Hi there - We appreciate you choosing GE Appliances and taking the time to provide your feedback. However, we're sorry that the filters seems to last a shorter amount of time each cycle. We understand that would be a nuisance. We recommend replacing the disposable prefilter and postfilter cartridges every 6 months, at the rated capacity, or sooner if a noticeable reduction in flow rate occurs (plugged with sediment). Replace the disposable RO cartridge every 24 months, or sooner if a noticeable reduction in filtration efficiency occurs.
