Just Okay - the app is glitchy and not very user friendly.

I did not install on my own but I had an hvac person install it. Once installed it was very easy to use with the google home app. I really think this will reduce kWh usage and be good for the environment.

Has a mind of its own. Randomly heat will come on, no blower at times.. product is over complicated..

I had a New AC /Heater installed. It has a smart feature that actually reads the outside Temp and control;s weather the 2 stage system goes from low to high. It has so many benefits , I am impressed. Finally the House has never been more comfortable..

It has stopped sensing when I walk up... I have tried every trouble shooting I can find - changing the batteries etc and cannot get it fixed may need to return.

The thermostat works great. The app on my phone that can control the thermostat remotely is intermittent. It tends to go off line and not connect to the Nest. Overall, I am satisfied with the device.

Not worth it. To much work time and money to fix the c wire issue...

This is a cool idea but the product absolutely sucks we had no problem installing it no problem getting everything set up in the app but it did tell me that I need a C wire I saw that if you had cooling and heating you wouldn’t need a C wire but we had to get one no big deal so for days we played around with it trying to control the Temp but you can’t control it our house was between 62 and 67° and we could not get it to warm up because of the presets with the device you can’t override it it always says 2 hours you’re waiting for it to warm up…and it warms up when it wants too..you can’t override the settings like a traditional thermostat and just have the heat set constantly at that temp…it has been very cold here in Minnesota with wind chills -22° our house is so cold even if we turn the oven on and open the door it can’t heat up very well I hate that I can’t override the controls to have it set at a temperature I choise and let it run it should be my choice but there are all these presets and even when I took them all the way there are settings that you can’t control I don’t like that about this I think the idea is cool but this product really sucks it is too cold for this nonsense and I can’t wait to get a traditional thermostat because this won’t work… two stars is simply because the idea is nice wish it worked

Had to replace 4x and still doesn’t work. Google customer service was not helpful at all! They are more concerned with getting their $ by placing holds on your cc then providing a product that works. App never works, had to reset the thermostat every day.

I'm sure it works great with modern houses but mine was built in '89. I even texted photos to my AC guy to confirm the wiring but it would not turn the outside compressor on for cold air. Not messing around with that. Reinstalled the Honeywell dumb thermostat and all was good. FYI, I am an electrician.

Bought two of these 4 months ago. Nothing but problems. Batteries included drained after two months. Won’t stay connect to the internet. Constant error codes. Home Depot only supports 90 days. Offered me a $20.00 discount to buy again. Funny.

The comparability checker said it would work in my house and then the setup process said it wasn’t compatible and just shut me down. Theron way to call a human for help and the site is useless. Google failed.

I do wish I would have known that it is not compatible with the nest app, it took some time to learn how to do the pre sets in the google home app and also you don’t have the option of running the fan, only auto

Very easy to install and setup. It really is amazing to have it set up for eco temp mode. And i love how easy it is to use the app to control this thermostat. This a great addition to my home.
