For the price these are, I cannot in good conscience recommend these. The Bronze paint is chipping off the majority of them and removing them from the stakes to perform basic maintenance has broke the stakes off in the ground. They also have a non-standard stake size. Most replacement stakes are designed for 0.8 in diameter, but these have close to 0.98 in diameter poles. Very frustrating. For the price I would have expected metal stakes instead of ABS plastic.

My new lights turn on fine at dusk and last most of the night. Bad side is the glass is super top heavy so they break easy. Had to take back 2 already. If they break again I will take them all back and chose a different style. Maybe one off there web site.ovee all rating is maybe a 2 out of 5.

The Good: - These look and feel excellent. The Bad: - These are about as "dumb" a light as you can imagine. They must be directly connected to the light-sensor with no filtering, logic, or tuning. Therefore, they do an annoying flicker on / off as the sun sets. They turn on at different intervals, often 10-minutes apart even though they are all located in the same area of the yard. They will also turn off at the slightest hint of a porch light or car headlight. - They burn themselves out over time. It took about 3 months to kill 1 of 6. It doesn't turn on at all. another 3 of 6 are basically out of battery only 4 hours after the sun sets even though they are all located in a sunny, south-facing spot. Only 2 of 6 seem to be useful still. This is likely due to a total lack of proper battery management. I'm guessing these lights are attempting a 100% state of charge in daylight, and a 0% state of charge at night. A sure-bet way to kill any lithium battery over time. It's embarrassing having these in my yard.

Pros: Attractive. Bright, 10 lumens rating is believable. Come with 1000mAh NiMH batteries, can replace with higher mAh rated batteries. 2500K is a very warm color (see pics), maybe a con for those who like a bluer whiter light. These are waterproof, have had several very hard rains and no leaks. Easy to install, used a rubber mallet to drive in stakes. Stakes are longer than other lights we have had. Metal and glass so should hold up better than all plastic lights. Cons: Expensive, gave them 4 stars because of price. Bronze color may fade over time.

These are lights are beautiful! They are solid, metal and glass, very heavy and super quality for only $10 per light! They are also much brighter than any of the solar lights we have had in the past! I am going to order another set to continue along the side of our house.

I purchased 2 boxes (6ea) of these a few weeks ago for my flower beds. The style and height was just what I was looking for. I did however, change out the factory batteries with ones that with several hours of direct sun, would stay illuminated all night. The only reason I cannot give these a 5 star rating is that it appears I have a defective light. Even with a new battery and a full charge, the light will only stay illuminated for a few hours and then goes out. Overall, I am happy with the product .

The appearance, quality, value and ease of installation are all excellent for this product. But being solar powered still is the downfall of this line of products. I have installed a set of these lights in late spring by my waterfall. For the first several months the lighting was good, lasted all night, but now going into late fall I feel that I will be making a change next year. The solar panels are starting to fog which decreases the charging capacity to bring the battery to full charge. They still are lit through most of the night into the early morning, but the performance is going downhill. Going to low-voltage is still the easiest and best way of getting something that will work for years. Replacement solar panels were as much as the one fixture.

Beautiful, easy to install and nice, subtle lighting. Just bought 12 more for the rest of the yard!

I just purchased these a few days ago and they look great! Exactly what I was looking for and way better quality than others on the market. I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend these solar lamps. They have a vintage bulb that gives an unbelievably bright light. They go on immediately at dawn and stay lit until dusk. They are very sturdy and attractive with a beautiful bronze finish and a crackled glass. They are a good big size and height. Look much more expensive than the price. Had them for three weeks and no issue of water getting in or fading. All my neighbors have the electric lamps and these are by far brighter. My sister lives across from me and she recommended getting the electric lamps "so much better" she said. Well, after seeing how beautiful my house was lit up and how much brighter my lamps were sis replaced her electric lamps with these lamps. I highly recommend these lamps. You definately will not be dissapointed! Oh, FYI if you open a Home Depot credit card which took only few minutes, you receive $25 off your purchase.

Great light. Not your typical solar light. It is decently bright (10 lumens) for being a solar luminaire and illuminates with a nice warm glow, not stark white like many other solar LED lamps. 2500K looks accurate for the color temperature. The light fixture also looks nice, not cheap looking like most solar lights. I'm definitely buying some more, these are my favorite solar path lights so far.

I love these solar lights. The best part is the bulb - it is similar to an Edison style bulb that is visible. It produces a warm soft light and doesn't give off any pattern like the plastic/cheap solar lights. The glow is similar to the light given off by traditional low voltage lighting.

This is the second set of Hampton Bay vintage bulb solar path lights I've purchased. First set over three years old and I have not had to replace batteries yet. One lamp did stop working but not a deal breaker for me. They were out of stock for so long, but when they came back I was able to get on sale. Looks good, works well and long lasting. I recommend these for pathway lighting.

The products were broken when the box was opened - we were grateful for the opportunity to return them.

The product is Excellent, the problem is logistics shipping them to me lost/damaged (2 sets delivered to the wrong address/2 sets received damaged)…

Lights had to be ordered from your .com site. Box was lost and the store reordered. When box arrived one of the fixtures was already broken. Seems I can’t replace just one, but must buy a new full box. Really disturbing!

I purchased two boxes. In each of them, at least half of the lights came broken. Home Depot should check their merchandise before it is shipped out to the customer. This is the second time this has happened when purchasing the same product. I am very disappointed.

High value structure, thick brass, heavy glass, large lamp, metal throughout. Recently purchased two more stets after owning previous sets for some ten years. Only needed to replace the rechargeable batteries twice during that period. I live in a low humidity (less than 9 inches precipitation per year) area but do sprinkler watering. I temporarily set aside the lamp when sprinklers nearby.

These lights are very nice. They are working well and look nice when on or off. Hope they will continue to do so for years.

Wanted to replace older corded lights in a garden off our deck this year with solar lights. Original lights served us well but were wearing out and had cord issues. We have had good experiences to date with solar lighting and wanted to replace in that direction. So we bought these after reading reviews and placed them in our garden. Have had them outside for about three weeks now. The lighting is magnificent and the ease of use is terrific. These lights stay lit from sundown well into the early morning hours. The lights have a stately structure and color about them which adds to their charm. Very satisfied with this purchase. Have recommended them to friends.
