My bathroom vanity center piece fell off. The panel is light enough that double sided tape would work as I didn’t want to nail or screw anything down because the way the plumbing is under the sink. It’s tacky and hard to get out of the packaging it should have a clear plastic film behind the roll to avoid sticking to packaging. I used my own left over plastic film and stuck it to the roll. Follow the placement instructions and hold in place for 60 seconds. Use sharp scissors the tape is thick.

Good product and worked great for my application. I applied to the back of an aluminum emblem that I attached to an old VW Beetle. So far seems to be really sold and holding fast.

So far this adhesive is holding. It has restock properties. I can remove the adhesive and reapply as it keeps its hold. Thank you.

I used Gorilla glue to adhere decorative molding to the wall of my event hall. It's meant to be permanent & it sure is. It was STUCK to the wall after just a few minutes, unfortunately my line was off & I had to remove it. It took WORK to remove it but I did with minimal damage to the wall that only required paint touch up.(We started with nail glue that time consuming & MESSY.) Gorilla glue seriously made the install sooo quick, easy & oh so CLEAN.

Used it to attach removable pieces to a puppet. Nothing fell off. Tape used on teeth, eyes and hair.

This double sided, clear tape was exactly what I needed to install my doorbell camera. We’ve had some high winds and strong storms lately and the tape has kept my camera securely in place. This tape is very versatile and is a great option for when you don’t want to drill into a surface.

I'm a huge fan of the hot glue gun, but this tape makes my DYI projects and crafting so simple that even my kids can help me without the fear of them getting burned. It's fantastic for home projects, decorating and mounting, but it's also excellent for fixing items that are broken when you're in a pinch. The tape is fast and simple to use and I love that it's clear so that it blends seamlessly. I highly recommend that everyone keep this tape on hand. You'll be surprised how often you'll use it!

I bought the double sided tape to use installing my recessed lighting and total fail. Product says it will hold up to 15 lbs and it wouldn't even hold 1 lb. What a waste of money. Should have bought 3m instead.

Decided to try and stick some mirrors on the wall.. did good at first . Woke up the next morning to 4 broken mirrors .. It’s day 5 and another 2 fell off.

The gorilla tough and clear mounting tape is clear as described, and it js double sided tape that absolutely mounts in an instant. This provided a permanent and i mean permanent bond to my outside paneling of my house. I also used it o. The side rails of my outside deck. It is crystal clear so it is undetectable, and it has held up perfectly. As you can see I mounted outside lights and control panels with no problem at all. I sm sold on this stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gorrilla mounting tape feels like cheating. I am the worst picture hanger, and when I use nails it's not pretty. With this tape I can hang small photos and electronics plus not tear up my walls. I even used it to relocate a set of LED lights that back lit my TV and the cable box. As long as the surface is flat and clean it will hang tight. I would rather use Gorilla mounting tape over nails and a hammer everytime and highly recommend it.

Relatively clear, extremely flexible. Probably intended to be placed between the object of application and the application surface. However, I was intrigued by trying different opportunities for using this tape and I have supplied a picture demonstrating how strong a small portion of this is. You have to be a bit careful in handling it, because of it's extreme flexibility. It will tend to double back and adhere to itself. It can be stretched to attain a thinner strip application

For the "Gorilla" name, this tape is in my opinion not quite as strong as I expected, but it still did the job for me. I used it to hang a couple of pictures, nothing heavy at all and I needed to go back and add an extra strip of tape to keep the pictures from leaning, and sagging.

I have arthritis, so struggle with getting things to stick or be able to press hard enough to make them hold. This tape is amazing! Just don't place it where you will want to go back and change positions because once it's placed, it holds!! I glued my granddaughters flower down on a gift she made me as it kept falling off. Great item (as are most Gorilla products) and a must have in the home!

I really like and use Gorilla products all the time where my projects require them. For this particular DYI, I applied the new double sides adhesive tape in totally different approach to an ongoing problem. I had wood floor installed and the trim door jam the installers used kept breaking loose ( literally ) so I removed them, cleaned the parts broken as well and reattached them to the floor using the tape. It was easy to apply and worked flawlessly, couldn't ask for better results. A very nice fit and I think its cured my problem. It worked so well, I used it in two doorways.

As a new home owner the dread of putting the first nail in a wall is pretty significant. At least for my smaller pieces of are art work , I found that Gorilla mounting tape does a great job. Holds secure and flush to the wall. I haven't tried to remove it yet so I can't address the effect on paint. One thing that it works well for me is securing rug edges to floors. Works on both wood and tile. It cleans up just fine when removed with adhesive remover. No more tripping over corners. My only issue is the removal of the non-stick surface on the tape. Peeling off the surface is a hassle unless you can get a small knife edge or finger nail between the two surfaces.

