My original review of this Greenes Fence 4 ft. X 12 ft. raised garden flower bed contained a before photo of the project. At the time I was unable to add an after photo of the finished product. All of the material was delivered on time and intact. Material was prepped and stained prior to assembly. Assembly went well although the surface was not level due to the tree roots. One post had a slight crack which was secured with a couple of screws. I would highly recommend.

My wife wanted me to plant more flowers around our tree in front of the house. There were too many tree roots to plant any more So the answer was to purchase this raised 4’ X 12’ garden bed. It fit perfect around the tree in the center and allowed for plants in the outer sections. Some of the posts and boards were rough sawn like other reviews had said but I sanded the rough spots down prior to assembly.Assembly took a little extra time because the surface was not smooth and level. Once assembled it looked awesome. Now that it’s filled with flowers my wife loves the improvement. I consider this an excellent purchase. Would highly recommend.

Easy to assemble! Several endcaps needed to be replaced; I received new pieces very quickly!!

Easy assembly. Some of the boards were cracked or had defects. I put them at the bottom. Overall, I love these garden beds! My gardens are beautiful and I love the size and ability to separate. Love so Much I bought 2!

Here’s some Pros and Cons Pros > Price is very reasonable, especially for cedar > Easy to assemble > It is constructed in a way that allows for natural expansion and contraction Cons > Hard to move once assembled, the posts are routed out in a key way profile to receive the side pieces so they will just fall out the bottom if you try to move it. > Only 1x sides so they are very flimsy and will bow out

Easy to put together and looks great

I really wanted to like these beds. These were very easy to put together-I did it without any tools and on my own. They looked great for the first year. By year 2 several of the boards had warped and were pulling apart. Because of the cut on the edges they are not easily replaced, nor does there seem to be an easy fix. For my next beds I will just buy the lumber and build them myself.

all dovetails off center and only 1 side cut you would be better off with 4×6×4's 4×4×4's and a bunch of deck screws

I wanted to have a garden this year & need a raised box. I looked at this one, then priced lumber to build. While deciding, the price went up a little, but this kit was still cheaper than buying lumber at this time. I picked it up at the store, pretty heavy box, & purchased 24 bags of top soil & manure. Assembly was very easy! Went together with no issues & looks great in the yard! I actually have more room for extra plants next year!!

Put this together with my 4 year old son in about 30 minutes. Wife loves it and first perfectly in the back corner of our yard. Definitely recommend. We had it shipped as well and everything came in good shape.

Corner piece broke when putting it together and the corner slots were cut very inconsistently. Not worth the money AT ALL.

This was so easy to put together. I love that you can leave a short side off to easily fill with dirt. It has bowed a little on one of the long sides because I’m not using the center divider but otherwise it is holding up fine.

Love this so product so much!! I ended up purchasing the same brand fencing to go around it. My husband was hesitant when I told him I wanted to put it in. But now that he has seen it and has seen the progress of my garden, he said we might add two or three next year!!

I assembled this in under 20 minutes with time to spare to get my lasagna garden materials into it before the rain came. It went together easily, and with level ground, it filled in nicely. I now have a fully planted bed in under an hour. The only thing I wish is that I had more room in my yard to build three more!

I have had this for 3 months and am happy with it. I purchased the 10.5 inch sides so it could be installed on a slope. It was easy to assemble and the divider keep it aligned. Wish they would include a second screw for the caps so they wouldn't turn.

It was so easy to assemble! No problems. And it looks great. I bought two and set them up by myself. I planted loads of veggies. This project was a father’s Day gift for my son. He loves it.

It was so simple to put together. No blemished or unusable pieces everything was perfect. it was really easy to vary the depth and sizes of the beds we wanted. We also were able to use the leftover pieces to build a compost pit. The only thing I wish is that it was easy to find additional individual pieces at Home Depot. I don't want to have to buy a whole new 80 square foot kit. Other than that the product is really really good.

Do NOT waste your money on this cheap product. All dadoes split and I could not use any part of this junk. Light weight garbage. If I could give it a -5 I would because I cannot return it to get my $99 back. I would not even pay $9 for this.

Love it! Easy to assemble , works great for the size garden we wanted.

Makes a nice raised garden bed, but the wood of the joiner pieces tend to split during assembly; it is a tight fit pushing the board through the joiner channel. Had to glue one back together again before I could finish assembling.

I ordered two of these raised bed planters. Because my garden has to be in my front yard I wanted something that would look nice. I have a huge island in the yard that has been empty for the past four years. The planters along with some small trees and bushes are going to look nice when I complete the project.

Very pleased with my Greene's 4 ft. x 8 ft. raised bed. The shipping was within a week which I thought was very quick. It was easy to assemble as I had it installed in about one hour. The tongue and groove cedar plants fit perfectly and slid in easily as long as I kept them level while sliding them into the corner posts. Before filling the raised bed, I lined the inside and bottoms of cedar with plastic sheeting to protect the wood and hopefully, get a few good years out of my vegetable garden. The raised bed took almost a cubic yard of compost/soil to about two inches from the top, then I surrounded the garden with 3ft high chicken wire to keep the critters honest . I placed eye hooks on the front to be able to access the bed. Veggies are now planted and I'm looking forward to my crop of toms, cukes, peppers and strawberrys this year.
