favorite feature. The fan works well and removes the odors and draws the moisture up and out of my kitchen. Money well spent.

Have owned this GE product for a year and it works great. I'm tall so it was installed at the maximum height allowed by the installation requirements. I was concerned it wouldn't "vent" the stove odors enough but on the mid and high settings it does just fine. Only wish an owners manual had been left behind when installed.

I purchased this hood I am custom building the hood. Do you need a liner for this hood?

Love my new vent hood! Removes lingering food smell quietly and efficiently. The power boost setting is perfect when cooking things like bacon. Exactly what my kitchen needs.

Vent works quite well and has multiple options for the light and fan. Fingerprints show easily but since it's in the bottom of a cabinet, it's not a huge deal. I'd purchase again.

Very well made high quality range hood has 4 fan speeds and great LED lighting. Easy to remove stainless vents for dishwasher cleaning. Very happy with purchase and would highly recommend.

The specifications in the manual were just barely too small. Our $1500 custom wood hood cover was made exactly to the measurements given by this GE Hood manufacturer, then the hood didn't fit!! We had to rout out the wood hood for the rivets. The beautiful custom hood is now banged up from the routering. So frustrating.

I never got to install this vent. It requires a hood that has 19 1/4 inch width. The hood I have is 18 1/2 inches. My contractor tried to find a way to make it work but could not. I did get to plug it in and it is very quiet. I wish I could have used it. I returned it to the store. You may need a custom hood to make this work.

We received this hood only to find out that the manufactured size of the hood is larger than the install spec supplied in the installation guide by 1/8 of an inch. To be so far our of spec is very poor quality in manufacturing. This meant that we had to get the cabinet maker to modify the hood opening after the cabinet was installed. A very inconvenient truth. There are also rivets on the outer edge that left groves in the opening of the cabinet and there is no trim supplied to cover that mess. The hood is also loud. Not that I care about the noise, just I see that most ppl are saying it's super quiet and that is not what I hear. I would not purchase this unit. Go with a Victory hood instead. They are made in Canada not China and they are made to the proper spec. Fix your manufacturing quality GE, and supply some trim with your hood to cover your mess.

I hardly have used the features so cannot really rate this fairly.
