A bit more expensive than some of the cheaper made ones out there but this panel is a lot more durable and the customer service could not be beaten. Every question I had about the Grape Solar System starting from purchasing the 50 watt starter kit to adding on a 40 amp charge controller and two 100w panels and every step of the way Steve at customer service answered my email the day I wrote it to them.

I used two of these to replace two 60 Watt modules on my RV when I replaced the RV roof about two years ago. This is matched with a Morningstar 15 Amp PWM charge controller, two group 27 size 220 Amp-hr deep cycle batteries and a 1100 Watt sine wave inverter. The system works great. Note that the system does not produce the rated output. That is typical of solar modules. The peak output is about 120 Watts. But it produces plenty of energy for my needs for dry camping without a generator. I got the Z mounting brackets then decided that would not work on the RV. I needed a system that would allow me to remove the modules for maintenance. I cut some aluminum angle and made my own Z brackets that bolt together so I could remove the modules by removing easily accessible bolts. See photos.

Good price for 100 watt panels. Easy to install, but I wish I could have found reasonably priced mounts that would have allowed tilting. Time will tell how they hold up. So far they are working as expected.

I mounted 4 panels, in parallel, connected to my EPEver 40 amp MPPT 4210AN controller and 2-6 volt deep cycle batteries (in series) and I'm very happy with the results. I'm planning on 2 more panels along with 2 more batteries

I made 3 portable cases out of 6 grape solar 100 watt panels and hooked them up to two 40 amp pwm grape solar controllers. Then built a 6V 245 AH x2 12v in series then tied 3 in parallel totaling 735 AH 12v bank. Hooked up a 6,000 watt 12,000 watt max inverter. I put electronics in my truck tools box and hardwired a 30 amp RV RECEPTICLE BOX into inverter and mounted it to tool box and put the 6 6v batteries into an army trunk with vents custom drilled around the side top. And plugged in the panels and RV worked awesome. I will upload pictures if I can.

I was very pleased when I pulled the two 100 watt grape panels out of their boxes. They were well packed, no damage at all. I hooked them up to a Victron 75/15 controller and once the sun came out from behind the clouds they were producing 210 watts of power. I made them into a portable suitcase and as they were so inexpensive thought I would need to beef up the frames. That wasn't needed, they are well made units. Much better than I expected for $89. I have had them now for two weeks powering my RV from Bulk to Float each day.

The panels arrived quickly and on the day promised. The packaging was quite good. Since i was curious about the bypass diodes, i opened one of the panel's junction boxes and discovered that the sealing gasket had been mis-installed, leaving a gap for water entry at one corner. The gasket had been pinched, so simply re-seating it into the proper groove still left a couple of "seep" spots. Since my plan for the panel was an RV's rooftop, they would be frequently subject to 60 mph-driven rain. Calling Grape Solar got an immediate response of "we can send you a new panel" ... which seemed over the top for a simple gasket replacement. I sent along an email with a photo of the problem plus my panels' serial numbers. On my request, and given the serial numbers, Grape was able to locate a matching replacement cover-with-gasket and it arrived the next day. The second panel's gasket was properly installed. The panels have not yet been mounted, but a quick test in partial sunshine with volt- and ammeters showed they were apparently working up to spec. It's a bit of a pain that Home Depot does not carry in-store appropriate solar items such as the MC4 connectors used on the panels, junction connectors (Y's), Z-feet nor appropriate PV (photo voltaic) wiring.

I fell on one of these Grape Solar Panels last summer, The glass is shattered form top to bottom but it is still operating to keep my shop batteries charged. It is like a Timex it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Will buy a couple more this year.

Great product and size. Nicely packaged with fast shipping. I have ordered 4 of these panels before. Just got 10 more for a grid tie. Caught them on sale $89 each with free shipping. How can you loose at that price?

I purchased this to create an awning over my south facing front door. $100 for the panel and around $100 for the angle iron for mounting is cheaper than simple awnings. It keeps a Goal Zero battery in the house topped up no problem. It generates so much power I am going to build an electric bike to use it all.

Very good value and well built
I ordered 2 of these panels to replace some thin-film panels I purchased from another seller. For the price, these panels produce much more power ($/watt) and are much more solidly built. They are easy to mount and connect. The first panel was basically thrown into a box with little protection for shipment, but the second panel came in more protective packaging. Neither panel, however, arrived damaged. I have them paired (in series) with the Grape Solar 300W MPPT controller, also sold by Home Depot, to keep a small bank of 12V batteries charged - see pics. (Note: I can put them in series because the controller is MPPT.) Works wonderfully.

      Bought 4, all good
I mounted them on a tilting rack, to follow the sun, manually. They do a fine job charging my 6 golf cart batteries on a sunny day. They charge a little on a cloudy day. The way I have them mounted, all 4 sets of wires come together in a beaker box. I cut the connectors off. Used 6-3 with ground wire. paired the conductors, red and black, for positive, white and ground for negative, for a better conduction 80 ft.

      Great portable solar panel
I was looking for a solar panel that wasn't large and heavy but produced a decent amount of power. This one is exactly that. It's easy to transport and move around. I now charge my electric tractor batteries in the field with little effort. The panel is well made with top quality materials. I would definitely recommend it.

      Excellent Solar Panels
I just love the 100W Grape solar panels and they exceed my expectations, three more I will definitely order before Fall! The shipping was great, well packed with no issues and a handy email tracking link was nice. They were real easy to install and are strongly built, I know they'll last me decades and already they are saving me $40.00/month.

      12 volt project
The panel arrived at my residence reasonably quick and in good condition. The panel is keeping my deep cycle battery charged .The battery is tied to a 12 volt pump used for watering from my rain barrels.

      High quality product.
Ordered online and received delivery in about one week. Solar panels came all the way from Oregon with no shipping charge. Panels are high quality. I use them to charge a battery bank of four 6 volt golf cart batteries used for emergency power. These panels supply more than enough power for my needs. I would not hesitate to purchase more.

      Now the size has changed
I bought 2 of these about 4 years ago and mounted them between some 4x4 post. Posts are concreted in the ground. Original panel size is about 40"x 26 1/2". Looks like now there's quite a difference in the width of the new panels. Something like 4 plus inches less on the width. I'm going to have to make shims, big shims for the width. Sadly the glass on one of my panels was cracked due to a tornado