This Gorilla mounting tape works very well. I have used it to put a few pictures on the wall of varying weights (none over 15# so far). The package says up to 38#'s but I don't have anything that heavy to mount so far. The tough & clear mounting tape is double sided, one side has a plastic covering, making it really easy to work with. It definitely does work on uneven surfaces, at least as long as it isn't more uneven that the tape is thick, otherwise the lower side would not connect with your item. This Gorilla mounting tape is very easy to use, just cut the length you need, press it well to the surface you need it on, remove the plastic strip, and firmly press the item you want to hang to it. Be sure to follow package directions, that is the key to insuring most things work right.

Can this mounting tape work? Yes. Can this mounting tape fail? Yes. But the failure isn’t really the fault of the tape. I’ve been using the Gorilla brand mounting tape off and on for years and the few times there has been a failure it’s because the mounting surface was not sufficient to hold the weight. If the surfaces are clean and are weight capable, this tape works as intended; but painted surfaces are sketchy, as the paint may pull off the wall. As for removing the liner, PRO TIP: Before cutting off a section of tape, pull the corner of the tape and stretch it and the liner will peel up.

This Gorilla Double-Side Mounting Tape can be use indoor and outdoor which is great considering that a lot of tapes are not that strong. Gorilla really did a great job with this mounting tape. It can holds up to 38 lbs. Also, the mounting tape is clear. Its very easy to use and contains a strong adhesive. Great quality that you would expect from Gorilla products. The adhesive on this Gorilla Double-Side Mounting Tape is strong and can secure a lot of things. Highly recommend this product. Its a permanent tape that can cause surface damage but not a big deal. Excellent product!

The tape backing was nearly impossible to remove even when applying pressure the both sides like the directions call for. As a test piece I used a porter cable 20V charger without a battery. I adhered it to the wall of my shoo which is made from plywood. It lasted less than 1 day before falling off the wall. I think maybe for light duty this tape may be okay but its certainly didn't hold 38lbs as advertised for me.

It worked great to attach a plant hanger to a trellis. A friend made a special hanger for me and I love how it looks on the trellis. Easy to use and seems to hold very well. I am looking for other uses now. I have a compass/temperature sensor in my pickup that kept falling off the windshield so I used this tape to hold it and after a week it is still holding where other adhesives failed.

I wanted to give the GORILLA 1 IN. TOUGH AND CLEAR MOUNTING TAPE a try I used the brown version of the double sided tape for years a my wife and do crafts and plenty of decorating around the house for the summer she has this cement jar thing we change out every season, or holiday. The under side of the lid is semi smooth and the tape stay put to hold a micro LED light battery pack in place so you don't see it, the tape was very easy to peal and it held good, like it should because it is well under the 15 lbs. But the next morning the battery fell! , where the brown Heavy Duty version holds for months!!!

Got this to try and fix a cabinet in my shop. As you see the doors was to thin and when cutting the hinge holes it went through the door. This still worked to hang the doors but you have a hole as seen in the picture. I did not want to glue the Piece I put on incase I want to replaced the doors and use the plywood again for something else. So this was the FIX for now. I used 2" strips on each end of a Maple piece of wood and then stuck it on over each hinge hole. It stuck really good to the Maple wood and the maple plywood covering the holes and not bad looking at all. This was very easy to use and it sticks really good. The hardest part was getting the plastic cover strip off the tape. It takes a little bit of effort to get it started but after you get a small corner started you can pull it off easy. It also cuts easy with scissors and its been holding up under the heat here in Las Vegas

Definitely Tough and Clear! I've been a fan of Gorilla products for years, so was eager to try their Tough and Clear Mounting Tape. As expected, the tape is strong, durable, and holds a lot. I used it to hang this rather heavy metal piece in my kitchen and it's holding strong (see photo). The tape is easy to use, clear, and sturdy. I actually prefer it to the Gorilla glue.

AS seen in my pics, I used it on an outside job. I got this tape specifically for this job. I didn't want to risk putting a screw from the back though the 2x4 into the trim. THis tape seems to hold the upper end of the 2x4 right in place (lower end is screwed in). The one inch width is perfect for my job. You could cut the strips into thinner widths if needed. It's been a week and it's still holding. Time will tell. It's sticky, but not ridiculously sticky. Getting the protective film off was a little of a chore. I will update this review as time goes on to tell you how it's held up.

I used this tape to mount a metal decoration on tile in my back yard. Had it hanging from a nail and the slightest breeze caused it to bang against the tile and make a racket. This Gorilla mounting tape was worth a try and so far it is holding up very well. It is easy to cut, but the clear backing is very difficult to remove, the package says pinch it , but I had to use my needle nose pliers to pinch it enough to separate. Other than that, It is a great product.
