The stakes worked perfectly for my needs. I used them to clearly mark off the area where I planned to plant.

They are just what I needed, strong, no knots and cut with the grain of the wood. very well made.

Excellent product. Just what I needed for my bamboo barrier.

Worked great for an army crawl at our school event.

Needed some pieces to attach to netting. Much better than cutting the all myself.

Of the 12 stakes, one had a bad knot and broke as I pounded it in the ground

Most of them where good. Two broke after the first hit because of knots. But it got the layout job done.

you better have soft ground you'll start busting them

This is a rating for the quality of the item at the Home depot in Hyannis. 1st. EVERY single one was in a high bay and needed an associate to obtain. 2nd finding the associate was a task in itself. 3rd if you were looking for good "clean" ones for an indoor project, well you are out of luck as every single on is outside in the garden department getting dirty and rained on in the environments every day. So if you keep a clean indoor/covered garden and wanted clean stakes... welp, not these. Mine were not for a garden, so I needed to sand every single one.

No knots or material issues. They did the job as needed.

Rough cut, poor quality lumber with a lot of knots led to multiple fracturing after routing mallet blows.

You have to be very cautious when you pound them into the ground. They break easily.

Good quality and price was a little higher than I wanted it to be.
