I bought this system after getting frustrated with the roof jacks I had originally planned to use. This fall-protection system worked like a charm - it was easy to install on the ridge of the roof, the harness was simple to put on, and the slide lock was easy to use and unobtrusive. Thankfully, I didn't have to test the nature of the fall protection while I was up high, but the added protection and peace of mind provided by this system was absolutely worth the cost. The bonus of not having to mess with installing roof jacks for a relatively quick trip on on the roof is almost priceless. Installation is easy, and can be aided by searching around for videos of others installing the roof anchor. Highly recommended.

Thankfully didn't have to test the falling with it but it gave me and my husband a sense of security while he was up on the roof.

felt very safe

for its price, its an excellent value. Everything you need to be safe on a roof is included and is well made. It doesn't take long to adjust the harness to fit and is comfortable in use. Only drawback and its probably me is I couldn't get everything back in the bucket. I would purchase again.

The product did what it was supposed to do had this harness for a couple of months, just need a extra large harness. Just hope I never need to use it to keep me from falling.

Met our needs and expectations. Had it reviewed by a workplace safety inspector and he had no issues with it. Good kit, would purchase this product again when needed.

Everything I needed to feel secure on roof to clean chimney stack

The bucket has everything you need,including the rope.There is a camlock that allows you to slide the rope through so you can keep the slack out. The harness takes a little getting used to, but I wouldn't go up on a pitched roof without it.

I chose the Qualcraft over the competition for 2 reasons: 1) the lanyard connecting the harness to the slider on the rope was shorter so the rope or the slider was always within easy reach and its easier to hold onto a rope than it is a flat strap; 2) the electroplated steel roof anchor will be in place until my roof is replaced about 7-8 years from now. Some Boeshield applied after each use should keep it healthy until then. Fit and finish are excellent as is the stitching and attention to details like the rope end. Harness was easy to adjust and comfortable to wear for several hours at a time. The only annoyance was the attach ring on the harness. When the harness on on and adjusted snugly, I could not reach the ring to connect the lanyard until my wife flipped it upright so that I could snake a finger in it reaching over my shoulders.

Nice kit, the bucket keeps it all clean and protected. The only thing I don't like is, the rope has the fall protection, not the lanyard.

Bought this to feel more secure while doing roof work. Fits comfortably, not too hard to figure out, much easier to put on and attach with help of another. Would love it if it had hooks at intervals on the safety rope so that I could wrap the rope around something and attach the hook to the rope.
