Customer Reviews for GE Reverse Osmosis Replacement Filter Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE filters FQ18PN are super easy to replace and are compatible with select GE Under Sink Filtration Systems including GXRQ18NBN which I use them with. The system and filters provide a REVERSE OSMOSIS filtration that provides the best tasting water I have had. I am on a treated community well and always disliked the water as it was hard water with a strong chlorine taste and smell. The filters removed all the taste and smells from the drinking water. I have ditched the wasteful water bottles for the GE system. The filters last 6 months with normal use and removes 95% impurities. The item description was just as described and I would buy it again.

Water taste so much better and will definitely be drinking more of it due to this filtration system. I did have a little bit of help from my husband in connecting everything, but it seem to be pretty easy. I think it took him a whole 5 minutes, if even that.

Very easy to change out filters in this system. Way too expensive though.

Expensive replacement--cost $133 with tax. Brand new unit by comparison was $249. When I had Aqua Science R.O. , their serviceman did service call for new filters for $125. Much better deal.

Replaced these while trying to fix the leaking faucet. Turns out these probably didn’t need to be replaced (after over a year of life on the original filters), but they’re working great. Here’s fix I found for my leaky faucet issue: blow compressed air into the air gap vent, or disconnect and blow from bottom of black tube.

The replacement filters are too expensive.
