Just what the stove needed to give it a finished look. Should of come with the stove to begin with. Having to pay 29.00 for delivery with a little much just because an appliance item.

Perfect way to finish off the stove. Pricey though. I think these should be included in the stove’s purchase price. I’ve noticed that since the pandemic many businesses have adopted this model - separating options into an additional profit center.

Better than just tape
The "black" that I ordered is really a charcoal gray. It was difficult to cut to size but steel IS hard to cut, so with a miter box and hacksaw it was okay. It's an improvement over the black electrical tape I was using to seal the gap between the range and counter. Only used 2 of the 5 provided, which was a waste and excessive cost because of that.

Works if you buy 2 kits. Shame on you GE.
Why is there a ~12 inch long notch on the edge of both the left and right trim pieces? The range does not fit into that notch, so it just looks bad and leaves a large gap beside the range. The whole point of the trim piece is to fill in the space at the edge of the range. Shame on you GE. This trim is listed as being a fit for this range, but it is not.
If a customer is made of money, they could buy two of these kits, and use the single rear trim piece from each kit for the left and right sides of the range. The rear trim piece does not have the notch.

Why does JXFILLR1BB have 12 inch notch in it?
Why does the JXFILLR1BB have a 12+inch notch in it? Bought it for my cafe 30 gas slide in stove. Useless with the notch on 2 of the prices. It’s the model number you recommend. Why does the JXFILLR1SS not have notches. It’s the same model number except for the color. Infact in many sites the are listed together. Eagerly Awaiting your response

Apologies about any confusion toward the installation and the design. The left hand side filler kit is vented for the Dark Dorian and Black kits (JXFILLR1DD & JXFILLR1BB). This very small notch in the filler reduces heat transfer from the range to the cooktop. The slots created by these notches are there to allow cooling air to flow down the side of the cooktop.

Difficult to cut and doesn't look good installed
The instructions say "no tools required" but this is not true unless your counter happens to be the exact size. These are solid metal pieces and I needed to take it to a tool and die shop to have it cut to fit. It was very inconvenient to install and required measuring at home and cutting off site. It also doesn't look good once you install it.

The installation instructions state that parts labeled 4 and 5 may need trimming depending on whether or not they are used. this is worthless zero stars
I have a JGSS86SPSS with a 1.5 inch gap between my stove and my wall - how is this 5/8" going to fill that gap? Just hang in the air? maybe get 2 and they can hang side by side. Sorry this product is simply no good for a filler - at least for me.

This kit is not intended to fill large gaps between walls, but rather to cover small areas to provide a seamless look for cooktops and slide-in ranges and the countertop. We are very sorry to hear your trim kit has stained. This is certainly not something we would expect to hear and will be happy to help. For the best cleaning, we recommend wiping with mild detergent and warm water if an spills occur, before it dries. For tougher messes, we suggest Ceramabryte appliance cleaner. Great Looking Accessory
These fillers beautifully closed the gaps between my countertops and new GE range. My son in law installed them and it was easy for him to do and the result is great! They look as if they are part of the stove and keep crumbs from falling into the gap!

The filler pieces do not fit, and we need to cut them down to fit. It is not possible to make our new stove level with counter which is required to install the filler pieces. The filler pieces are over priced at $100, especially because they do not work as advertised.

These were useless. Returned immediately. They adhere to the countertop. They were the wrong size, not even close to what was needed. Don’t waste your time or money. I ordered stainless steel gap covers from Pickett products. These worked out much better. Same price and easily installed.

Kit JXFILLR!DD
We have the JGSS66SELSS stove and ordered this trim kit because it shows it as an accessory for this stove. We need the longer rails for the sides but (1) is notched out. Is there a way of getting just (1) long piece that is not notched out?

Way overpriced! Have to cut but need to go...
Way overpriced! Have to cut but need to go to a machine shop to do so. The largest back piece is too short for. My 30 in slide in range. I can only use the two side pieces that neeed to be cut. Why not include with the range in the correct length
